    • @catangelcosmos
      @catangelcosmos Před rokem +6

@@salazarslytherin6575 Just because you're putting a character into another series doesn't automatically cancel what they are. Plently of people do crossovers all the time and they don't change who or what the characters are, just puts them in different enviroments to see how they'd fit and react to the world around them.
I've read a lot of crossover fanfics between Percy Jackson and Harry Potter, and all of them invole Percy and/or the Godly Seven going to Hogwarts to protect Harry or something, and either they're given a temporary blessing in order to use magic or just can for some reason. Now, does that mean they're no longer demi gods, no, it's just fun crossover between two series the author really loves.
My Hero Academia is a great example of crossover between series. I've seen dozens of people theorizing or doing fanart/fanfic for Demon Slayer, Haikyuu, Mob Psycho 100, Dragon Ball Z, Fairy Tail, even Marvel and DC etc. Some would have them fit more into MHA's world, but still have their powers and others have the characters as the same just transported to MHA's world.
If you don't see Harry as a demi god, that is completely fine. Legacy is an interesting view for him. And I always love seeing the different ways fans want to blend two medias together in a new and unique way.
That's way I'm curious to see MovieFlame's opinion of if HP had godly parents. (if he choices to takle this topic of course)

According to me - *1. Percy Jackson - Hufflepuff* (As his fatal flaw is loyalty)
*2. Annabeth Chase - Slytherin* (As her fatal flaw is hubris, she is very ambitious and smart, just like a true Slytherin)
*3. Grover Underwood - Hufflepuff* (He's very loyal and brave)
*4. Thalia Grace - Slytherdor* : A mix of Slytherin and Gryffindor (She's very brave and ambitious)
*5. Nico di Angelo - Gryffindor* (He goes through a lot of changes, though. One of the best character arcs, in my opinion. I feel like he is a perfect mixture of all the houses. At the start of the book, he was a Hufflepuff, just a cute kid who loved to play Mythomagic and looked up to Percy. When Bianca died, he became more revengeful, and became more of a Slytherin. But, in the Heroes of Olympus, he showed more of his Gryffindor side and played a vital role in bringing the Athena Parthenos back to camp, and risking his life for the mission.)
*6. Jason Grace - Gryffindor* (He would do anything to protect his friends, and he is very chivalrous)
*7. Luke Castellan - Slytherin* (He was very ambitious and revengeful. Also, he is very manipulative, which is how he got all those young demigods to join Kronos's side and how he got all the camp wrapped around his finger)
*8. Clarrise La Rue - Gryffindor* (She is very loyal to the camp, is a natural leader, is chivalrous and a little reckless)
*9. Rachel Elizabeth Dare - Ravenclaw* (She is very creative and resourceful. She is also very wise, you know, being the Oracle of Delphi, and all)
*10. Hazel Levesque - Hufflepuff* (Honestly, when I think of Hazel, I immediately think of sweet, loyal, hard-working - all the Hufflepuff traits. Like Morgan said, she gave up Elysium for her mother, even when she treated her like trash. Also, she worked very hard to master the Mist, which shows her hard-working nature, and her dedication to help save her friends)
*11. Frank Zhang - Huffledor* : A mix of Hufflepuff and Gryffindor (In the start, he was a true Hufflepuff - a softie, and someone who was willing to give his life for his friends, like when he was willing to give his life for Hazel in the Son of Neptune. He is also very trusting, which is shown when he gives his stick of firewood to Hazel. After he got the Blessing of Mars, though, he changed a lot - and not just in looks. He became a natural leader, more daring, and the perfect praetor. We all know he will defend Camp Jupiter with his heart, as he is both loyal and brave - a perfect Huffledor)
*12. Piper McLean - Slytherin* (WARNING : Piper lovers, don't read) I'm going to be very honest, I feel like Piper is one of the worst characters of the 7. Just like Morgan said, she is very manipulative - figures, her literal power is charm-speaking! Even when she was younger, she abused her powers to steal things. She gets really shallow and jealous about Jason, like when she found out Reyna had feelings for Jason. Also, when Drew wanted Jason to like her, she got so possessive and threatened Drew. First of all, her memories with Jason were fake. They weren't even dating. I get Rick wanted to portray her as a tomboy, but it made her feel like someone who hates people who even like the colour pink. She is somewhat of a misogynist, honestly, in my opinion. She also complains a lot.
*13. Leo Valdez - Gryffindor* (Leo is brave, funny, witty, and loyal. The plot twist when Leo announced to Hazel and Frank that he was going to die - that was a big Gryffindor move right there! He sacrificed his life without a second thought to defeat Gaia. Yeah, he knew he was going to come back, but how sure could he have been? I can't imagine the amount of bravery that must have taken. )
IF ANYONE ACTUALLY READ THIS WHOLE THING, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING!!!

