- 11 Tips for beating Sigrun, the Valkyrie Queen, in God of War. I'll be showing you how to beat Sigrun, the hardest boss in the game. After defeating 8 different Valkyries you must fight the Valkyrie queen. Here are my tips for beating her.
My equipment:
Armor - Ivaldi's Cuirass of Endless Mist, Ivaldi's War Belt of Endless Mist, Ivaldi's Gauntlets of Endless Mist.
Enchantments - Eye of the Outer Realm, Ivaldi's Corrupted Mind, Andvari's Soul, Tyr's Shard, Heart of the Valkyrie, Eye of the Winged Chosen, Scale of the Mighty, Perfect Aspect of the Realm, Flawless Sign of the Realm.
Talisman - Sinmara's Cinder
Atreus Armor - Legendary Sharpshooter Garb
Leviathan Axe Runic Attacks - Tyr's Revenge, Frost Giant's Frenzy
Leviathan Axe Pommel - Valkyrie's Might
Blades of Chaos Runic Attacks - Nemean Crush, Hyperion Grapple
Blades of Chaos Pommel - Grips of the Valkyrie
Runic Summon - Wrath of the Wolf

When she puts her wings up like a turtle, double tap L1 and shield bash her. It breaks her guard and you get free attacks
It even says that in the skills menu. Idk why he never uses his shield
I think he knows that. I think he just doesn't risk missing ang getting hit himself. Plus after she attacks, she is open for attacks herself just like in the vid. It's just a safer alternative.

My rage level higher than kratos while dying 1000 times on this fucking valkyrie queen...
For anyone who still hasn’t beat her, Here’s the blueprint, first off, from beating the other valkyries you should already know most of the attacks being thrown at you because as sigrun’s the Valkyrie queen she’s literally a mix of every attack you’ve been hit with by the other 8 valkries, I can’t stress this enough learning the attack patterns is crucial to beating sigrun, any of her unblockable attacks just hit her with the axe to knock her out of the air, press L1 R1, light attack not heavy(takes too long to reach her) after knocking her out of the air don’t recall the axe straight away, run towards her as she’s now stunned, press L2 and R2 to do a jumping slam on her with the axe, do this when your right beside her, then use a runic to do extra damage, if you don’t have a runic attack just beat the shit out of her with R1 R2 attacks, R2 down for a charged heavy attack does a good amount of damage, be weary of doing this one as she may move, make sure she’s still stunned,
For any of her blockable attacks in the air or on foot, you must parry these attacks as it also stuns her giving you time to use a runic attack and inflict as much damage as possible, switch between the blades and axe if your runics aren’t charged on either, basically any attacks that have a red flash dodge and yellow you can parry, also she will close her wings and block so make sure you press L1 twice to break the block with your shield, then same again attack and use runics if they’re charged to do damage as she’s stunned, don’t become over aggressive when she’s stunned as she will recover and attack as soon as possible,
What worked for me is actually keeping a bit of distance from her and Kratos helps as you can see the attacks coming at you, knocking her out of the air is crucial on any unblockable attacks, she will dash towards you with two unblockable attacks, first is with her staff, this is always followed by another attack so just dodge both, then attack, second is the single wing attack, this attack is thrown by her following up with this attack after the spinning attack where she throws blades at you, she will dash to the side then dash towards you with the attack, it can be hard to dodge but eventually you’ll get the hang of it, some of the other Valkyries also used this attack so it shouldn’t be new to you,
For the ice attacks just block the small ones then she’ll throw a big one which will flash red, dodge that one, that basically covers the majority of her attacks, if I forgot some just use the same principle of dodging the red flash attacks and either parry or dodge yellow ones, yellow ones will break your block leaving you vulnerable to getting hit, which isn’t good because she does a shit load of damage, on any aerial red flashing attacks it’s crucial you knock her out of the air with the axe as the unblockable attacks do the most damage,
So for armour I used Ivaldi’s deadly mist set, chest wasn’t upgraded because haze weave is needed from niffilheim and is completely random and is just a pain in the ass to get, both the waist and gauntlets were fully upgraded, for pommels on the axe I used a fully upgraded surtr’s grip of flame, mainly because it grants you wrath of flame which increases the damage of your axe attacks by a good margin, for the blades I used the Valkyrie pommel, just because it’s the highest rated when fully upgraded,
For runic attacks I used, giants frost frenzy which does a lot of damage when fully upgraded, for the heavy axe runic attack i used blessings of the frost, powers up your axe and when combined with wrath of flame does even more damage which is of course a major win, this runic can be found during the campaign, or bought when you compete the story from brok and sindri, I missed it during the story so had to wait until I completed it, so I would advise waiting until you finish the story to fight sigrun, for blades runic attacks I used, nemean crush, rampage of the furies is also an option, I decided against it because it’s a long attack and there’s always the chance sigrun will move during the attack you will get hit and lose a good amount of health, for heavy runics I used Hyperion slam because no matter where she is you can run up and slam it on her, also has regular and fire damage, opted for it instead of hyperion grapple as Hyperion grapple can miss and boom there goes your runic attack, for talismans I used the one which recharges your runic attack as they’re crucial in this fight, unless you are actually Kratos in the flesh, you could use the talisman which creates a realm shift which slows sigrun down and gives you time to attack, i didn’t feel like I needed it so didn’t use it,
Depending on your skill level this boss fight will take a few tries, if it’s your first time then you will die many many times because you haven’t learned her attack pattern yet, the first time I played this game I was on give me a balanced experience and got destroyed hundreds of times, eventually had to bump the difficulty down to the easiest and still took me about 2 hours to beat her, 2 years later i played through the game again and beat her on my second try on give me a challenge, which took roughly 15 minutes, really comes down to learning all of Kratos’s attacks and using them at the right time, and learning the Valkyrie attacks also,
It will take some time and effort but, keep a cool head and remember you ARE THE GHOST OF BLOODY SPARTA, and your rage is endless, ps, if you do die during the fight use a berserker resurrection stone, and use rage when your health gets low, don’t even attack just pick up the health stones she drops when you damage her,
Now go fuck that bitch up✌️

