- Welcome back to another video! Percy Jackson is filled with awesome demigods with really cool powers, so I thought it would be interesting to try ranking them by power. Today we rank the top ten most powerful demigods in Percy Jackson! Spoiler warning for all Riordanverse books! Hope you enjoy!!
Please note that the human body is 70% water, most of which is in the blood. This means Percy could potentially blood-bend
That what I think with any character that can control water
atla bruh
Effective on mortals and demigods, but demigods should have some magic resistance. I don't know about monsters, but gods should be immune to blood bend as they have ichor and it's not related to water although it is also a liquid. But although some of these powers exist, one should take into account that would still consume more energy and that the target's magic resistance can make it fail, or if close enough you don't have the time to focus while avoiding enemy attack
he does in house of hades, i forget what goddess it was but annabeth was blinded and almost killed so percy got mad and tried to poison a goddess by bloodbending
@@haileyc-pq2wq did you even read it properly? He did't control the blood, he controled the pool of acid and he tries to drown Achlys using her tears.
What Percy showed in Tartarus is when he wants to, he can go just a dark as the rest of them. Percy can blood bend or possibly something more gruesome. Nico turning someone into a ghost was epic. Too bad it drained him completely and knocked him out. I fear if anything happens to Annabeth or Will, the world will have a real problem when they’re older.
Yes! I agree if something really bad happens to annabeth and will it’ll be chaos. And without Jason there too who can stop them? Imagine the strongest demigods go bonkers
or percy's mum that would literally be the end of the world
@@milesgranville270 haha yes
i always wondered if Percy could manipulate blood since its liquid
It should be noticed that Nico was extremely exhausted because he shadow travelled for days with little to no stop
"As a daughter of Athena, she can think fast." That's an understatement.
Calling Annabeth smart is like calling the Emperor of Mankind a "powerful psyker" - both statements are technically true, but they're doing an injustice to the actual scale of the thing.
@@valtersplume3726 In percy's right, he literally has had more smart and clever ideas than here in more dangerous situations.
@@darktriumvirate969 Nah, Percy's plans are ridiculously risky. Annie is the actual brains. No way, Percy has more smart and clever plans than her. He's at best on par with Reyna.
@@djaxeman2424 I also believe that since the entire first series is written from the perspective of Percy (who we know have a bad case of lower self esteem) he might understate how powerful he is and also how quickthinking he is. I am not saying that he is as booksmart as Annabeth but he seems to have more streetsmarts.
@@andreasbygge6842 Or a strategist like Reyna. I didn't say he was dumb. Just comparable to Reyna at best.
I feel like every single demigod who is a descendant of the big 3 (Zeus poesiden and hades) can easily grow massively in power at any time, because they have so much raw power it’s hard for them to control, so when they get experience extreme emotions they can do feats that make them Seem godlike, (Nico literally turning someone into a ghost and Percy causing a volcanic eruption)
Ya, I agree. What makes it even better is that Rick Riordan doesn't overuse their powers even though they have so much potential, so those few moments when they show their true powers are that much better.
Except piper, Piper was honestly ridiculously op even though she had just learned she was a demigod for just about 2 years, I have a personal theory that since Aphrodite was pretty much the only god who could control their Greek and Roman sides, she could bless piper with her powers constantly, like how reyna beat Orion when Bellona blessed her, so piper was actually kinda the mvp, I’m probably one of the few Percy Jackson fans who realize just how op piper is, sometimes I actually kinda get irritated at how strong she is, if I could pick any god to be a descendant of as long as it isn’t from the big 3, I’d either pick Hephaestus or Aphrodite because Leo’s fire is ridiculously powerful and piper is just broken
@@pikastudios2850 I wholeheartedly agree with you. Thats why I put Piper so high on the list. I think I put her in the top 3
If piper knew she was a Demi god at 12 i think she would either be sharing the 1 spot with Percy and Nico or be 1 herself
@@pjoworld her mom is ouranos daughter
its actually sad that Bianca died before really discovering her power
pls dont spoil. =(

I'd say Percy would come first place because water can heal him and give him strength, I don't think he gets tired by using water, in fact it gives him more power and he can control all liquids not only water, but Nico's shadow travel is energy consuming and makes him pass out if he over does it. Nico would be a close second to Percy
yes, but controlling liquids like river Styx makes him very tired
@@elizawetti I mean that is the river Styx though, Percy heals from water and it revitalizes him, so battling him in or near water would be a loss for any other demigod
True..imo 1.Percy 2.Hazel 3.Nico
Percy can get exhausted using water, there are a few instances of him sweating and growing weaker while doing BIG things with water. IIrc when he made the three typhoons in Last Olympian, Son of Posiedon, and whichever short story it was in Magicians and Demigods, it took a lot out of it.
Now, that's not to say he doesn't have immense endurance when using water, cause he does get power from it, but eventually he uses more than he gains.
So id also agree that Percy is stronger than Nico, cause Percy has on numerous occasions just, wrecked everything without breaking a sweat.
But also, itd be criminal to ignore protagonist syndrome, so yeah.
@@uthar101 that is storm though..yes he will get tired eventually but hes the most experienced in using his powers ans stretching limits..also he is the only one to be healed and energized by his domain
I feel like Reyna definitely needs a place on this list. She traveled to Europe by herself, fighting monsters along the way. She could lend an entire legion her strength while fighting alongside them. She’s pretty fierce.
ye me too, she's one of my favourite characters
i agree but we're talking about 'power'
She’s extremely powerful.
no but Octavian is more annoying
Im in love with her
I think in terms of raw versatility, Nico outclasses Percy by a bit, but in terms of raw combat capabilities, Percy outclasses Nico. I think the best way to see it, is that Nico is like a rogue, very dangerous, in the right circumstances, but mainly good for their ability to scout, maneuver in extreme places, and their ability to survive hardship through either completely avoiding it, or escaping it. Whereas Percy is more of a warrior/fighter. Good at scouting, maneuvering, and surviving, in the right circumstances, but far more likely to just outright kill the problem, than avoid or trick it.
Yeah, Nico is basically the perfect assassin. He can shadow travel and can speak with the dead, giving him almost unmatched mobility and information gathering abilities. On the other hand, Percy's abilities to control hurricanes and summon earthquakes can cause far more destruction then any other member of the 7.
@@aidanl6122 I think Jason would give him a run, he could maybe summon storms too if he had more time, probably not on the scale of Percy but still son of Zeus
@@saintedcat3140 Well, ok. Let's say that both Percy and Jason have to face off against Gaia's army in BoO alone. Percy could presumably direct a river into the army and wash them away. On the other hand, rain doesn't have the same destructive capabilities as a river, and summoning enough lightning to take on an entire army is something that I don't think Jason is capable of. For single target foes though, I think Jason could certainly give Percy a run for his money (and has a decent chance of surpassing him). That's why I specifically said 'destruction' as in destroying large areas. That being said, Percy's abilities are probably more environmentally based than Jason's. Jason can summon a storm just about anywhere, but Percy's powers are weakened quite a bit without a water source nearby.
@@aidanl6122 remember when Percy brought ocean's power from himself inside a volcano where there was no water anywhere near? He not only has water's power, which he can actually use to manipulate his opponents water too, he also has earthquakes power. In single battle, Percy is a better swordsman, was able to be equal to Jason while Piper was holding him back, when Jason had had 12 years of training and he had 1 year of training at best because he was not around all year. Jason is definitely strong, but Percy has better feats and then also has greater potential.
