Oh Marie-Anne, I teared up when you talked about your mom's beautiful, red leather gloves. It's so very special you'll wear them and be thinking of her. ❤
It did make me tear up CFW 😢 it is still raw 🙏
🙏🏻🫂🫂🫂
Oh yes!!!! How wonderful that Marie-Anne has her gloves! That SO touched me, as well! ❤
Hugs, Marie-Anne. I wear my mom's diamond stud earrings every day. It does make me feel closer to her.
My mom died shortly after yours Marie-Anne . I wear her pearls and this winter, I will wear her grey leather gloves.❤️
Thank you Marie-Anne for the phrase "If it's not a yes, it's a no!" It's such a simple phrase but it has been priceless for me when shopping for a new item! I was standing in front of the mirror yesterday wondering if I liked the sweater I was trying on and I heard you say that phrase in my head and I instantly knew the sweater was not a yes so it was a no for me. Making the decision is so much faster and easier! And I don't buy something that I only half like! Thank you! :)
I am so glad it has helped Aleah - it has saved me a lot over the years too 😃
I agree. This phrase has also helped me quite often. I've even caught my husband saying it to me lol.
Love your mom’s red leather gloves. Stunning. ❤️
They are wonderful Sunshine 🙏
Your mother's red leather gloves are beautiful and what a lovely way to remember her and keep her close to you.
❤️🤗
Your Mother was beautiful like you. May she rest in peace. Lovely content once again. Thank you.❤
Merci Gina 🤗
Silk scarf, satin blouse, leather gloves…❤️ We are talking date night, here. 🥰🥰
I am so sorry to hear your mom passed. 😢 I love her red gloves. The blue purse is so beautiful. I love all your accessories. ❤
Merci Rose Marie 🙏
I am very proud, that you, our charming French Chic expert, presented my new black riding boots!
I will wear them with even more joy now!
Thanks for everything, Marie Anne...
à bientôt... :-))
Yayyy Elisabeth 😃
@@MarieAnneLecoeur... :-))
Your mom's gloves is such a sweet touch! They look chic on you too
Pearl studs even elevate navy blue nurse scrubs. I wear them to work often. At the end of a long shift every face needs a little glow.😊
Pearl studs elevate everything!
Merci for your dedication to the health care services Litha 🙏
Yes indeed Kathleen 😃
@@MarieAnneLecoeur you are very welcome. I work in geriatric nursing and I have several jewelry loving ladies I care for. They always check which earrings I have on in the morning. They also love my novelty socks. I love to brighten their day. Getting to laugh about Hedge Hog socks can make a morning just a little better.
A few years ago I was in the emergency room and a nurse walked by me wearing navy blue scrubs, her hair in a bun and pearl studs. She looked so elegant that I still remember her.
Love your mother‘s gloves! ❤
I love silk scarves ever since I worked for KLM and wore a silk scarf with my uniform. Through the years I have build a nice collection and I am so happy they are on trend again. I can tie a small one on my bag, or tie a bow with a long one 🥰
They are so wonderful Borg - it sounds like we are Scarf Sisters 🤗
Marie-Anne, it's great that you wear your late mum's lovely red gloves. I have a beautiful little black leather evening handbag that used to belong to my own late mum and which I love to use.. With little bits of gold hardwear, it elevates anything I carry it with.
It sounds beautiful Nicky ❤️ what a treasure to have and to use
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing! I am wearing my grandma's silk gloves for special occasions and wore her pearl earrings at my wedding. That way I can always carry her with me. Sending you lots of love from Greece and thank you for all those lovely videos!
Merci Mona Lisa x
Dear Marie-Anne my deepest sympathy for your loss, your mother was such a beautiful and classy lady, may our Lord comfort you. I'm so glad that you are wearing your mother's gloves, I know that they will always be so special for you. My sweet mother in law died two years ago, we were very close and I still miss her every day. I like to use vintage brooches during the winter, specially on my berets or hats...I feel like a classy lady from the 1940's ! Thank you for your wonderful videos, God bless you. Love from USA
Merci Andrea and I am sorry for your loss 🙏 brooches can add a real focus and beauty to an outfit ❤️
I’m so excited about winter fashion. I have a lot of these items. I don’t have to look frumpy. You are such a great teacher.