Nice. I did it. I'll add something else. For me, focusing on runic, damage and cool down (especially) seemed to help a lot after I got the attack patterns down and was able to dodge and hit her with the runic attacks more often.
Keeping a cool head is so important during this fight,you have to have complete concentration all the way through because if you make one mistake you’re more or less dead.
Here's a tip, play a harder difficulty for the regular Valkyries. You can flatten them all on easy really quickly, but without learning attack patterns that are really helpful to know for Sigrun.

Lol some friends and I started a run on Give Me God Of War mode and it's rough to say the least.
Well... even in story mode this will be ended in a few seconds... press restart
Save your Spartan Rage until your health is really low as you will gain new health whilst using Spartan rage. Also make sure that Atreus has the resurrection stone that gives you full Spartan rage. I completed this with me being a high end level 8.
The enchantment recommendations definitely helped!! Thank you very much for this! I was able to beat her in about 5 tries after I added Speedy Evasion among a few others that helped with Frost and Fire attacks! Speedy Evasion was a game changer with her wing attacks!
It literally took me 5 hours of continuous play to finally kill her,the frustrating thing is how the attack patterns are so random each time,you have to just get lucky that when in a fight you get mostly the lighter slower attacks. But that moment you finally do it feels so sweet 😂
I always die when she has 2 healthbars
Dont worry about it dude, she gets extremely tanky at the end so that 1 bar feels like 3.
I got close to beating her on my 5th try! When I got her to 1 bar I unloaded 2 combos and she only lost an inch of that bar!!! Then she f@#%ed me lol
If only I knew she got sooo tanky in the end!

*HAVE MY OWN TIPS FOR BEATING ANY VALKYRIE:*
1. Equip a fully maxed out ‘Talisman of Unbound Potential’ as it let’s you reset your RUNIC attack’s and thus using them twice in a row.
2. Use both your own and Atreus’ RUNIC attacks from the onset of the battle to ensure the Valkyrie is not moving
3. Use the Axe - Equip the Wrath of the Frost Giant enchantment and Equip frost damage and Axe Throw enchantments is that Your RUNIC attack lasts a longer amount of time and does more damage
4. Equip the Valkyrie Waist gear as it has a HIGH perk to do additional RUNIC damage
5. Berserker Stone coupled with the enchantment which increases damage done with bare hands - if you need to be revived You’ll do more damage while putting hands on her.
That’s honestly all you need imho
and lastly just remember to throw your axe at her when she goes into the air and to hit her with your shield when she uses her wings to cover up
MikeyBizzle4Shizzle What I did is to use the the Realm Shift and go stupid with my runics and heavy hitting attacks. Then I was very aggressive and when my runics and talisman was able to be used again I did the same thing. If you ever fail to dodge just use Rage, hit her and then unrage [?]

