Appreciate you using the same car I own, that’s a huge help lol. I was wondering with an upside down board, if the bindings would catch the side rail of the car on the slide out. Looks like a ton of clearance. Wasn’t too worried because jeep has abnormally tall crossbars but still good to see

Hello. Yes, that's worked out great with the same vehicle. The clearance is about 5 inches and that should be enough for most folded bindings. Thanks!

Can this be direct mounted to prinsu roof rack cross bars with the TSLOTs?

does it make more wind noose because of the teeth design?

Hello. Yes, the Grip is on the upper end of the ski carrier range. Check out this SportRack carrier, it's ~1/3rd the price and will get your gear to the slopes too: www.rackattack.com/rooftop-ski-racks/sportrack-groomer-deluxe/

Love the concept of the pulling out and the way the rubber teeth sit compared to other models.
    Few questions:
Nice that you can place your alpine skis, but what about the sticks? (I assume your not buying new sticks nor putting them insite :P)
I see in the video that someone placed the rotating mounts pointing the same way. So to unluck it, you have to put the key in the inside. Why not rotate this so that the lock is facing the user? -| -| vs -| |- ( - representing the lock)
You have alpine skis, but what about cross country skies with sticks. How many can you fit, because you can't stack them like alpine skies?

Hello. Many users will load up both skis and ski poles, some even use ski carriers to transport fishing poles. Directions show to attach the crossbar mounting hardware as shown in the video. One could potentially experiment with the opposite side mounts in the reverse position for easier lock access. The clamping area is about 28 inches, to determine the capacity, lay out the skis and measure the total width. Thanks!