@@wardhanarora7934 @Wardhan Arora It does not matter that Percy is a better swordsman then Jason if Jason can just hit him with an oversized lightning blast. That being said, I'm just trying to be realistic here. Jason's powers can operate in a wider variety of places then Percy's and lightning can deal more single target damage then a river or a melee attack. Using the mount St. Helen's incident as a baseline doesn't work because those were not typical circumstances. First thing, Percy was in a volcano and thus aided by whatever geological energies were there. I doubt he could repeat such a feat in say, a desert. Second, that knocked Percy out for weeks and he almost never used that power again (the only time I can think off was in SoN, and he collapsed the glacier).Third, I am quite confident that Jason could pull off a similarly impressive feat if placed in the correct circumstances. In regards to blood bending, I generally refrain from using that a point as the only time it was even hinted at was were the few times he controlled poison. Assuming it was taken as possible, then yes. Using blood bending, Percy would beat any mortal opponent into the ground so hard it wouldn't even be funny. Generally, yes I think Percy would beat Jason (under the stipulation that Percy can reflect lightning off Riptide, otherwise I think Jason takes it 9/10) but that does not discount that Jason is an incredibly adept fighter that would probably only place second to Nico and Percy (and possibly Piper and Hazel, but their power sets are kind of specific and somewhat easy to counter with a little preparation and/or luck so I would generally place them below Nico, Percy, and Jason).
I'm not sure how much I agree with the top two. Nico is extremely strong in his own right but like The Son of Neptune says, "Until that morning, her brother Nico had been the most powerful demigod she knew. The others at camp Jupiter saw him as a traveling oddball, about as harmless as the fauns. Hazel knew better. She hadn't grown up with Nico, hadn't even known him very long. But she knew Nico was more dangerous than Reyna, or Octavian, or maybe even Jason. Then she'd met Percy." This is at the start of chapter 5 on page 61. This may just be her opinion but Hazel knew them better than we do and it does show that Percy is ridiculously strong. I think that Percy is slightly stronger.
while nico is VERY strong, only 14, and when we see all his powers and fighting ability, he is at his WORST, i still think percy may be stronger. purely by physical strength, percy is taller and probably stronger. he is many years older than nico. however, i do think nico could potentially beat percy in a fight, and that they would have the most interesting, cool, and fun fights/spares.
@@isabellafortune1705 same, I also feel that if Nico was to train his powers more to the point where his drawbacks aren’t near death, that he would be of equal strength of Percy, if not even stronger than him.
@@isabellafortune1705 Yeah we should consider that he was starved, exhausted, and immatured back then. After all, nico even blocked Kronos when he was twelve years old.
@@isabellafortune1705 tbh , if they fought percy wud blood bend before nico could do anything
@@cloudyprince9286 bro, all of them need to train, if you’re giving Nico the “train his powers until he’s mastered them treatment,” then give Percy the same treatment too, because the intricate focused waterbending from ATLA coupled with the raw power he has would make him a powerhouse. Same thing with Nico’s geokinesis. If Nico does what you say and trains his abilities, he would be equal to or stronger to current Percy who doesn’t train his abilities and just grow powerful with age, if they both train, Percy keeps the advantage.
6:10 I agree but 2 reasons why I think Nico survived Tartaurus alone 1.) He is a child of Hades so this was just a more deadly version of his home turf 2.) he was captured by Gaea's forces keeping him alive. Even if Percy hadn't had Annabeth he would have survived would just be Dark Percy.
Good point!
@@pjoworld one thing also is Nico wouldn’t have survived if he wasn’t taken as bait for them to be rescued. Meanwhile though Percy did have help from annabeth, bob and the giant this was against Tartarus. So in my opinion Percy is more powerful. Also thank you for being a good sport about this
@@samstumpf637 the thing with that is the fact that children of hades naturally see tartarus for what it is but Percy is a son of Poseidon which means that he shouldn't be able to see it for what it is but in the house of Hades book it said that he was able to comprehend what tartarus actually was which was the same thing as seeing a gods true form just without the fancy light show so it would technically be worse for Percy in that case
Percy can also control lightning in a storm as he did in the last olympian. Yes nico survived tartarus but he was captured not long after he entered tartarus. But what percy did nico wouldn't have been able to do it in tartarus. And they meet way more dangerous people in tartarus.
@@benjamindada638 I agree
Reading through the comments everyone seems to be comparing percy and nico solely on the basis of strength and prowess.
I thought I would take a moment to remind everyone just how smart Percy really is. He is a clever leader and has even solved problems before Annabeth herself found an answer. In the Sea of monsters, he Iris messages Mr D to prove Chiron's innocence and in The Mark of Athena, he singlehandedly outsmarts a whole ship of pirates without using his combat prowess at all. Percy's power in extreme but like Hazel realised in the Son of Neptune, you should NEVER underestimate the cleverness of Percy.
In the Titan's Curse, 2 Hunters, Thalia and Grover struggled to kill the monster but it came down to Percy using his intelligence to win.
Literally in every book, Percy has time and again showed us that he can think far outside of the box when the situation arises.
I even remember him disintegrating one of his Blue giant half brothers who could heal any injury because his mom was Gaia, He defeated a monster with three hearts, A giant Crab by remembering its weakspot, the list just goes on.
Add to this he is a very inspirational leader and in the Son of Neptune he tells Frank that he realised Franks intentions to keep the vials of the gorgons was so that they could save the wounded. When in reality, Frank kept it for his own reasons. He is a quick thinker, a strong leader, compassionate and kind.
Just raw godly power doesn't define a character. How well they survive when all the odds are against them also matters in the true comparison.
Personally I feel Percy is the strongest character by a mile to Nico just because of his experience, his ability to outsmart his opponents and need I say it, the fact that he is the most powerful demigod in existence.
Also the pink flying pig in The last olympian who was never defeated by anyone. Percy literally defeated it with a bunch of statues which was wayy too out of the box
Nico is smarter than percy the titans and giants were beat because of him percy would have been killed by Kronos or the giants Or gaia if it wasn't for nico also nico can turn people into ghosts easily
@@db4517 No he can't turn people into ghosts easily, he literally fell into shadows for days and was not allowed to use any of his powers in fear of him dying.
Secondly the whole giants and titans thing I don't even get what you're trying to say.
But to each his own opinion ig
@@joshuarajesh2681 he can still turn people into ghosts whenever he wants he will just be exhausted afterward as for the titans and gian the curse of achilles and the statue of athena were thanks to nico and without them percy would be dead also percy only survived tarturus because of bob who only came because of nico did you even read the books
@@db4517 Nico can't turn just about anyone into ghosts. Did you read the books? Don't condescend someone when they are just stating an opinion.
Maybe you should remember that the only person nico turned into a ghost was a legacy of a God who wasn't even that strong. And FYI He was only able to do that for two reasons, firstly Reyna transferred her strength and willpower to him. Secondly even though they were in territory where Bryce's father was more powerful, Hades had power over criminals who went unpunished and Hades gave him the strength to do that. If you read the books, Hades meets nico in a Chapel just prior to this.