My man thanks...I fought and died about 20 times fighting Sigrun with the Shattered Gauntlet of Ages and other runic attacks. Read your advice, purchased and upgraded the ToUP
equipping that Talisman of Unbound Potential (ToUP) did it for me. Along with changing the runic attacks for ones with max Stun (3 or more damage), and also having the Berserker resurrection stone. Dropped me to a Level 8 while fighting her, but who cares. Got that Platinum...

Health regenerates automatically with berserker stones. It’s more important to avoid getting hit as that depletes rage meter almost as fast as she does to health.
This is an okay guide, not bad on the way you did this fight and your tips were dope.
Her Flash move and the stomp jacks me up everytime
12. Use R3 to stay focused on enemy.
13. Collection health stones while close to Sigrun will slightly stun her.
14. When her winged guard is up, use L1 to break her guard for more opportunities to attack.
I'm still working on this fight, but if you haven't already, bind son's arrows to down on the mouse wheel. trust me, it's nutty how fast you can chuck them. it was a game changer for me.

Yea i really underutilized the shield in this game. I found myself dodging from the beginning and never really found myself blocking. But i also play on classic so it's easier to dodge

I'm getting closer to beating her thanks to this video , the extra burn damage and the blades runic abilities do a good amount of damage , utilising blade runic attacks and axe runic attacks is the way to go , I also have a enchantment that gives u resistance to the flashbang , blinding attack that she does, EDIT ---- I beat her thanks a bunch!
When she uses her wings as a shield in front of her you should use ur "Frost Giants Frenzy" on her cuz it will break her block and stun her. Just a tip :)

Better double tap L2. Because your runic attack won´t extend the full damage it has. Waisting a lot just for breaking the shield.
Or just double tap L1, she's just as same as other shield-wielding enemies.
Just double tapping L1 is a better method. Saves wasting the runic moves.

Whenever you hear any of them scream "valhallah" start dodging dont shoot arrows there is nothing you can do.

Tips that actually worked for me:
Before you even plan on facing her make sure you atleast have level 8-9 worth of upgrades. Use a decent armor.
1. Have powerful runic attacks (light and heavy) for both weapons.
2. Have Talisman of realms or something similar that would allow you to do realm shifts
3. Have a resurrection stone just in case
4. Observe Sigrun's pattern and understand them well.
5. When she rises up and there is a red circle emerging, it is an attack you cannot block using your shield. Throw your axe to stop that attack before it happens
6. Use Atreus wisely to annoy her constantly.
7. Parry her yellow circle attacks and dodge the red circle ones. Toggling rage mode on and off tends to stop her attacks.
8. Use runic attacks whenever available after cool down. Those are the ones that will quickly shave off her health bar

Why are people hating on Easy mode or those like me who play it that way. Let us play the way WE want to play. Many, many of us play on Easy. That’s our preference. Nobody cares what more you are playing in anyway.

Easy mode has no challenge in it, and hardcore gamers love the challenge. But if the easiest is what you like then you do you. Unfortunately hardcore gamers look down at that because they don’t understand. You enjoy just taking it easy and having fun, no shame in that, shouldn’t be any anyway. I play at the highest difficulty because it takes my mind off other things and for me it’s a lot of fun. Especially when it’s accomplished, OMG. I love it when I finally beat bosses that others thought were too difficult, like Sigrun on GMGOW. Anyway, you do you, don’t worry what anyone else thinks.

Good tips, but I find tyrs revenge and frenzy a little bit less usefull than leviathans wake and blessing of the frost (the buff). As will tyrs revenge has honestly a.wierdly high chance of missing leaving you with only fists and blades. And i found she can just ignore stun from frenzy sometimes, while blessing doesnt luck you into a animation giving you wiggle room
Yea i feel you, personally i enjoyed Tyr's Revenge cause it allowed me to catch my breath or keep attacking if i wanted to. But your's right, it's incredibly frustrating when you throw it and it just whiffs

Patience is key ... It's a long battle. If you played blood borne, nioh, or souls games .. apply that experience here.

i play on give me a challenge and i had a harder time with this boss than any dark souls/bloodborne boss.
This fight for me is at the same level as Nioh and Bloodborne boss fights and I finished those two
I beat every other Valkyrie first time I’ve tried Sigrun 5 times keep getting her to about 80%then dying
5 times? that is not that bad. I have tried more than 50 times!
Just break her damn shield man it gives you more window for attacks. Also when she side step to the left (right fron your point of view) she will use the unblockable thrust, so just dodge to your right. When she sidesteps to her right (left from your point of view) she will use the blockable wing attack so just block. This really helped me a lot along with the slowmo realm shift talisman

