In a myth that I heard, Hephaestus returned to Mount Olympus(having been thrown off) with a golden throne for Hera. When Hera sat on it she found that she couldn’t get up. Hephaestus said he would release her if he was allowed back on Olympus and if Aphrodite married him.Aphrodite agreed since Hephaestus could keep her comfortable.

He is quite horrible and is the most chill with demigods in the series. Someone like Hades would've sworn to torture every demigod he met. Besides, Apollo offered unique villains, like the triumvirate. They don't fit for anyone else imho
@@adityabhalekar3506 That might be true, but Apollo isn't much better than his father, uncles and some or his aunts. He is just as much as much of a bully and/or tyrant as they are. As a mortal he might be halfway sympathetic, but those changes apparently didn't last for long. Zeus turned him into a mortal twice and this showed already that those punishments weren't very effective.
Also, there are so many other greek deities out there that would deserve some spotlight and not always the same 12.

Did anyone actually see that the main gods of Olympus especially the second generation are all the children of Zeus. I mean, we have triton and Persephone as well. Hestia is too important to leave her out. She is the reason we have hearth in our homes and hope among us.

I am a nanny and a 30 something goofball. I absolutely love reading Percy Jackson series with the eight and 10-year-old that I watch. We also listen to the audiobook and discuss our favorite characters and story plots and how the movies were different but also OK. Thank you for making these videos I can’t find the graphic novels so seeing the images of some of the gods is really helpful

I can't believe that until I read the percy jackson books I didn't realize that the roman gods and the greek gods were literally the same people they were just called by different names in the two regions. Like in the heroes of olympus series before I read them I was confused how Jason and Thalia could be related if Thalia was the daughter of Zeus and Jason was the son of Jupiter then I eventually realized the 2 gods were literally the same person. Lol I'm kinda dumb for not knowing this sooner.

Demeter is one of the most underrated goddesses despite being so important to the mythology of Greece. Hestia also, but she wasn’t as important as Demeter