Lastly I compared Percy and Nico based on Wit. That was the difference in my comparison to every other. You are just repeating what everyone else is saying.
Please respond with respect or don't bother responding. Have a good day.
it's also worth noting that Nico is still a year younger than Percy was by the time he really figured out his powers, so there could be a massive power upgrade in store for Nico in the solangelo book
Percy is definitely the most powerful demigod he’s single handedly fought giants, titans, minor and major God’s and primordials (akylls) and won as well as crazy displays of power like Mount St. Helens. Nico never fought any of these or a powerful monster like the minotor or something I think the closest was lycaon but he’s done impressive things with his powers like the Athena parthenos and Bryce. I’d say he’s more on par with Jason and hazel who have both single handedly defeated a titan and giants. I think Percy would beat him considering nico has actually had more training for his powers. Minos taught him how to use them and he said he trained with the dead while Percy trained only three summers and had no one to teach him how to use his powers. Also nicos most powerful move is turning someone into a ghost but only if they have a low aura and almost dies and Bryce was only a legacy whilst Percy took control of a primordials domain and almost killed her. Both of these feats were done when they were both utterly exhausted yet Percy almost killed one of the eldest primordial whilst nico killed a legacy. Nico can only use that power on mortals or low level legacy whereas Percy can control bodily fluids ( tears maybe blood) of anyone even gods. Whilst nico is extremely powerful I’d say Percy’s on another level I mean he’s practically a god
@∂υѕкυиℓιмιт3∂ Percy doesnt have the achilles heal anymore
Actually, you're giving percy too much credit.
He fought Akylis and won, sure, but that was only because Akylis's main attack was poison fluid, something that Percy was able to control. Had Akylis actually had a proper attack like hand-to-hand fighting, she would have easily won.
With all the major/minor gods he's fought he's had someone's help. With Hyperion he had the Satyrs help, with Hades he had his Achilles heel, with Kronos he only lived because Luke's soul wasn't gone.
Overall, it depends on the location, situation and other factors. Take him away from his territory (the sea) and put him in the Underworld, and Nico would easily beat him. Do the same from Nico and put him up near the ocean, Percy would win.
Also, Percy's bodily fluid power wouldn't be used on Nico unless he was like, super, SUPER angry like he was with Akylis, since he is a hero.
If a Percy v Nico showdown happened, it really varies who would win.
@@invictuscalix4112 Dude. You're trying to down play Percy's win against Akhyls. But you have got to remember, poison is part of Akhyls' domain. Percy literally beat a goddess at her own game where she is strongest. That's impressive.
And are you sure Nico would win even in the Underworld? Percy would be able to control the Underworld rivers and use them to his full advantage. These rivers are incredibly harmful. Just a splash of the Lethe and Nico would lose his memory. A splash of the Styx and Nico would be a steaming pile of acid. A splash of the phlegethon and same thing as the Styx. You get the idea. And Percy has taken down hordes of undead soldiers before, even without the Curse of Achilles. In the Underworld, I'd say that it would be a tie, or a very hard victory for Nico. Anywhere else, and Percy takes it every time.
Besides, Nico got captured in Tartarus. It's not like he fought his way out. Sure he went through the same psychological stuff as Percy and Annabeth, but he didn't face the same physical hardships, as he was a prisoner basically the entire time. He didn't have to fight anything down there.
@@en4833 Ok, fine, Percy is indeed strong as hell thus he won against Akhlys. But if Akhlys wasn't trying to kill them slowly and absorb the pain, he'd be dead in mere seconds.
Nico would win easily in SPECIFIC terrain in the underworld. A part with no rivers which I'm sure there are plenty of. Also, Nico is QUICK, he isn't some overweight cyclops, he's someone who survived on his own for 2 years in the overworld. Yes, It would be a hard win overworld but it could still happen. Also, I don't know if Percy can beat a legion of undead all on his own while he's trapped inside a cage made of strong ribs and undead bones.
Also, Nico had much more pain in Tartarus then Percy. He went in alone and the most horrible stuff on his own with no guarantee of help. He couldn't have fought his way out against like, a million monsters. Percy had a Titan, Annabeth and his OP-pls-dont-nerf Poseidon powers.
@@invictuscalix4112
You're saying that Nico is quick. Sure, but Percy is a lot quicker. This is the guy who deflected a bullet going 750 miles per hour, fired from 2 meters away, when he was 14. And he's a lot older and more powerful now. Nico has never been seen doing anything at that kind of speed.
It isn't even proven that Nico gets a power boost while in the Underworld. He might, but we have zero evidence that he does. On top of that, Percy jumped a 20 yard chasm with Annabeth on his back in Tartarus. I don't think being in the Underworld would hinder him at all.
Sure, Nico went through Tartarus without help, but he was captured and imprisoned for about 75% of it. and he went into a death trance when imprisoned. So he didn't get the full Tartarus experience. And what did you say about Percy not going through as much pain? Percy took on like 100 curses at once while fighting off the Arai. He had a hole through his chest from the Geryon curse and kept fighting. Percy is very well acquainted with pain.
How did you get the idea that Akhyls was prolonging their death to absorb their pain? During their fight, she was going all out trying to kill them. I didn't see any savoring going on. Sure, once she busted out the poison she might have slowed down, but Percy overpowering her was a feat of pure power. It wouldn't have been any different if she had gone straight for the kill. It wasn't as if he beat her by tricking her or surprising her in any way. She had time to fight back once he started taking control of the poison.
"a cage made of strong ribs and undead bones" Riptide cuts through that like a knife through hot butter. And Percy has already defeated an undead army. Twice. Granted, the first was using the Curse of Achilles, and the second was in a place where he could create a hurricane easily, but the point still stands. Percy would 100% be able to handle a small army of skeletons.
I agree with piper, it’s funny how many see her as weak🤣 Like charm speak is terrifying af
I totally agree. Children of Aphrodite are so underrated!
I would not take piper in a fight, she is more powerful than she gets credit for.
piper: hey can you fall on your sword-
Yes she literally resurrects Jason at the end of the lost hero, when hera blows up every monster and jason with them
Fr, as an enemy she would be just s c a r y
Like, Percy or Nico can be super powerful, but she can just say “jump off that cliff” so like- yeah, that’s pretty darn powerful
You forgot about something Percy took on the Giant that have the capability to kill Poseidon pretty much alone and beat him
Nope he was been helped by a god ( the gard god )
@@adamsardina9377 and that help came from Percy picking up the God's head and turning it into a bludgeon weapon that God did not do one thing on his own
As I got older I realized just how badass Percy was, like jfc
I honestly feel like there is potential on CZcams for a Percy Jackson channel. There is already a big audience but nobody making content on it. Definitely by the time the Disney show comes out, there will be more channels and it will be bigger than ever. Love your work man
Thanks so much! The whole reason i started this channel is because I wanted to watch pjo vids, but nobody posted them.
I think I agree. It's important to know that Percy isn't just known for being a powerful demigod, but he was also known to be an extremely skilled warrior with masterful expertise in melee-combat, particularly as a swordsman. I do think that Nico does outdo Percy by a bit in terms of raw power and versatility ability-wise, but I also believe Percy outdoes Nico in terms of combat prowess, and physical prowess, being much tougher, faster, stronger, and more nimble than he is. I would say they are more or less equal in terms of mental fortitude and willpower.