Sigrun, is the most challenging boss fight in God of War. This fight will put you through your paces, test the mettle of Kratos and Atreus, and see whether you’ve been learning the different movesets of all the Valkyries you’ve defeated along the way. Beating the Valkyrie Queen is no easy task, and should absolutely not be attempted with anything less than the best gear in the game
Guys enter the fight with full rage and always have a berserker resurrection stone (it will replenish all your rage when you resurrect) runic abilities are very important choose runic attacks that are not splash attacks take realm shift talismans it stops time and you can get many attacks off , when she puts up her wings and you can’t attack double press your L1 button to break her stance ,be patient with your attacks and lastly try to lock your screen on her by pressing L3
Ok guide but here are some way better tips on how to just counter her.
Double tap L1 to shield bash when she blocks with her wings, it will break her guard.
Anytime she is in the air she can be knocked down and stunned if you throw your axe at her.
You can quick turn or just face away from her when she does that annoying blinding attack and it won’t blind you.
When she throws the disks, the blockable ones not the two big ones, you can parry them with and it throws them back at her, it’s a skill for the shield but I’m assuming if your in this fight you already have that.
You didn't use the Infinity Gauntlets (Shattered Gauntlets of Age)? That missile attach is badass, and has some nice stun ability too it.
Finally beat her. No magic bullet but l had luck with talisman of the realms activating the realm shift after her close ranged attack and unloading two or three runic attacks. Easily the toughest boss in this game.
Great game, but making a Valkryie stronger than Baldur was a huge mistake.
The storyline’s fished in no time but have fun trying to do any of the miscellaneous quests with bosses like Sigrun.

One of the biggest things I had to conquer to win was to get out of the "it'll buff" mentality when using runic attacks or heavy frame heavy attacks when she attacks as well. This allowed me to preserve my health while making quick hits when she was recovering from attacks etc.
It's somewhat disconcerting because in almost all other combat encounters ,you are in the mentality of "take some damage to keep offense going" -especially with swarms of lower level enemies and even magni and modi-defensive play is not encouraged in my opinion,whereas this boss is almost akin to a Zelda boss fight,where the only time you can do any meaningful damage is when there is a "weak spot" or "recovery" opportunity available.

I know a lot of people are struggling with this fight. It's clearly an unfair fight so I think it's totally legit to use a trick and just rip her wings off. I beat her on New Game+ GMGOW difficulty using the following strategy: max out Zeus and Traveler's armors (preferably also Ivaldi's or Valkyrie to exploit runic at the beginning of the fight). Start the fight wearing an armor with high runic and immediately use a runic attack (I used wrath of the ancient enhanced with an enchantment), then follow up with Atreus' wolves runic attack. Pause the game, switch to Zeus and attack with combo. Use talisman of realms and inflict more damage. By now Sigrun should have lost about 1/4 of her energy bar. Switch to traveler's armor when you defend to limit the damage you take. Block, parry but above all dodge and activate time realm shift thanks to Kvasir enchantment. When time slows down switch to Zeus armor and demolish her. Back to Traveler's armor again when you are defending. Don't forget to use wrath of the ancient only once, then change it with hel's touch to stun her, switch to Zeus and hit!!! Use rage and the quickest runic attacks to interrupt her attacks and stun her (absolutely not runic with long animations) . You can also increase your chances by pausing the game and change not only armor but enchantments too. For example equip enchantments with high runic before the first runic attack, with strength when you hit with Zeus armor and with vitality when you are defending. Surely the fight won't be very natural, but hey, that b**** must die! It took me only a couple of attempts with this strategy. Dodging some of her attacks is not difficult at all. I hope this helps
I haven’t beaten her quite yet, but every time she takes flight, you can throw that leviathan axe to floor her. Also, there is a runic ability for the blades that increases health.
Big Stall Productions Yeah. Pretty much. I beat her on medium difficulty, took me a couple tries. Once I found out about the health runic for the blades, it was all down hill from there. Just a matter of dodging and throwing your axe at her until your runics reset for your blades.
Ik this is gonna get lost but after 3 hours of dying i found this video, i took my time and copied your gear, and i can say that after i did it i killed the valkyre first try, thank you brother
Never let her fly in and stomp you out, through the axe or dodge that or 2 or 3 times.
Use your shield to unblock her block guard.
Make sure you have a resurrection stone that gives you rage, and pick up as many health stones as you.
Use the Axe as its more powerful than your Blades
Make sure your Defence and Damage is high and your gear is at least level 7 or 8 etc
When she goes up in the sky, throw your axe to knock her down.
I used a special move that shoots a blue beam from distance at her.
Use Atreus strategically to stun her and hold square to do his special on her
I wish it wasn’t so hard. But at least I made it to Sigrun, and my friend said he’d help me out with it. And do it for me. No shame, in getting someone to beat it for you!