That is very kind of you Cam 🤗 I like winter time too ⛄️
I love silk scarves, I wear them a lot, except for on hot summer days. I have hypersensitive skin and they protect my neck from itchy woolies, even good cashmere can irritate it. They add softness, femininity, elegance, color and pattern to the simplest outfits. I also love how they can make an interesting outfit out of two solid-color separates, if they have both colors in them. I’ve worn them for forty years and don’t plant to ever stop, “trendy”, or not. I have a big collection, few were very expensive, but I do buy only genuine silk. The synthetics irritate my skin, don’t breathe and they wrinkle, unlike silk.
That makes us Scarf Sisters Kimberly 😃
I've just started wearing silk scarves regularly in the past couple years, thanks to Marie-Anne! I was looking forward to cooler weather just to wear them again. They make me feel so jaunty and timelessly chic!
So nice to wear your mum's gloves. After my mother died I wore several of her items - I still have a few (also had my father's umbrella & his magnifying glass) 17 years later. I hope you are doing as well as is possible. Sending hugs. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
Merci Adrienne 🙏
I love scarves, leather gloves and your videos ❤
Awww merci Cindy 🤗
I really like these larger pearl studs you're wearing. They bring a lot of light to your face. More than the smaller ones that you use to wear.
They are lovely Kimberly 🤗
Your Mum's beautiful red leather gloves. How happy she would be, knowing how you love and treasure them. ❤ You have obviously inherited her amazing fashion sense. Thank you for the video.
I learnt a lot of what I know about style from Maman 🙏❤️
I love scarves! They are an amazing way to keep warm and elevate the look!!
🧣🧣
At last, I can start wearing again all the patterned tights I’ve kept hoping they would eventually come back in style!😘
Yayyyyy 🙌
Fads and trends come and go but tights, patterned or solid, never really left the building, especially in climates like mine (NE Ohio) where temperatures can be bitter and bare legs are just not an option in winter. Wear them! I do!
The red leather gloves are beautiful. I have a pair of black leather gloves that I purchased about 25 years ago. I still wear them.
Silk is a really excellent lightweight fabric for warmth, there are silk base layers you can wear for warmth under clothes, it's so good for regulating tenperature and is cool in hot weather, it's so versatile naturally :)
Yes indeed 😃😘
The bags are just beautiful! I have a tote from a different company in that fir green color. I use it everyday for work. Leather gloves are my favorite. They last and always look good. I hope you enjoy your mother’s red pair. The perfect pop of color! I’ve always worn scarves, but am more recently enjoying the larger ones that I can really wrap myself up in. My new neighbor just gifted me a lovely silk scarf with blues and golds. Very pretty. Always a fan of boots. I would love a new pair with a bit of a heel though. Winter accessories are wonderful! 💕 Thank you Marie-Anne. 😊
What a kind neighbour you have 😃
I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure that your mother would love that you are wearing her beautiful red gloves.
🙏
Sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. You have always talked so fondly of her, that I know that bond will never be broken even in her passing. God bless you and give you peace when you are missing her and joy in the celebration of a life we’ll lived!
🙏
So sorry you lost your mum this year, Marie-Anne. I did, too, and often have little things of hers around me to remind me of her. Personally I love scarves, as they are easy to wear and will instantly make you feel warm. I also relate to the pearl ear studs, they are definitely my go to earrings and there is a tone for every colour palette. :)
So sorry to hear you lost your mum Monikk x
I've worn scarves since I was a teenager and still love you wear them today!
🙌🧣
I have had a pair of black leather gloves for years! They were a fit pricey at the time, but are totally worth it. I love your mom's red leather gloves and that they will remind you of her every time you use them ❤❤❤
Sounds like great cost per wear Ana 😃
I also wear my Mum’s leather gloves! It’s great that you wear patterned tights. I’ve done so for sixty years. Thank you for the video.