Percy's powers while definitely more destructive in nature than Nico's own abilities, the latter's powers are just too deadly and efficient. The man managed to turn a demigod into a ghost, while it of course required a bit of concentration he still managed to pull that off nonetheless. Any demigod who lets their guard down, will fall at the hands of Nico.
If we let Nico do Ghosting then we should also let Percy do Blood bending. Percy takes it hands down if it comes to that.
saying this again, bloodbending bloodbending bloodbending.
Yeah but the fact that Nico gets tired of using his powers and has to eat ambrosia and nectar to replenish his strength while Percy can use water to heal and I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure he doesn't get tired from using his water powers unless it's a huge use of it, so controlling small amounts of water while simultaneously healing and replenishing said strength with water gives him a leg up in terms of power ability, add to that with combat ability and I think Percy comes first with Nico as a very close second.
So could Percy control blood? Or ichor? I think ichor (sorry if I spelled it wrong) is a liquid. If so, Zeus you need to get your act together and show Persassy some respect.
He actually did control blood in nyix and made it boil along with poison in the second to last book in the hero's of Olympus series.
Not sure if he can control liquid think it has to contain some kind of water.
he very much can control ichor or blood .
@@100jsj6 No, i believe he could control blood but not ichor. The point is he would never control blood or blood bend as some people call it, that would just be wrong, like how he controlled posion. And ichor probably doesnt contain water. But who knows its godly so may not be able to, his father isnt the god of all liquids just the sea.
@@abigailthatcher3293 no he only controlled the posion. He may of only been able to do that because he was in tatarus the laws of powers and everything are different there.
I swear Percy is way too OP...
Imagine if he would learn to bloodbend or to get water from places you wouldn‘t think of like plants or even clouds. That would be way too op. And also if he kept the curse of achilles. They had to take it from him even with a dumb reason (imo) because otherwise he would be waaay too strong
@@lenrohohle2132 Yeah but he’s still already op
@@lenrohohle2132 I honestly don't think it's a dumb reason. It makes sense a Greek curse wouldn't survive the crossing of the Tiber River-a river belonging to a Roman god-being that they were enemies of the Greeks.
@@lenrohohle2132 He wouldn't be waaaay too strong, he would be unbeatable. Look at his feats after getting it. Manipulating River of Styx itself, destroying Hades army and nearly killing Hades himself in seconds. Invoked mini hurricane around him and went mano to mano against Hyperion and stalled him long enough for Grover and the spirits to seal him off, and ofcourse going against Kronos several times. He was the reason why CHB lost sixteen members and Titan army hundreds. He would destroy it. Though Percy with the Curse inside Tartarus? Now that would be a treat.
Percy is the most powerful by far, he can create hurricanes, and he defeated a titan.
Multiple
So did Jason
With hand to hand combat mind you

ik thats what i was thinken
Ye good to know I'm not the only person who read all of trails of apollo
True
Like nico and percy have once gone full dark, jason probably can too. He might be able to send electrical impulses to the brain potentially making him able to kind of mind control others or send a voltage directly to the heart in a milli second
Not just that, since electrons have electrical charge, he could potentially do tons of other things with the human body since so many functions rely on electrons, like cellular respiration, and all elements in the periodic table have electric charge, albeit some have more than others, so he could use those as a power source of sorts.
I feel like Hecate's children are also OP. Like Alabaster, he has Mystiokinesis, he is capable of performing powerful spells, he can inscribe runes of power on his clothes for protection, he crafted numerous enchantments for himself, including multiple defensive barriers around his place of residence, he can remove the spells from another person, he can track another person, he can control the Mist. He can also use the mist to create illusions, create false memories, hide locations, hide objects, influence mortal's minds and he can also teleport using the Mist. Lou also have pretty much similar powers as him, not to mention she literally turned legionnaires into piglets.
I feel like Piper is in a good spot because has time went on and she experienced more emotional things. She grew stronger and stronger!
I feel what makes percy a little bit stronger is his bravery, and he could possible suffocate anyone on their own saliva, blood, pee, heck even water while they are drinking
"Even strength has to bow down to wisdom sometimes" - Annabeth Chase, The Lightning Thief
This is why I think Percy is unstoppable when paired up with Annabeth. They balance each other so perfectly.
I don't think Annabeth cracks top 10. Sure she's smart but Percy says shes "the deadliest demigod he knows" not the most powerful. She is really good at coming up with plans, strategies and even traps. She would be really useful in something like a war like in The last Olympian where she can plan and come up with strategies. She is really good at stalling for time and making use of her surroundings but when it comes to raw power she just doesn't have it. Anyone on this list including those below her could easily take her in a fight in my opinion. Also I do not believe that Nico should be as high up as he is. He didn't really survive Tartarus on his own, no one was trying to kill him the giants goal was to capture him and use him as bait. As for his other skills I do not believe he ever had the ability to cause rocks to levitate. He also has a hard time controlling his powers and in the 5th books of the first series we see his powers take tremendous tolls on him causing him to faint and even start fading to a shadow. I think he still is in the top 10 but a should be lower. Otherwise (excluding Franks placement) I agree with the list and really enjoyed the vid. Looking forward to the updated one.
Exactly. Everyone always says that Nico went through Tartarus alone, but he didn't he was carried through it as a prisoner. He didn't have to fight his way through it like Percy and Annabeth.
i really agree why you put piper higher on the ladder, as a son of aphrodite i really think people under estimate us btw nice vid really luved it.
Thanks so much!
Nico is dangerous and versatile but when it comes to raw destructive ability, Percy hasn't ever even shown NEAR his true potential. He can shake the Earth and create devastating Hurricanes and Tsunamis if he wanted. I genuinely think he alone could wipe out the entire eastern US within a day. Plus his feats where he has thrown hands with Gods and Titans (at the age of 12 nonetheless)
Nico was literally a child compared to Percy when he was in the books plus Nico doesn’t have much control of his powers
Didn’t he hold up the weight of the sky?
Yeah, Percy was pulling off feats that should’ve killed mortals. Case in point being where he held the sky for Artemis to get Atlas back under the sky. He held the weight of the sky for 2-5 minutes all the while where he didn’t have the titans curse to help him
@@morgansinn3820 Yeah, but that was a test of willpower, not physical strength.
That's an exaggeration. He definitely could not take out the entire eastern US within a day. Him and Jason put together only made a massive hurricane. Sure, its impressive, but taking out the entire eastern US in a day is an Olympian level feat.
LOVE IT!!!!!!! Please do more AWESOME videos like this!!!!!
I ranked the top 10 most powerful Olympian’s if u wanna check that video out
Bro this was so entertaining keep making more
Thanks! I’m gonna make an updated version of this video because I hadn’t read all the book when I made it.
Nice video!!
Thanks!
I'm so glad Hazel made the list. She deserves more attention
Hazel is underrated for sure
This is just beautiful I love it
But like Piper 3rd I don’t think so.. maybe though
When I made this video, I hadn't read all the Trials of Apollo books, so I didn't know things like Frank doesn't have his firewood anymore. Also, looking back, I disagree with a lot of my choices here lol, so I'm going to be making an updated version of this video sometime soon!