Harry was also loyal but he’s a gryffindor, percy is too brave for hufflepuf, gryffindor can also mean you’re loyal to your friends. Percy is not that nice of a person to be in hufflepuf, i’m sorry but percy is definitely a gryffindor. He’s too daring and impertinent to be in hufflepuf 😂 well yeah cedric was brave enough but he wouldn’t dare challenge someone way stronger than him just because he doesn’t like the guy like percy did to ares or kronos, or dyonisus or anyone you name it. He’s definitely not a hufflepuf. Percy’s Fatal flaws (loyalty) is literally every main characters fatal flaws trust me.

I quote, "“Oh, and Drew, honey?” The former counselor looked back reluctantly. “In case you think I’m not a true daughter of Aphrodite,” Piper said, “don’t even look at Jason Grace. He may not know it yet, but he’s mine. If you even try to make a move, I will load you into a catapult and shoot you across Long Island Sound."
Jason was single and they weren't even dating yet that time.

Honestly, I think Nico is not Syltherin. He is more Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. Only Slytherin trait that I see in Nico is Self-Preservation, and even Frank comes under that. Nico is Brave and Daring, yet he also shows Loyalty, Fair-Play and Dedication. He is also more patient than most Demigods.
What you say of Nico is honestly such a young version of him. He had grown way too much by the time of BoO or tHO. Honestly, the fact you take Nico's fatal flaw- Grudges, as a point for Slytherin, and not Percy's flaw of Loyalty as Hufflepuff is very contradictory of what are criterias used for this video.
Edit- Forget the fact I said Nico had Self-Preservation. I remembered his BoO time.

Nico is also super determined. Guy literally went into the Labyrinth to save his sister and nothing deterred him. Also, he’s resourceful. He survived in the Labyrinth with only a ghost. The on;y help he had was a spirit. Nico has also proven he is willing to disregard the Laws of Death to bring Bianca back. I think the Gryffindors would annoy him and the Hufflepuffs would also annoy him.

Yes he’s loyal, it’s a huge part of his character, but he has other hufflepuff traits too. Such as using his boon to ask for all the gods to acknowledge their kids, or giving up the glory by giving Clarisse the Golden Fleece (fair play). Not to mention that Harry asked for Gryffindor when he would have otherwise been in Slytherin.

Because he knew it was her quest. One could make the argument that hes not hard working, but look at how he managed to catch up with his missing work in the trials of appolo.

He goes into action without really going over things or seeing just how crazy his ideas are. This might just be me but I wouldn’t be mad if Percy was in hufflepuff and Annabeth is in slytherin as I feel like u could make the case for both. Percy’s fatal flaw is care for friends (loyalty) and that’s the reason y he is so brave for his friends. Annabeth’s fatal flaw is hubris which is just excessive ambition which is a slytherin characteristic. Percy should definitely be in Hufflepuff, we constantly see him making dumb moves according to people because of his loyalty and his fatal flaw is excessive loyalty, he is fair to people, he is definitely brave but a lot of the root cause of his braveness is his loyalty. And most importantly he values his loyalty the most, more than his bravery.

Imo, Percy is 100% Huffelpuff: his fatal flaw is excessive personal loyalty, which is a Huffelpuff trait---Jason, on the other hand, fits much more cleanly into the Gryffindor archetype: always doing the "honorable" thing, unlike Percy, whose loyalty often drives him to make reckless decisions.
Similarly, Annabeth's fatal flaw of Hubris makes her a shoo-in for Slytherin: her ambition clouds her judgement time and time again, and her resourcefulness and quick-thinking allowed her to recover the Athena Parthenon all by herself with no elemental superpowers like Jason or Percy or Hazel, or tech-genius like Leo, or shapeshifting like Frank, or charmspeak like Piper: if that isn't resourceful, idk what is.
Just some food for thought. Even tho I disagree with some of these picks, thank you so much for doing this video Morgan! Keep up the great work! :)