One thing I made sure of is keeping her shocked with Atreus since she seems to take more damage when affected with shock, Frost or fire.

Fully upgrade dwarfen gear, axe and blades. High damage runic attacks on both weapons. Go in with a full rage bar and berserk stone. Use rage when health is low then again straight away after you get resurrected. Spam with yellow arrows. And now the secret weapon.........use the magic item that slows time and fully upgrade it, should be able to get at least 3 runic attacks in while using this

The berserkers resurrection stone does give rage, but it’s not for sure gonna give you a lot of health, the blue one will, it’s much more useful because it’s health you know you’re gonna get (and lose immediately)
The axe is gonna be more useful because she has all the Valkyrie attacks so that includes the flying ones, most of the time if you throw your axe at her, it will negate her attack and it’ll deal more damage
Yes I am aware that the blades are really fun and it brings back memories from the og god of wars, but the axe is gonna help you a lot

I died like 50 times, but finally beaten her.
1. Use rage mode not to attack but to pickup health stones.
2. Use squirrel runic for atreus as it brings health stones for you
3. Use that armor for atreus where he throws health stones at you.
4. Use wrath of the frost ancient light runic attack for axe, on fully upgraded mode, it takes out a chunk of health of that bitch.
5. Use talisman of the realms (which slows down time) as often as you can
6. Dont go and charge your attacks, that was one of the biggest mistake I did in my first few tries. Instead keep a distance, block her moves, wait for your talisman to get recharged, slow down and bash her with runics
7. Use atreus arrows to distract her when she is in air and flashing red
For me what worked was a bit of skill and luck. During the last stage of her life she opened up many opportunities for me to attack, and luckily, my runics got recharged in time to finally deliver the finishing blow
Use direct, low recharge, and not long runic atacks, change weapons every time you need, for example when you already used your runics then use the other weapons runics, also use spartan rage defensively, like in dmc3, when you see that there comes an atack and you cant dodge it or parry it for any reason (being stagered by a previous hit for example) then use the spartan rage as when you transform it works as a parry to everything then throw like four to six punches and finally stop the spartan rage, that way you save a lot of the spartan bar, for the blind atack use the button to rotate 180 degrees and spam square (sometimes the kid stuns her before the atack), for the atack in which she dances with her weapon in the air, as it takes too much time use it to take a breath change weapons if you need then throw some arrows, dont throw your axe its unnecessary the kid can do it, when she covers herself with her wings guard break her pressing L1 two times then punish her, for atacks like the valhalla one (in wich she flies up to the sky then falls over yor head to kick you) that she likes to spam three or two times or when she dodges and atack you with her wing there is not a trick youll need to react properly and dodge fast, so yeah... git gud, every red atack can be dodge to any direction but some of her atacks are more punishing for dodging to the left or back so its better dodging to the right, also dont go desperate when you are about to kill her just keep doing the strats and all will be fine, also find a good talisman, the avengers gauntlet (allows you to have three more enchantment slots) or the slow time one are incredible, but more importantly, enjoy the fight, it is amazing, and reminds me the vergil boss fights from dmc3 as they work just the same, they do a lot of combos and then give you a little room to punish them, then they start to do combos again and the cicle continues until someone falls to the ground.
I have been tipped that when she air attacks I throw my axe at her to interrupt her attack but on gmgow my axe does nothing to her and when she does that blind without her staff, I can’t interrupt, block and evade this and I die

Yea I actually went through the entire game without breaking people's guard lol. I was so accustomed to the older GoW I just never did it. I dodged way more than I blocked.
If you really feel you cant beat her just search up talisman of betrayal. Worked for me

I've played all the sagas starting on the difficulties mode, and so I did with this game, once I reach to this boss I won't move on until I beat her
I defeated her in GMGOW and it was a pain, originally I was using a runic setup with sindris build but I wasn't dealing nearly enough damage with my melee attacks while wating for runic cooldowns so I decided to farm mist armor and change some runics, and I can tell you I had to memorize every single one of her attacks and not get caught lacking or else she'd kill me in just a few moves