You are very welcome Jenny x
I have a whole wardrobe of hats! Newsboy hats, caps, berets, cloches, wide brims, and fedoras. And ditto for scarves … too many! But I love them. Thanks for sharing this! ♥️♥️♥️
Oh My Gosh I would love to see them all 😃
I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. How lovely that you can wear her gloves and think of her.
🙏
This was a good reminder of the things I already have in my wardrobe. I LOVE scarves and I have several long, wide wool wraps in some gorgeous colors (deep green, teal and fuschia). I also love hats and I look best in the pill box and beret styles, but I also have a faux fur one like yours for very cold days. The boots! You cannot have too many! I just got a nude suede ankle bootie from Dolce Vitae. My new favorite. The one thing I would like to add is a leather bag in a color other than tan, brown or black.
I am sure you would be able to find something at Cambridge Satchel Michelle 😃
One January years ago I was visiting Paris for a celebration holiday with my then husband and both of our mothers (we are English, I had studied French at University some years before and could still speak it reasonably well in those days). It was freezing cold and I was wearing a grey double breasted 'pea' coat with lapels which was actually a warm fleecy fabric, with some kind of muted tone midi skirt, dark suede boots, a scarf and gloves, it was comfortable for walking around, warm and I felt quite stylish, also being slimmer then haha - I will never forget when a French lady approached me and asked me the way to a particular local street, which I happened to know because we were staying nearby! I understood her question and answered her in French and gave her directions to the street! It was so funny to think that maybe she thought I was a Parisienne, and I could only put it down to my 'non- touristy' appearance(?) - I am sure she realised I wasn't native French when she heard me speak but that moment was something I will always remember with a smile!
Silk is a really excellent lightweight fabric for warmth, there are silk base layers you can wear for warmth under clothes, it's so good for regulating tenperature and is cool in hot weather, it's so versatile naturally :)
That is wonderful LTyrell 😃 thank you for sharing such a sweet memory 🤗
👏
I love them all! I don't look good in any hat, but especially do love tights and equestrienne-style boots in winter, also scarves, pearls, and leather gloves. And that blue handbag ... 💙 Thanks, Marie-Anne!
🤗
A big yes! to the black boots_with dress, skirt and pants, love scarf, cap and i have the same colour-blue tote bag,, love the blue bag
I love all things accessories. I love my gloves in the winter I wear silk scarves. I wear wraps, and I wear hats. I love berets.😊
Love ❤️ scarves. Just started wearing them this fall for the cooler days and nights. It's surprising how warm they keep you
They trap so much heat October 😃
Love these suggestions! I'm off to Venice and Paris in December. You confirmed my hat choices that I'm packing -- I have a black velvet mariners cap and a faux fur hat. I'm taking black suede ankle boots by La Canadienne that are waterproof, as well as Gore-Text waterproof slim ankle boots if there's a high water issue in Venice. My only conundrum is my coat. I can't really take two, so I'll leave my treasure Fleurette (Loro Piana wool) behind and take my waterproof insulated black coat. I've got tickets to Opera Garnier for a modern dance performance! Very excited to see my friends in both cities.
I hope you have a wonderful time 😃
My deepest condolences on your mom’s passing but your beautiful memories of her will always be with you❤️ I, too, cherish items I’ve acquired that were my mom’s and plan on passing them on to my daughters or granddaughter. It’s lovely to have mementos like these that endure time and add to our memories.
🙏
Thank You for this video in which I love each of your demonstrations on what to wear in the wintertime. I did the same thing after my mom died, I wear her black leather gloves. I miss her so much. My condolences to you and your family. ❤️
🙏
I certainly think scarves elevate an outfit. I thought the pink look so beautiful on you 🙂🩷
🧣❤️
I once had a favourite pair of beautiful red gloves too, but unfortunately I’ve lost them. Having lived in India for sometime I adore my collection of wraps and shawls! I also rely on silk scarves to elevate outfits in all seasons. The Russian hat looks amazing on you ma chère ❤
I had a wonderful collection of pashminas I bought in India but gave them all away before I went to Mexico for two years - I miss them now 🙁
Thanks to following you for several years, I shopped at Cambridge Satchel when we visited Edinburgh recently. As you’ve said, such a beautiful store and lovely assistance. I purchased a mini Emily in cognac. I’m sure I’ll enjoy it for years to come! Best wishes for the holidays, I hope they are filled with happy memories of your parents. Merci!