If youre looking for a place to interact with PJO fans, check out my discord server - discord.gg/pxtv7TyJkF
FYI, Percy did use his earthquake powers on accident which is how he really blew up Mount St. Helens in The Battle of the Labyrinth, unleashing Typhon. Just thought you should know this to take in account on the updated version.
I feel like Will Solace should be on the list. When you think about it, Will has more powers than most of the people on the list. He can heal, shoot a bow bow arrow, glow like a flashlight, has the whistle thing that can hurt/stun monsters, and some sort of mystic power that caused people to stop everything when he yelled in the last book of Trails of Apollo. Most people don't think of him because we haven't seen him much, but when we have, it's almost always a display of his powers
Don’t forget Jason grace can control wind spirits as well
I feel like Hazel should be the highest though Percy/Nico are powerful Percy powers are useless without water, not counting the one time he summoned water, and Nico can’t use his powers that often since the trip on top of that Hazel didn’t just manipulate the mist she did magic and with the right tracing she could probably take out both of them, like if she wasn’t holding back like she seems to do constantly. Sry for the long comment but at least you put her at second
i like ur choice of nico first :)
I appeared in suggestions, and I saw the video and I loved it, I really loved it. I love the channel, also so I will practice my listening

Awesome! Thank you!
I love the fact that you picked up speed and sounded more excited when you spoke about Nico, it was adorable!
What can I say…I LOVE Nico!
@@pjoworld Completely relatable, Neeks is my favourite character!
A fact everyone forgets is that Magnus can unknowingly read minds while healing fatal wounds
Considering that frank doesnt have the weaknes with that piece of wood anymore since the 4. Book of trials of apollo he should be ranked higher
Ok real quick I do say Magnus is fairly powerful but wouldn’t Alex be considered more powerful than him because he/she can 1 actually fight (Magnus is a healer it’s Jack who fights) and 2 shapeshift into literally anything (including other people as he/she did in the second book into Sam) and 3 has silver tongue which is pretty much charm speak 4 is also an enhinjar (like Magnus) 5 his/her weapon is a blessed garrote from Thor’s wife I’m blanking on her name and that’s what I can think of off the top of my head (they also beat Magnus in a fight as one of the first things they do)
Percy is definitely stronger than Nico. He has way more destructive potential, I mean a demigod with the power to wake up Typhon? That is on a whole new level. On the other hand I would place Hazel way lower: Yes she can use the Mist, but it would go to waste against a god level enemy and I think someone like Luke would be able to defeat her. Same goes for Piper: Her Charmspeak requires the victim to be attracted to her in some way and again, I think someone like Luke would be able to break through it. On the other hand, if characters from other Riordanverse novels can be included like Magnus, I would totally think that Zia with the power of Ra or even just Sadie would be able to fuck Leo up.
Soooooo you said luke was an exemple because he wasn't attracted by piper but is khionee attracted by piper? Not really and she can still control her... She controlles gaia so i think she's pretty op. As for hazel she's a daughter of big three so she can beat up luke no problem( if you don't talk about kronos in like's form because this...this sucks)
Piper also charmspoke robot dragon, Though Percy woke Typhon, Hazel could completely revive Alcyoneus. None of the egyptian books were demigods and it wouldn't be a fair comparison, it should be magician v demigod not magician plus god v demigod. Leo is pretty powerful tho, one sided beat down khione and end of Blood of Olympus Leo was insane.
@@ori4192 hazel slowly raised gems from earth and gaia was the one to revive him over time..while typhoon freeing was one destructive volcanic eruption
I like that you put Nico and Percy in 1st place cuz really we will never know who is stronger their feats are just to numerous and equal to the heros of old I see this new generation of demigods as stronger more capable heros then Heracles or the original Perceus I mean I would say Percy can and has completely most of Heracles's labors he's already out shined his namesake but Nico has also been taught by ghosts how to use his abilities in terms of skill I would give it to Nico in terms of experience and physical strength Percy there is just no right answer they will constantly be chasing each other
I agree with you. And it is important to consider that actually, we can't really know all of Nico's capabilities and strength because we don't focus on him as much as Percy. It is not shown often (like his beginnings in this world to start with, and until several books) so obviously he can seem not as strong as Percy at all, and our perception can be biased. But from what we know and what is reported in the books, his potential is considerable.
Here's the thing, I think that Percy is in 1st with Nico a very close second. I say this because one, Nico gets tired each time he uses his powers, while I'm pretty sure Percy doesn't, and even if he does he can simply pour a bit of water on his head and he's both replenished and stronger too, two, Percy is more skilled in melee combat, so if powers were not allowed he'd hands-down win in a fight, and three, Percy is just smarter. People meme that's Percy's stupid, but the isn't, he's quick on his feet and very witty, just a couple examples are the Pink Sow in TLO, in SOM he is able to prove Chiron's innocence by baiting Luke to admit to poisoning the tree right in front of an Iris message, in BOL he beat a half-brother of his who would heal from just being on the ground by figuring out he had to get him in the air, he figured out how to kill a monster with 3 hearts, he was able to kill a giant crap by deducing what it's weak spot was, etc., etc. To be honest, Percy is one of the smartest and wittiest demigods on this list, combine all these factors and I think that Nico is just a bit overmatched
Nicos feats?
I think it is worth mentioning that Frank Zhang isn't tied to the piece of wood anymore. When apollo became a human, in the forth book, Frank's wood burned and he still lived
1 Percy Jackson
2 Nico di Angelo
3 Jason
4 Leo Valdez
5 Magnus Chase
Ok why do people always make Percy Top??? And Nico below? Nico can bring instant death if he really went insane!!! That's literally broken?! And Piper... Omg she is soooo strong and not a Mary Sue as people call her!!!! And Jason is so trained and experienced!!! He was trained by the age if TWO!!!!
@@asifjafry I don’t think Nico’s instant death can work on anyone. I think it works more like Dare Devil’s repentance stare where it only works if you’ve committed grave sins. So for Nico it should only work if you did something very bad and are doomed for the Fields of Punishment or Asphodel. In Bryce’s case, he murdered one of his superiors.
@@k.legendk.legend2712 i mean i don’t see why it couldn’t work on everyone tbh
@@k.legendk.legend2712 We don't really know if that's how it works. I assumed after reading it that he could do that to anyone, but we'll probably never know since he would never try that on anyone who didn't really deserve it.
I'm not gonna lie, I feel like the demigod children of the Big Three are powerful, but in the wrong order. Children of Zeus, at least power-wise, are the weakest, with only lightning and Wind powers. Next is Poseidon's kids, who have all sorts of quirks like water powers, water breathing, water healing, talking to equine animals, talking to sea animals etc. The children of Hades take the cake though. They have a control over the earth and precious metals and gems, as seen in Hazel, they can easily defeat spartoi, which are notoriously hard to kill, they can control Lares and Ghosts, they can teleport, they can control shadows, they can summon and control the walls of Erebus, they can go into the death trance, they can safely handle stygian Iron, they can create chasms that plunge into the underworld, they can summon the dead, Nico once TURNS A LIVING BREATHING PERSON INTO A VOICELESS GHOST AND BANISHES HIM TO THE FIELDS OF ASPHODEL, so yeah. The children of Demeter have the potential to be very powerful as well, since she is the only other original Olympian other than the Big three who can have demigod Children, but because of her domain her children dont often have a lot of powers
Percy is the powerful for me, its just thwt he doesn't explore his power much and he only use his power's potential when he's in life and death situation or overwhelm with emotion. A good example of it is when percy explode his power in mount helen freeing a centuries years imprisoned enemy of the gods, another one is when he fights monster like facing a horde of dead roman legionaire while defending the roman's eagle, but his more powerful and probably scariest point of his power is when he and annabeth is in tartarus and literally use a poison to torture the literal primordial goddess of misery and poison. Imagine what he can do if he focus his power and control the human's blood causing them to explode
Ok, here are my reasons that Percy is the most powerful instead of Nico (this is an opinion dont come after me)
1. His sword fighting skills
yes, Luke may have been better, but Percy is an incredible swordsman and these skills have kept him alive multiple times.