I know its been a long time since this video was uploaded. But I wanted to share my experience of fighting valkeris and it's impact on my controller. Fighting all the 8 valkeris completely screwed up my dual shock 4 controller. My controller was working flawlessly before i started taking on these valkrie. By the time i reached valkeri queen kratos simply refused to sprint my block button along with other buttons would fail to respond from time to time. There would be times when kratos would continuously aim his axe. I had to tap L1 rotate my left analog stick like crazy to get it back to normal. My gear was inferior to what's being worn in the video. Yet it took me 5 to 6 attempts to kill valkeri queen. So those struggling with valkeri queen. Dont give up. Just keep at it and be patient. Don't be too aggressive with the valkeri queen. Learn to back off from time to time. Gather urself and plan ur next attack. Also invest in a perk that let's u doge further away. The only depressing part about platinuming god of war was that my ds4 controller became unusable.

On gmgow both arrows and and axe throws don’t interrupt shit. The only air attack it can interrupt is huge ground aoe. Disc throw, unblockable disc throw, mist and dive can be interrupted only with really fast runic attack.
Great tips, thanks! I have a few of my own to add:
1. It helps greatly if you equip Kratos with the Ivaldi armor set (chest armor, waist armor, and gauntlets), and fully upgrade it. The catch is that you'll have to do some serious grinding in both Muspelheim and Niflheim in order to get the resources needed for these. Very time-consuming and a bit frustrating, but worth it in the end.
2. Equip Atreus with the Legendary Runic Vestment armor. This allows Atreus to provide a health stone assist to Kratos. It's pretty sporadic and unpredictable, but it can make all the difference when there are no health stones nearby to safely acquire.
3. Speaking of Atreus, make sure he has the wolf summon active. Remember to fully upgrade it - the extra wolves help block some of Sigrun's attacks.
Just got her on gow difficulty... main take away is patience.... she staggers when she wants so I made it a longer fight bc I went at it defensively. The night b4 I threw patience by the way side and she jacked me up 5h straight.
Yea patience is key. It's gonna be a long fight regardless, i had to tell myself that many times. The worst is getting her down to a sliver and choking the fight
Yep did that like 4 times in that 5h binge where she pummeled me over and over; and occasionally I'd get her low but 90% could get her past half in those hours
just 5 hours?, I’ve been the whole week expending at least 4 hour at night getting my ass kicked by this bitch and my wife since I cant let her sleep with all my cursings hahaha
Finally best her today but she is a PITA. She mixes her attacks to make her kinda unpredictable.
double click L1 to create a shield shockwave which can disable her shielding wings and stun her for 1-2 seconds
Im level 6 and it took me around 3 hours but its done (first time playing a god of war game and im in love im buying gow ragnarok tomorrow)
Don’t rush take ur time while fighting Sigrun; that was my main problem . Press L1 to break her wings block and get some hits in without being interrupted.
No hate but frost giants frenzy is terrible for valkyries as they like to dart back only allowing you to get a couple hits in. I would use blessing of frost with realm shift but either way good job

To make the video short just dodge and use the same enchantments and armor as his and fully upgrade it also when she's stuned use the blades and when your low try to get your rage up and get the health back and although Boy can save you don't get lazy thinking oh he can save me I have 2 goes just try and save it till the end
I beat sigrun with these armor and pommels
1) Leviathan Axe (surtr grip of flame)(fully upgraded)
2) Blade of Chaos (grips of the valkyrie) (fully upgraded)
3) chest armor (ilvadi's pauldron of deadly mist) (level 7)
4) wrist armor (gauntlet of the valkyrie) (fully upgraded)
5) waist armor (smoldering brimstone battle belt) (fully upgraded)
I recommend this set to you who wanted to beat sigrun, good luck
if your on easy or or normal sigrun is not as hard as you think the only thing you got to worry about is the movements just watch a video from like i am a legend on her move set also shock arrows stun her more and damage her more

Best advice is equipping the Eye of the Wing enchantment.
I completed it before but in my ng+ play through I almost had her but I didn’t have any resurrection stones. After that it took so many more tries
So I have to say I have played the game 4 times. I beat the valkyrie queen once before but this time I could not beat her. But the enchantment eye of the winged chosen was what I was missing this time.... You sir are a true hero thank you for that. It was difference between night and day with her drop attacks
12th tip you can parry her when shes blocking with her wings by tapping l1
When the queen blocked like that I double tap my L1 and it breaks defence