I am so glad to hear that Kathy - thank you for sharing your thoughts on Cambridge Satchel - it gives people more reason to try them out 😘
I didn't realize that you can wear silk scarves in the winter! Lesson learned ❤. Pearl studs are a perfect choice when traveling, they go with everything, no need to take anything else.
I wear them all year round Sandy 😃
Great video Marie-Anne. I'm sitting at home in Australia, 30 degree heat, but loving all the accessories, as I just love winter accessories. They are not to be neglected!
Stay Chic and Cool Bod-esse 😘
I’m doing my best Marie-Anne, thanks to your inspiration 😀
I love my suede loafers and heels. I try not to have too many because I live in Central Texas where it gets cold two or three months out of the year. I have a 30-year collection of silk and other fabric scarves, so I can add the scarf with a lightweight sweater and be comfortable during the not-so-cold winter days! I love patterned tights, but after this video, I am going to look for patterned pantyhose and maybe wear some lovely winter looks with cooler fabrics in a not-so-cold climate. Fabulous tips as always. Thank you!
You are very welcome Morgan 🤗
I love scarves and wear one In every season.
🧣❤️
LOVE SCARVES!!

Love a scarf..we need a video on different ways to tie them…..I’ve loads …..

I have a collection of cloche hats I wear in winter. I love the look and they keep me so warm.
I have a cloche hat or two as well Kathleen they are adorable 😃
I love winter outfits and my collection of scarves in various colours are the essential accessories :)
A collection of scarves 😃 do share Lea 😃
@@MarieAnneLecoeur Haha just various wool and cashmere scarves in different colours - they add some fun to my black and grey coats. Btw your Mother's red leather gloves are beautiful and I'm sure you love wearing them. 😍
I love my Poppy bag in burgundy!
They are a delight Sophie - please do let me have a selfie of your with your Cambridge Satchel bag 😃
@@MarieAnneLecoeur I have a terrible cold now but maybe in the future🥰
I love love love scarves and would like a video showing your collection. I have silk, cotton, tencel, wool, and cashmere.
I will see what I can do Kimberly x
Living in a Canadian city that gets very windy during the winter months, I mostly wear a thick knit toque with a diamond pattern. It’s black to match most of my winter coats. I also have a black felt dressy chapeau that I bought in France in the late 1990s when I lived abroad. It is plain, has a lovely turned up brim and it’s also in black.
They sound lovely 😃
I have a long, cold neck and LOVE to wear scarfs of wool or silk.
You look AMAZING in the Russian hat! Wow! Thank you for great tips here. I have beautiful scarves and they are all in boxes hidden away. Interested in how people display theirs in their wardrobes so they don't forget to wear them?
And, I am sorry to hear about your Mum passing. That is very hard. I love that you have her gloves, and I am sure other things to keep her presence with you.
Merci Vivien 🙏
Hats are not accessories for me, they are an essential part of my style and really my identity. I have hereditary alopecia and hats were initially a way for me to draw attention away from the fact that I’m ‘follicularly’ challenged and the barrage of stares and often rude/thoughtless comments/questions I would get from people. But hats and turbans are so much part of how I dress and see myself that I can’t imagine myself without one. I wear cloches and trilbies in particular and also a modified fedora when the mood takes me. I tend to wear complementary colours. Hats protect my skin in the summer (And I’ve had my skin for a while!) and turbans are awesome in winter! And yes, I have far more hats than I should admit to 😊
Comments
I am very happy that you have found confidence through your healing approach to style Julie 🙏
I've often worn a beret but I'm in Edinburgh which is nicknamed the Windy City and berets don't stay on, so I haven't worn one for years!
💨👒😃
Love the ankle boots, navy scarf, leather gloves ❤ from Frances
❤️🤗
In winter, I wear a hooded coat specifically made to keep women warm and dry in a blizzard - the color is Blaze Orange. That way, I can be seen. Talk about a pop of color !! I own actual riding boots but not in the blizzard, thanks. I wear "wellies" then.