I think Percy and Annabeth would be Hatstalls but in the end would be sorted for Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. Yeah Annabeth is cunning, resourceful and her fatal flaw is the embodiment of ambition but knowledge and wits are her main traits by a mile.
As for Percy, he showed his bravery and daringness multiple times, like facing Ares, taking the weight of the sky by himself, or diving into the Styx. He also has a lot of nerve, he never had problems interacting even with the gods in not so polite ways, like when he met Artemis for the first time and he was like "meh...", or the way he taunts his enemies in battle. Yeah loyalty is of great value and he is humble but the same stands for Harry and he is fully a Gryffindor.

Here is my take on this:
Percy Jackson: Gryffindor. While his fatal flaw is personal loyalty and he’s dedicated and values fair play to an extent, he’s also brave, reckless, and noble. Loyalty can be a trait of all four houses, not just Hufflepuff. The loyalty of a Hufflepuff type of loyalty is more of an “I’ll die with you” sort of loyalty, while Gryffindor loyalty is much more “I’ll die for you.” His Hufflepuff loyalty would only really only be reserved for two people. Annabeth and his mom. The rest of the time, he’s the “I’ll die for you” sort of guy.
Annabeth Chase: Ravenclaw. Again, though her fatal flaw is hubris, this sorting is much more about what she values. Battle of the Labyrinth shows her Ravenclaw side perfectly, namely the scene with the Sphinx. In that scene, she literally tells the Sphinx that its questions are an insult to her intelligence. I feel like a Slytherin would be completely cool with these questions. If Annabeth were a true Slytherin, she’d answer these questions when she saw there was no other way out. In the book, even though she knew that her decision to challenge the Sphinx was dangerous, she still did.
Grover Underwood: Hufflepuff. Sweet, emotional, empathetic, dedicated, kind, and an environmentalist. I don’t know what gets more Hufflepuff than that.
Clarisse la Rue: Gryffindor. Loud, determined, reckless, born fighter, natural leader. I don’t know who else is more Gryffindor than Clarisse.
Tyson: Hufflepuff. Basically the same as Grover except not really that empathetic or that much of an environmentalist.
Thalia Grace (oops, just Thalia): Gryffindor. While her fatal flaw is ambition, her actions are way more Gryffindor. In fact, unless my memory doesn’t serve, her first mention was about how she sacrificed her life for Annabeth, Grover, and Luke to pass into camp. From her introduction, she just seems Gryffindor, though Slytherin would definitely be her second house.
Nico di Angelo: Slytherin. Not because he’s dark, but because he had lots of Slytherin traits from the later books of PJO through the end of HoO. Battle of the Labyrinth was the peak of his Slytherin personality. In that book, he had and exhibited basically all of the Slytherin traits. He had one clear ambition (or goal, if you prefer), which was to bring his older sister back to life. Throughout the book, he was determined to accomplish that goal, which was disregarding the rules of the Underworld and laws of death. In addition, you need resourcefulness and self-preservation to get through the Labyrinth all on your own. Throughout that book, he was also solitary, wrathful, and his fatal flaw was established to be holding grudges- a very Slytherin fatal flaw. After that, he was still Slytherin, though more noticeably less wrathful than he was before. It’s also noticeable that he survived Tartarus on his own, which, yes, was bravery, but also pure determination and self-preservation. After all his trials and throughout ToA, he’s much more lively and animated, but I don’t think he’s fit for Gryffindor of Hufflepuff yet. I’d say he’s probably a more open, sociable Slytherin than his peers, or a Ravenclaw. I’m not discounting his bravery or his loyalty, but I’m saying his determination, ambition, and self-preservation were much more prevalent in his character.
    Zoë Nightshade: Not enough information.
Rachel Elizabeth Dare: Gryffindor. While she’s open-minded and artistic, she’s also very Gryffindor in the sense that she’s bold, outspoken, and daring (she did hit Kronos in the eye with a hairbrush, that has to count for something).
    ……………………
    Heroes of Olympus:
Jason Grace: He defines Gryffindor. Bravery, courage, honor, daring, chivalry, honor, order. He has it all. His sense of duty is also admirable and reminds of Harry’s own, namely when he yelled at Lupin about how his father wouldn’t want Lupin to leave his wife and child. He’s definitely one of the more “logical” Gryffindors, compared to Leo, but is definitely Gryffindor.
Leo Valdez: Gryffindor. He represents its more boisterous, happy-go-lucky side. He checks off a lot of the boxes: Courage, bravery, willingness to sacrifice himself for the mission, and much, much more.
Piper McLean: Hufflepuff. While Piper is not ultimately my favorite character, she does fit my own house. Now, before you go all “But CHARMSPEAK!” on me, it doesn’t define her. In fact, she doesn’t necessarily like Charmspeak and it makes her feel manipulative. No, I’m not saying that she’s a Hufflepuff because her mom is the goddess of love, but because she exhibits Hufflepuff traits such as loyalty, dedication, kindness, and hard work during the mission. Piper herself is not afraid of toil and faces it coolly.
Hazel Levesque: Hufflepuff. Again, her mystiokinesis does not define her. Hazel is sweet, kind, loyal, a hard worker, very forgiving, and values fairness. After all, she forgave her mother, who treated her as an inconvenience and a curse (though it wasn’t exactly her mom), and when they were both faced with the death council, she gave up ELYSIUM to be with her mother and because she thought it was unfair for her mother to be punished for Gaea’s actions. She’s also really emotionally attuned and empathetic.
Frank Zhang: Gryffindor. I think you said it perfectly. Frank Zhang IS the Neville Longbottom of the PJO universe. He started of clumsy, nervous, not particularly good at anything of use (in Harry’s and Romans’ minds at least, with Harry not valuing herbology and thinking it’s useless, and the Romans thinking, by Vitellius’ words, that archers are wimps and archery is the only thing Frank is good at. Throughout their respective series’, they both grow into leaders (Neville with the DA and Frank becoming praetor of the legion). In other words, they go from zero to hero.
Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano: Slytherin. Unlike Thalia, who despite her fatal flaw is a Gryffindor, Reyna is a Slytherin because of her fatal flaw and her general personality. Ambition is a key trait of Slytherin, and she has it in loads. I believe she’s also very similar to Nico in the sense that they’re both extremely determined to she their goals through.
Octavian: Slytherin. Charismatic, ambitious, cunning, intelligent, ruthless (those cunning folks would do anything to achieve their ends), determination.