2. He literally torchered a goddess
In tartarus he controlled poison and straight up started torchering a goddess that was attempting to kill him and Annabeth
3. His water power
He can breathe underwater, control water, talk to horses, summon sea animals, etc etc. This is just what he is really known for honestly and being able to control water can come with bonus perks if you find the loopholes and try. Technically he could control rain water as long as it came from the ocean. He could make a hurricane (which he did). He could create water spouts, and even blood bend if he really tried. The human body is 70% water soooooo
4. He fought and won a fight with a Ares. When. He. Was. 12.
yea this just speaks for itself, he had just discovered his powers as well so that is just incredible and just started CHB training.
5. E a r t h q u a k e s
yea this is in the video
6. He can really be intelligent if he thinks
Percy came up with multiple things during the books that were really quick witted. (When he touched the water in Capture the Flag, when he fought Ares and used the water to his advantage, events in Tartarus as well.)
7. Saved the world twice and killed many monsters
self explanatory
so yea these are my reasons if any of ya'll have input just reply
its 2 in the morning dont judge my grammar
Personally, I think that Leo Valdez is underrated. He managed to kill Gaia, I know that it was a weakened Gaia because it was in the air, and it did kill him, but it took multiple Titans to kill Ouranos, under similar circumstances.
I completely agree with you. I’m making a video where I rank the top 20 most powerful demigods, and I put Leo pretty high on the list. His fire powers, plus his mechanic and forgery powers, plus his extremely sharp mind all give him everything he needs to find his opponents weakness and build something to exploit it
@@pjoworld That's going to be cool. Leo was my favourite character, and his character encouraged me to write my own book series, which I really enjoy writing.
Not to mention Nico's resilience that he's built up from surviving more hardships than most of the entries on this list. Being pulled out of time, frequent monster attacks, losing his mother and sister, feeling like an outcast, almost dying a million times because of his powers and their affect on him, being locked in a bronze jar, surviving Tartarus on his own, and feeling ashamed of his sexuality and being forced to out himself by Cupid.
True
I'm gonna give Percy the undisputed number 1. Nico is definitely extremely powerful. But I feel he did have some amount of advantage over Percy regarding Tartarus journey, because as a child of the Underworld, he was in his element. Of course that's cancelled out with Percy having companions.
So now that THAT part is cancelled out, it boils down to who's simply stronger. I think we all know that Percy is beating him in that field.
He had it worse because he could see the true tarturas which percy almost went insane after seeing it for a few minutes
Nico was ALONE walking through Tarturus, and while it may have been his element he saw it in it's purest form at only what, 14? Also Neeks can raise armies of dead, sense dearh, whither things, and shadowtravel. They are pretty equal, idiot.
@@barneythedinosaur8274 Chill lol there's no need for calling me an idiot over a different opinion. No one said Nico isn't powerful, he's definitely the runner up in my eyes. But the sheer list of Percy's powers & achievements , even while being away from his element (which Nico was in during his time in Tartarus btw) is why he's the winner in my eyes.
@@db4517 BUT we have to keep in mind that Tartarus, being an underground afterlife, is Nick's element. Like deep oceans is Percy's. So Nico had that advantage as I mentioned earlier. Percy didn't. That's my point, we can't definitely say who had it worse. Not to mention, Tartarus wasn't trying to kill Nico, but he was trying to kill Percabeth. But I am negating that with the advantage of Percy having companions like Bob, Damasen & Annabeth. That's why I cancelled Percy & Nico's advantages out with each other overall as both had pros & cons. After that it's just a question of sheer strength & power that Percy wins imo.
@@ankitg7994 Who tf is Nick
What a great vid y’all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly I just don’t think we’ve seen Jason at his strongest I mean technically he could create a mini tornado like Percy except his would be more electric I think the problem is Romans were trained to fight together where as Greeks were trained for one vs ones and while Jason has been with the Greeks it may not have been long enough and before his SPOILER death we did get to see him controlling wind and lightning so he is decently powerful I think the problem is none of the children of Zeus get to use their powers to their fullest extent Thalia is afraid of heights so she doesn’t use wind and Jason wasn’t trained in the way he should have been now I’m not saying his placement is wrong I’m just saying that he maybe a little stronger than we might think
Jason also fought a titan with his bare hands and beat the trojan sea monster.
Percy is the most powerful demigod ever. There is no one more powerful or skilful than him.
What I really like is how each demigod had their own role and skill set. People like Percy and Jason were the raw strength of the team. Annabeth is considered the leader. Hazel and Piper can manipulate scenarios giving them advantages against their opponents. Finally, Frank and Leo act as anchors in a way, providing support in important situations.
Actually Jason and Percy fight for the leader role or did when they were on the Argo when they fought over the head chair before someone broke it up if I remember correctly you can add Frank to raw power too especially after house of hades but his dad is Mars so war combat exp is his specialty and he replaces Jason as Praetor alongside Hazel not to mention he can turn into a freaking dragon and took down 300 monsters on a single bridge alone I like Annabeth but she’s more like Velma from Scooby Doo she definitely can hold her own though in combat one of the formidable ones in the area but she’s in front of Frank, Hazel, Leo, and Piper in terms of combat in that order I think maybe not Frank
I would say Percy is the strongest he has control water breath underwater and he can summon storms and cause earthquake like on the bridge not to mention he is heat resistant and can control potentially anything liquid and heal using liquid and gets a powerboost
FINALLY Someone who actually agrees Nico and Percy are same in power! The only reason I would feel Percy would win is because he is more experienced etc but Nico still has a good chance
I’m writing a fan fiction where the Greek demigods have to battle each other to the death in a Roman gladiator tournament. Percy and Nico are in the finals, and I can’t decide who wins
Oh wow! I would love to read that! I honestly think it depends on what’s around them. Is there water in the arena? Also, it depends on how far Percy is willing to go, because if he allows himself to blood bend, he could probably win.
can u share the link bro ? i wud love that
I think it comes down to, is it a head-on fight? Cause in a head-on fight, Percy will absolutely beat Nico. But if there are obstacles and other things that let Nico perform tricks, he can very quickly even the odds.
idk bout that, Percy always holds back
don't worry Percy Wins, he has already beaten Hades (Nico's Daddy) in The Last Olympian
There are a few mistakes here, Leo should be in higher ranks, because his powers are big enough to overwhelm the children of the big three elemental powers, also he has a immense power with building war machines, he is clearly more powerful than Hazel, Piper or Annabeth, i believe he is more powerful than Jason. Leo's main issue is the fact he underestimates himself a lot
hold up just a minute mate, "overwhelm the children of the big three elemental powers" , umm, jason got wind, strong winds maybe even, nico got shadows and percy , oh percy, got hurricanes and water. and to prove it, percy fought hyperion, a freakin titan and kept putting out his fire because of his hurricane. now if u think leo's flames are powerful than hyperion mate, then read the books again, please.