I can't wait until it gets cold enough here to wear my leather riding boots. I have a pair in brown and a pair in black. I had to get them custom made to fit my calves because everything in the stores have shafts too large and floppy on me. I like silk scarves in winter too; they do keep my neck warm.
Please do share them with us Bay Dreamer 😃 they sound gorgeous ❤️
I absolutely adore your videos. Could you please make a video showing us the many way to wear and tie scarves?❤
Like this one Donna czcams.com/video/tF0Oh7Msk1g/video.html 😃
Lovely outfits Marie-Anne, I particularly like the Grey hat with the Grey coat and Crimson scarf, I like leather gloves also I have a black pair but when it’s really cold I turn to my sheepskin gloves, great handbags too, I love the blue one, not doing too bad Marie-Anne with my stock as I also have a pair of genuine leather riding boots in black and several warm scarves, Thank you for another entertaining video, my wardrobe has improved immensely since I subscribed to your channel and took note. And especially the one where you say “if it’s not a wow then it’s a non” I have applied it on many occasions and saved my Hubby lots of £s ❤x
Merci Shirley - I am so glad my advice has helped both you and your hubby 😘
Beautiful content for this season, dear Marie-Anne. I'm a big fan of wraps and silk scarves as well. Every single item is gorgeous and essential to keep warm and stylish during winter. Bags are lovely, my favourite is the blue one and those red leather gloves from your dear maman are absolutely gorgeous, so chic 😍! You look radiant and always love your lipsticks. Merci beaucoup pour votre conseil comme toujours 🙏🏻❤
Merci for your kind words AW 🤗
I'm so sorry to hear about your mother passing. I am thinking of you. It's wonderful that you are wesaring her gloves!
🙏
Pearl studs elevate every outfit. I'm the old-fashioned type who asked for pearl studs for my 13th birthday. 😂. I got them, but my dad also gave me some bright plastic "teen" jewelry 😂
I have to say I always mispronounce French words and get corrected. Envelope.. .. if the paper type for a letter the emphasis is on the first syllable... If to be wrapped like in your scarf the emphasis is on the second syllable - the "VEL"
Just laughing cause I always get corrected in my French.
Bonjour Kelsie - yes indeed my husband always tells me that English is a far better language for having me speak it even though I mangle it terribly 😔 he is a sweetie 🤗
I prefer a trilby style of hat…..tweed keeps you warm too.
They are lovely Jacqueline 😃
Thank you for showing us this vid Marie-Anne!! 🥰 All beautiful items. My favourites here would be the riding boots! Also the collants fantasie (combined with the riding boots and cute skirt). Gloves too. Wish you'd give me a couple of hours in your wardrobe so that I could try on different combinations 😅 Hugs from Terje!!!!
Maybe I should do a vid trip around my wardrobe/studio Terje 😃
🤩@@MarieAnneLecoeur
As always I completely agree with you!
Love your video and now I need to find some hats!!!!❤️❤️❤️
Let me know if you do Janice 😃
Hello great video! I know I'm late to the party here with the winter thing. I'll keep this in mind for when it gets extremely cold here in california. One time it almost got down to 60. Love the fur hat!
🥶🥶
Your riding boots are GORGEOUS, Marie-Anne! And the RUSSIAN HAT! HA! FABULOUS!!!! I don’t wear hats in Winter, but I might start NOW. That hat was so dramatic! And I have worn pearl studs for a couple of years straight now….. at your prompting. I LOVE them! They go with EVERYTHING! Great video! Oh, … I wear my pashminas (scarves) year round, too….. restaurants and movie theaters, etc can be so cold!
I love Pashminas Lisa - I used to have a large collection I bought in India 😃 but gave away when I moved to Mexico 😢 I miss them now I am in Normandie
Dear Marie-Anne so sorry to hear about your mother I have one of my mothers handbags which I still keep polished and stored in a dust bag. Also a quick tip about your leather gloves taught to me by my French grandmother before you store them away put them on and rub a small amount of leather cream into them. Like you are putting on hand cream it helps keep them supple when stored.
