Love this. Good to find a good, young, true basketball historian. I can confirm everything you say because I watched NBA in the 60's and 70's. (As much as was possible in the days before big network contracts.) This is a classy video, and I'd love to see more like it. Im 47 and grew up idolizing MJ. The myth comes from recency bias i.e., we are getting bigger, faster and stronger with every generation. I began to question this because our food is designed to make us weak. Our culture is also designed to distrust one another. How can a weak society produce the best athletes? It cannot. America was a superior society during Bill Russell's era (food, health mentally and physically, values, moral behavor, etc.) I argue Bill and Wilt are the greatest athletes the NBA has ever seen. Not just them. The 60s and 70s era players were healthier and stronger than the players of the past 30 years. Healthy natural foods, less distractions, less BS, 2 parent homes, strong middle class black families and communities, good education, higher income, the list goes on and on. Players brought up like that are going to trust their teammates more and play the right way. Wilt played almost every minute of every game. The game was much faster because people were stronger and healthier. I saw a video of Bill Russell leading afast break and leap over a defender inside the free throw line, fly to the rim for a finger roll. That was a better display of physical feat than anything MJ has showed. It is a shame people don't care about history.

I died like 50 times, but finally beaten her. 1. Use rage mode not to attack but to pickup health stones. 2. Use squirrel runic for atreus as it brings health stones for you 3. Use that armor for atreus where he throws health stones at you. 4. Use wrath of the frost ancient light runic attack for axe, on fully upgraded mode, it takes out a chunk of health of that bitch. 5. Use talisman of the realms (which slows down time) as often as you can 6. Dont go and charge your attacks, that was one of the biggest mistake I did in my first few tries. Instead keep a distance, block her moves, wait for your talisman to get recharged, slow down and bash her with runics 7. Use atreus arrows to distract her when she is in air and flashing red For me what worked was a bit of skill and luck. During the last stage of her life she opened up many opportunities for me to attack, and luckily, my runics got recharged in time to finally deliver the finishing blow

Most teams had "enforcers", whose job was to play few minutes, but use them primarily to lay hard fouls on the opponent's best players. People should realize that there were fewer teams in the NBA back then too. So even if the overall talent pool was smaller, Wilt was playing against a quality big man (and often a Hall of Famer) every night.

Thank you, great video. Another myth is that the NBA (and the players) were slower back then. But the pace of the game was actually much faster than it is now, with more emphasis on the fast break. It's why Wilt could average 23 rebounds a game for his career, and over 25 a game some years -- there were a lot more shots to rebound.

The players today are so poor and make so little from their contracts that many have to start their own businesses and sell products on TV and online to make ends meet and support their families. 🤭😏

Tips that actually worked for me: Before you even plan on facing her make sure you atleast have level 8-9 worth of upgrades. Use a decent armor. 1. Have powerful runic attacks (light and heavy) for both weapons. 2. Have Talisman of realms or something similar that would allow you to do realm shifts 3. Have a resurrection stone just in case 4. Observe Sigrun's pattern and understand them well. 5. When she rises up and there is a red circle emerging, it is an attack you cannot block using your shield. Throw your axe to stop that attack before it happens 6. Use Atreus wisely to annoy her constantly. 7. Parry her yellow circle attacks and dodge the red circle ones. Toggling rage mode on and off tends to stop her attacks. 8. Use runic attacks whenever available after cool down. Those are the ones that will quickly shave off her health bar

Another thing: when Wilt had Hall of Fame teammates and good coaching, he won championships. Unfortunately for him, for most of his career he just didn't have those essential elements. Yet, he single-handedly, with average teammates and terrible coaching, still took the Celtics to four game sevens in the finals. Mind you, this is a Celtics team easily considered the greatest of all time with seven Hall of Famers, organizationally they were light years ahead of the rest of the Association. If Chamberlain was on that team instead of Russell, he would have won even more championships than the great Celtic himself. I have no doubt.

First of all let me just say I'm posting on my wife's account. I saw the last half of Wilts career, I was not a fan of the man, I respected Russell and Jabbar more but there's no doubt that Wilt is the greatest ever and it's not even close. Jordan is objectively not even in top 5. There are more reasons than I have time to list but here's something that most people don't know and it shows he wasn't a selfish player. When he finally had a good team around him his coach asked him to shoot less and get other players involved. He went on to become the first and only center to lead the league in assists. A center! Jordan was a guard but never came close to that. As a matter of fact, can you imagine what would have happened if Doug or Phil had ever asked that of Jordan? He would have had them fired.

60's basketball was much more physical, no 3 point line, all they do today is run up and down the court play no defense and shoot 3's. 3 point line has ruined the game.