No Leo is pretty good where he is, his power is nowhere near the children of the big three, and finding a way no make is fire inconsequential is as easy as wearing inflammable clothes/armor or make yourself fire-resistant with some sort of spell or something, as soon as he can't do anything with his fire he can only melee fight since whipping up a machine to fight with him will take a bit of time, coming in prepared he'd be tougher, but still not hard to beat
@@pranjal3469 Dude, get real. Leo blew Gaia up, THE MOTHER OF ALL TITANS, including Hyperion. Ur the one who should read the books again here, bruh
@@Willy_Warmer That's what u think. Leo don't usually fight because he doesn't want to. He can shoot fireblasts, even white-hot blasts, he got an immense offensive power and also his toolbelt and machines, what makes him even better
@@chaddoge6659 again, heat can be negated, it’s not impossible to deflect his heat, the only time he could find to make machines to help him is before the battle, which gives his opponent preparation for his flames. Now, that doesn’t mean I agree with everyone else for instance, piper? God no, Leo’s beat her in a heart beat, all he’s got to do is plug his ears and her biggest strength doesn’t work 😂, but Leo’s not really further up, if he was a stronger melee fighter I’d put him up there, but he’s not and his powers can be deflected, making his machines the biggest advantage he has, which again, he won’t find the time to build a machine to help him in the middle of a battle
id change a lot of it... but some of it does make sense.... great video!! loved seeing ur opinions!!!

1. Nico
2. Percy
3. Reyna
4. Piper
5. Leo
6. Jason
7. Frank
8. Hazel
9. Annabeth (since she’s mainly just smart, she wouldn’t be able to win against most other demigods since they have powers)
10. Magnus (mainly relies on Jack, been a while since I’ve read the series so I don’t remember much)
I made this list super quickly so some of it is probably wrong but I’m too lazy to put more effort into it lol…
Ah i forgot Meg…. I’d prob put her tied with like 4 or 5
Great top 10! I may have put Annabeth lower, but still excellent.
Also Percy has the ability to control storms as poseidon is the storm bringer. Also remember that most experienced demigods especially the 7 have no issues seeing past the mist as they know it's there.
And if I remember correctly through the PJO Fandom as well as just basic common sense Percy does have the potential to pull water from the atmosphere.
I think the earthquake power was what Percy used to cause that explosion at Mount St. Helen.
Edit: I stand corrected
@GoofyTnT oh. Well I only listened to the audiobook versions. Somethings I may have missed.
He doesn’t have earthquake powers. He just summoned water somehow exploding outwards from him causing the lava and water to mix causing the explosion.
@@endergamer3503 yeah I got that
@@endergamer3503 but he used it when he destroyed the bridge
@@k.legendk.legend2712 No he used the power of water, the bridge was already damaged. He shoved his sword into the ground and caused water to explode from the crack.
I agree with Percy and Nico being in first. Except, by naming just what you did with Percy, I probably would have placed him in second. But if you add all of the monsters and villains Percy has killed, that would definitely put him right up there. And with Nico, he's (like you said) powers wise, able to top Percy without naming Percy's kills plus the fact that he is both physically stronger and faster than Nico.
Also, I know I'm late. I've watched this video before, but came back to it. I wanted to comment this time. And you just earned a sub 😁
I thought Percy did cause an earthquake in the fourth book before he ended up with Calypso?
I think Thalia needs to be higher on the list though. She beat Luke, who Percy had constant trouble beating, and even when fighting, she yelled, "you could never beat me Luke!" Implying that when they trained together, she was always better. And she was on equal footing when fighting with Percy in the titan's curse. Also, even Percy said, that Annabeth and Grover looked to her cause she was more expienced fighting than any of them, including him. She also has the blessing of Artemis
Now, I think Luke needs to replace Magnus. Magnus is smart and outsmarts his opponents, but he isn't much of a fighter. Luke beat Percy at sword fighting and when he joined the Titans he easily rose to being a leader on their side, and the one Kronos chose to supply his body. I doubt Kronos would have chosen someone weak. Either him, or Reyna, but I don't think Magnus makes it
I agree with Nico and Leo! Leo often gets thought of as dumb, but dude is a smart engineer and survives off of wit rather than overpowering his opponent, like Annabeth!
And Nico is super strong as well, he definitely is on tie with Percy, if not more
Great list. You forgot one thing - Nico been in captivity while he was in Tartarus, so it was hard to him to remain hopeful but easy to stay alive.
Umm but didn't he go alone till he reached doors of death. If you're implying percy is stronger than nico bc of that, i personally think it's bit debatable.

I believe Percy is the most powerful
In house of hades Percy was able control poison because a had little water in it
Meaning he can control humans
On top of this he can creat storms out of nowhere
but Percy has used the earthquake power in The Battle of the Labyrinth, when he made the volcano erupt.
It wasnt the earthquake power. He just summoned a lot of water from himself, which clashed with the lava causing the eruption!

Why percy Jackson is the strongest, he is the favorite son of a God, he is the only demigod who has terrain advantage, and have all of his godly powers. Soloed multiple god level opponents and beat them. His battle iq is on an Athena child's level. If percy where to get angry like he used to when he was 12, with his powers now he can demolish armies.
If Percy Jackson went Full all Out without anyone holding him down and Ignore his Loyalty, he would be a Full Beast bruh.
Yup...
Not mentioning that water vapor is always in the air in an amount and percy might be able to bloodbend
I pretty much agree with the choices but I really think Jason deserves a higher spot. I mean, he’s a child of Jupiter/Zeus whom is the king of the gods. I would put him under Percy in number 2 or 3. Percy Jackson is #1 tho NO QUESTION
Nico low key scares me. I would put him in first. Like Percy Is cool and all but Nico is also a child of the big three and he is freaking POWERFUL.
percy does create an earthquake in the labyrinth almost destroying mount Helen before being cent to calypsos island
I personally would place nico as first and percy in second since nico is technically as powerful as percy right now as well as being the second best swordsman, almost the best, and hes younger than percy. So by the time nico is as old as percy is currently or if they were the same age, nico would be more powerful
Nico hasn’t done anything like Mount Saint Helens, which Percy did when he was around Nico’s age.
@@phoebusapollo8365 thats not necessarily because nico isnt as strong, its just the way rick wrote the plot all together. If nico did something big too he'd be a little too much like percy. Besides, he might have and tbey dont mention it, alot of the time nico isnt the main show and hes usually off to the side or somewhere else entirely, so he totally could have done something great and nobody except people who had the first hand expirience were there
It’s true Nico shows more skill in his abilities at a younger age than Percy but we know that he spends most of his life constantly working on and learning more about his gifts. We know Percy trains continuously to be a better swordsman and we know some of his gifts just come easily to him like being healed, reenergized, or speaking to horses but we don’t see Percy using his combative abilities until he’s in a real fight or he’s provoked so it leaves you to imagine that if he did go about training and learning like Nico he could be exceptionally more powerful then he already is.