Merci 🙏 what a lovely memento of your dear mother ❤️
Those outfits all look amazing! Are you having winter weather yet? Here it's kind of a yes and no with winter. It's 1 degree Celsius now and snowing but the lakes and rivers won't freeze up until sometime in December and it'll be at least a week before the snowpack that lasts until April is established (assuming it's a normal winter).
Bonjour Al et merci 😃 the night's are drawing in but it is still quite warm for the time of year - but lots of rain ... it is Normandie after all ☔️☔️☔️
@@MarieAnneLecoeur It's been a dry November here except for recently. We for the first 20 days had 0.09 mm of rain all month. It can be almost any temperature here in November. It's been 31.5 degrees Celsius here before in November but it's also been as cold as minus-18 degrees Celsius. We usually average about 10 cm of snow in November but we've had as much as 2/3 of a meter before from a single storm.
Stay warm my friend 😃
I like baker boy hats which are similar to fisherman's hats. Won't blow off in the wind like a fedora. Love the fur trimmed knit hat which looks more feminine and elegant than just a unisex knit cap. Love your black boots with textured panels. But you wouldn't wear those while riding your horse, would you?
I have real cowboy boots for my Western Riding 🤠
I love all these accessories, except that I’m not really a hat person, mostly because I have to wear glasses most of the time. I only wear them outdoors for sun protection or for warmth or rain protection as needed in winter, with my prescription sunglasses, if needed. I like a brimmed wool hat like a fedora for winter because the angle of the sun is quite low and it shields my eyes. In my dry climate, cold days are usually bright and sunny ones, anyway. Or a wool beret, I don’t like sock hats that much, they slide up and off my slippery hair and off my head in minutes. Years ago on a stormy commute morning, a nice police officer noticed my good long trench coat, but wind-broken umbrella and sopping wet head. He, used to being outdoors all day, recommended a rain-hat instead of an umbrella for those windy and wet stormy days, instead of ruining yet another umbrella when the wind inverts and breaks it. I spent that whole day at the office in soaking wet hair and clothing where the rain streamed in from my wet hair, it was cold and uncomfortable, so I took his advice in the future, they work great.
A Rain hat is a very good idea Kimberly - I have lost more than my fair share of umbrellas on windy days 💨☂️
Miss Marie-Anne darling your lovely wool wraps scarve, blue poppy bags and collants fantasies tights too great gifts for the winter my Beautiful Teacher l love you 😘❤️
Merci Hector
You're welcome my sweet queen
@@MarieAnneLecoeur
Wouldn't be without my leather gloves, i tend to just wear black boots, but I must get some beige boots.
I've just noticed that I have all of the ítems you've shown in the video. 😅
Funny, but today I have worn a cordoury dress with fantasy tights and riding boots. 😂😂😂. Btw I love the red gloves!! Besos from España and have a nice Sunday evening! S.
Yayyyy 🙌 sounds like you are all set to accessorise this winter 😃
I wear sun hats in sunny Florida in winter.
@olesyabenson6699 You are so lucky 😀
I love suede boots.
Hello Marie-Anne. Thank you so much for your wonderful advice. You have changed the way that I shop and mostly how I wear my clothes. Could you possibly give us some advice about Christmas and New Years party clothes? I would love to wear a sequined top but I do feel a bit daunted by the sparkles on a woman over 50 ?
Sequins for ladies over 50 can be a minefield Matusadona - I will see what I can do about a video for the party season for you 😘
@@MarieAnneLecoeur thank you so much…..for everything 😘😘
I love love love scarves, big and small , silk, linen and cashmere . Even synthetic if they are beautiful and made well. Last October I was in Provence and in the small store in Roussillon I bought a synthetic silk like
wrap for 10 euro, but sooo gorgeous and classy, I always get complements on it.
I like the blue purse you modeled, I have never heard of this company!
I am hooked on Polene,Paris.
And what do you think of Guibert Allure bag?