Percy is hufflepuff. Yes, he’s brave, but his loyalty is so strong that it’s his fatal flaw. He would run weaponless in front of an army of enemies to save a friend (and probably did at some point in the 9 books he’s a main character of)

She wanted to be like them, and thought going into the same house would help her do that. I think that Annabeth values her own mind above all else. And while there is a hubris in that, hello fatal flaw, it’s a hubris that lends itself to Ravenclaw. It’s just not the same thought process that Hermione has, even though on the surface they are pretty similar.

A lot of these can be argued either or. Like Percy between hufflepuff and gryffindor. He’s fatal flaw is literally loyalty.

I can so imagine the two Trios chatting and eating lunch together. Percy and Harry going over their destines as the "Chosen Ones" Ron and Grover talk about maturity and how they step up for their friends and Hermione and Annabeth going over their homework and spell practice respectively.

Personally, Percy Jackson belongs in literally all 4 houses:
Gryffindor: His bravery and Chivalry- no doubt
    Slytherin: Leadership and Resourcefulness- 100%
Ravenclaw: Maybe not book-wise knowledge but he's a master at Battle IQ, like finding weaknesses, distractions etc...
Hufflepuff: Loyalty is his literal fatal flaw

I honestly think Percy is a Hufflepuff. He’s got loyalty down, I mean it’s literally his fatal flaw. He’s super hardworking, never giving up in the battles to defend Olympus from Kronos. Also he is very fair-played, never killing any of the demigods who went over to Kronos’ side. He may have some Gryffindoor qualities, but there are brave and courageous Hufflepuffs too, like Cedric and Tonks. Great video!

Ha ha ha ha, this is funny!
I remember years ago thinking it would be funny to have a fan fiction where this could be a thing, same universe for both.

If Percy wasn't THE bravest kid in the series. He willingly went to tartarus with Annabeth so she wouldn'tt be alone. I don't think she would have escaped, let alone survived if she had fallen in alone.

This was awesome! Can you do 'Which God / Goddess would Harry Potter characters have as their parent? '
Edit : also can you do 'What fatal flaws do the Harry Potter characters have? 'cause that would be interesting to watch.