@@rekieki9690 Not to mention even without the training Percy has managed to unlock new combative abilities in the moment during a battle prior to even knowing he could do it, also he is because of his training the best swordsman after Luke’s death.

Considering it is basically a worse version of Hades domain we can assume Nico was able to see through some of that mask. He probably saw tartus even worse than they did, and had less experience in almost every aspect. And I feel like poeple forget that, yk?
I totally agree with you! He definitely saw Tartarus for what it truly was which makes it even more impressive that he was able to survive alone for so long.
@@pjoworld actually that's not the case in the house of Hades book it was specifically stated that as Percy was dying while fighting the curse demons with Annabeth and having bob save him he was able to see (and comprehend) what tartarus truly was which is insane cause no mortals except children of Hades should be able to do that, which I personally think means that Percy passed some kind of power threshold to be able to see that kind of thing

Even without his Dolphin army, he could probably beat many demigods at once. The only reason he lost was because he didn’t expect Frank to turn into a bear, and he was distracted, and was in a 1v7 scenario.
I definitely agree on Nico and Percy both top
But I loved the video a lot!!!
I think that one of the reasons Percy is so powerful is bc of Annabeth he is so motivated to protect her that he has even scared her. there are many times Percy is losing a battle then Annabeth get hurt and he becomes a new level of powerful. for instance when she took a knife for him and he was so angry he kicked kronos to the ground and collapsed a bridge. or when he took hundreds of curses to protect her he's even held up the sky and went to Tartarus. if that's not true love idk what is
The reason I only list the most powerful just for fun on my pages and stuff is because it's kinda hard to accurately compare. There are so many ways their powers could be used to great lengths and so many ways they're all holding back. It's obviously fun to do it but it doesn't really matter if you get one wrong or something because it's all practically opinion-based each time we do this. :) Also thank you so much for saying “this is my opinion” because so many people who do this act as if they're right and if anyone argues it's stupid and stuff so tysm
Also for Nico in Tartarus, this is something a lot of people get mixed up. Yes it takes guts to survive Tartarus and Nico is veryyyy powerful for that and he still got all the horrors but Percy and Annabeth got help from a couple other sources while having to trek through Tartarus and to the doors of death. Nico stated he was captured at the entrance or whatever by the giants so he didn't have to survive going all the way through it but they are still both powerful and Targarus is hard enough just at the gate as well
I love that you put nico on the top🥰🥰🥰
I think if Percy and Nico were to get into a big fight, all HELL would break loose. Literally nothing could stop them.
5:53 when has Nico done that? However, since his father can create powerful force fields of darkness, it's safe to assume Nico can too.
BTW Hades can also use the same energies to unleash powerful bursts of energy, so Nico probably can do that as well. This would make him an even bigger threat, as he could just blow stuff up - that's the simplest and most efficient method of killing there is.
Also, the ability to create force fields is very handy too.
so every power a god has their child does too? guess Percy just goes around creating horses from sea foam since his dad did.
@@chrishorsch8404 dude, not that, i mean we'll never know if he can. But it's still a possibility, since percy could do things like controling liquid which is not his father's ability, who knows what nico can do, he's still young and demigods get stronger as they age.
i seriously agree to this
spoilers. for 5:53 in blood of olympus, nico basically kills bryce lawrence by turning him into a ghost.
Bro you make is sound like it's a piece of cake for Nico to do it,while he even struggled to shadow traveled without passing out.
You gotta remember that Percy and Annabeth needed help with fighting all those monsters and also Tartarus himself, Nico while also powerful enough to rival Percy, was captured and held within a jar most of his stay in Tartarus
Great list, I do think that Reyna should've been somewhere there, especially if you take into account her ability to share her strength which is extremely useful in any team battle
Aside from that and her metal dogs, she is also not someone to underestimate in a 1v1, as her experience is vast and her mother being bellona grants her great tactical sharpness
Percy creates water from himself in the battle of labyrinth but love the video
I agree with all but piper because her charm speak only works on people who don’t know about charm speak puts her at a huge disadvantage
She can charmspeak people who even know about it. It’s not good with huge crowds of people especially when they are shouting or talking. She is pretty powerful at charmspeaking and her power kept on growing throughout the books.
She literally charm spoke festus- what do you mean “people”😭
@@elementalecho3633 he didn’t know about it😭🤡
“Even though he never used this in the books”
Typhon: guess I never woke
I’m pretty sure it was the water he summoned from himself mixing with the lava which caused the volcano to erupt
@@pjoworld he cause an earthquake, which cause the volcano to explode. The forge god told him that on calypso Island, "they don't call your father the earth shaker for nothing".
@@CaptainRicky19 This quote is from the book "Fire and water
collided, superheated steam, and I shot upward from the heart of the volcano in a huge explosion,
just one piece of flotsam thrown free by a million pounds of pressure." So I guess when Hephaestus called Poseidon earthshaker he was referring only to strength. But earthquake is never mentioned. So it was in fact pressure from lava and water that caused the explosion
Good point
I would put frank in my top 3. I could’ve sworn in one of the trials of Apollo books he used his wood to blow up/burn one of the emperor’s and it was completely destroyed, but he literally over came his fate of dying when it burns out. So I think the wood doesn’t affect him anymore. His shape shifting and skills with seemingly any weapon especially bow makes him an incredible fighter that be 1 on 1 or group fight. His leadership as a son of mars in the thick of battle. And I believe I read that the blessing of mars might not be a one time thing but it’s more of a battle cry when he’s in the zone.
We're all forgetting that in the house of hades book Percy could control poison and it was said he can control any liquid like blood
In my opinion Piper is very powerful seeing as she defeated Medea who was able to defeat both Jason and Percy so one day she could achieve that level of power.
It is just like saying percy swims faster then piper.lol
I will say tho that Jason has the most insane feat in the entire series. He essentially, after leading Camp Jupiter up Mount Etna, challenged a major Titan to a one on one duel, and wrestled and killed him. There is no mention of buffs, amps, or outside help. And I think the only time it’s ever mentioned outside of the lost hero is the house of hades where the titian of mention goes “ huh it really sucks Jason jobbed me like that”
Keep in mind that Jason In Mark of Athena ( who is significantly stronger then him pre TLH) was relevant to percy with no buff. A water buff got Percy from a novice duelist to rivaling Ares in TLT, and a COA buff gets him from beating minor gods to blitzing Hades after killing his hand picked 100 guards in his domain.
All that to say that water and CoA buffed Percy ( who in base is probably stronger the MoA Percy because he states that he is rusty) rivaled Hyperion, the Titian he match up with, and even tho he overpowered, he still needed outside help to put him down.
And Jason who is massively weaker then Percy by multiple tiers 1v1s him and kills him. It’s a feat that makes no sense, doesn’t add up to any of Jason’s other showing, and actually contradicts canon because as a mortal you can’t conventionally kill and immortal. This feat is wild lmao
That is pretty wild lmao. Since we didn’t get the full story in detail, I think it’s possible Jason got some help from his comrades in CJ. A demigod beating a titan single-handedly with no buffs just doesn’t make any sense lol
i just love percy jackson and basically all rick riordan books