Thank you for your advices❤😊
You are very welcome Sofya - do take a look at The Cambridge Satchel collection they are quite iconic 😃
❤️ from Long Island, NY. 🇺🇸
❤️🗽
You do suit that shade of navy blue. Thinking if your colors were done you would be a winter. Down in New Zealand it is getting warmer; humid and wet in Auckland. What surprises me is the variety of clothes available over there. You would be hard pressed to find many navy garments in N. Z.
💙 we have no need to have our colours done Kiwi - we use the very simple but far more accurate French Chic Colour Test it works for every one, every colour, every fabric, every time watch here czcams.com/video/J_uhCm9uE-w/video.html 😘
@@MarieAnneLecoeur Thanks for that, I haven't heard of that before, will check it out. New Zealanders are obsessed with black clothing, trying to find navy is difficult. Small country and limited options!
I love leather gloves so I have 3 pairs of them - muted red, olive green and orange ones
❤️💚🧡
Hi Marie-Anne, have you ever done a video on how to look decent when traveling by plane? I recently flew for the first time in 9 years and had forgotten how awful sitting in an airport and on the cramped plane is! I get why people wear what they do in order to be comfortable but,,,,
Any ideas you can share?
Bonjour Joan - not specifically - I will see what I can do 😘
The Russian hat really suits you!!
🤗
Gorgeous thumbnail Mari-Anne
Merci Deliga 🤗
Joyeuse Noel et une bonne 2024!
Merci Eva and to you too x
Marie Anne I have a black cashmere scarf as recommended by you from the Nordstrom sale a few years ago. It went with me to Alaska 2x and was wonderful; even to rest under in the cruise cabin. It's going on the plane to London next month. Now...should I pack my beige trench, above knee black trench, or below hip zippered, black wool to go over 2 dresses, 1 midi/1 below knee...need a try on. My Grant tartan(red) big square is going too. Nothing seems right. Except the black cashmere! Merci!
The beige trench is iconic Sara - it will allow you to layer underneath and with the black scarf will be a great look. But London can be cold at this time of year. Try to see what the weather is like just before you go and base decisions on that 😃
The trench is working! With the black cashmere scarf, my tall black leather boots (also your recommendation) and my new black leather fur lined gloves (and my extremely thick head of hair) I'll be warm and chic thx to you.
😃😘
Love ur tips. I must say I think u r prettier in that blue thanbI have seen you. It really suits u
Awww merci Katherine 💙
You are so charming and funny! 👏🥰
🤗
Great pieces. When wearing winter hats, how do you prevent your hair from getting all staticky and flat? Thanks.
My hair is very fine Lisa so it gets very flat and very unruly 😅 I just muss my hair with my fingers - instant désinvolture 😃
Good morning Marie-Anne. Thank you for this wonderful Video. But I have a question: Do scarf, cap resp. hat, have to be in the same colour or in a similar colour like the coat we wear? I'd appreciate your interesting answer.
Bonjour Inge, it really all depends what you want to say with your outfit. If you look at my outfits in the video - they are not the same but you can go for a chic look say for example in creams and ivories with all the same tones. Experiment with what you have, try different combinations out and see what you think 😃
Hello Marie-Anne, many thank for your really fast answer. I'll follow your proposal and will look how I like it. Anyway, for the time being, it is here more rainy than cold and we need more raincoats and umbrellas than warm caps or hats.
You are very welcome Inge - it rains all the time here in Normandie ☂️
In German we have a poem. I try to translate into English: Shared pain is half pain. It's because of the rain here and there.
But today I saw a rainbow😃☔🌈
My cashmere cardigan has moth holes and I'm wondering if I can turn it into a scarf. Would it be fine with raw edges, maybe roll up naturally?
Good question which some of our sewer Ladies could probably answer better than I - maybe roll the edge wit a running stitch to prevent unravelling?
Hi Marie: can you let me know where can I buy the Decleor night cream?
Bonjour Noemi - they appear to have world wide websites from which you can make your purchase 😘
@@MarieAnneLecoeur thanks. I’ll search for another one, the one I bought it from said that it was delivered, but I never received it.
We are planning to visit Paris next August, God willing. It will be great if we can come across you! 🙋♀️😊
