I love it when you teach us some French apparel/fashion terms. I never bought anything oversized, it doesn’t flatter my small body. I just waited this trend out and finally found some nice fitted blazers and coats this fall.❤

I have a pair of pitch black smooth velvet jeans that I took to the tailor to be hemmed yesterday. I can’t wait to try them with some of the lovely sweaters you shared.

IMHO, 7/8 length trousers are the worst for the silhouette, but agree on all other advises and brands. Thank you and keep adding French words, gives more strength to your opinion, and supports our French culture, which is disappearing.
Merci Nadine - there are so many non French influencers claiming to show and writing articles about French Style - we are not so much losing our culture and style as having it completely miss-represented 🙁 mine is a small voice being drowned out - but I keep trying 😃
I recall that I adored corduroy when I was a kid. Those trousers could go from casual to dressed up with just a little change of clothes.
Now they are back and I’m very happy.
No doubt French people know what to wear or as I always say: if it’s French, it’s flawless even with a small flaw.

I bought a black corduroy jacket last week, I was looking for a velvet one, but couldn't find one, this one is a very fine corduroy, I really like the fit cut it has. I need to polish and bring out my knee high boots, the ankle boots are already been worn 😊. I only have one pair of plaid trousers, I think that I might need to invest in another pair. I think that maybe a big soft scarf should also be added 😊. Thank you for a fantastic and inspirational video, mercy 😘

I moved a couple of years ago from south Texas to a cold weather state. Corduroy slacks are a must here in winter. Blue jeans just don’t cut it for warmth. Thank you for the video❤❤❤

Wonderful video: I love knits and also corduroys, especially in winter. My neutrals are black and grey, and my favourite colour pop is burgundy so one black merino wool turtleneck, one grey cashmere sweater and one pair of burgundy corduroy pants were all I needed to add this winter; though I am on the lookout for a great pair of Mary Jane [les babies] shoes, preferably in burgundy. Thank you always for the great advice.

I can't get clothing of French brands here in my town, but in October I found two very nice sweaters, one dark brown in cashmere, and another one in a kind of really cool pink in a wool blend quality. Now I am up to date with my wardrobe and can shop my closet for the next few month, according to your advice in a former video. I like your videos! 😊🙋♀️💐

I am wearing my burgundy corduroy trousers on repeat. I am finding so many options, beginning by adding my burgundy Shaker V-neck sweater. I can pull out the colors from the petite flowers on my print navy corduroy jumper, depending on the blouse I wear underneath. It will take me well into Spring. I have owned my Durango cowboy boots for years, and always receive compliments on my Pikolino half boots
Synchronicity -- I just wore my Talbots burgundy corduroy trousers today. I have olive, navy, charcoal and brown but I'm craving pale gray and camel so will be looking for bargains.

I just ordered mock t-necks from their half price sale. I only needed one pair of corduroy trousers, living where winter is short and no longer in WI.
I love corduroy and velvet. I love your navy velvet blazer. I have one I got last year. It is single breasted. I want to put it with black jeans. I saw an example and just loved the mix. I recently heard that tweed was out of style. I don't think so. Tweed has been in style for over a hundred years. I would love to shop these French brands. I have a Sezane sweater.

Gorgeous pieces! I love you the look of wool sweaters, but am allergic! 😢 Nothing takes color like wool, but I have to be satisfied with cotton and (ugh) acrylic.

Cropped trousers...hmmm, when I see them with a big space between the bottom of the trouser and the top of the shoe, I think they often make the wearer look stunted. Good advice to keep the colours the same... much more elongating.

Hii Marie Anne wonderful video, on point i have seen many French women wearing stripes in clothes. Could you please make suggestions on the inner wear , as i feel inner lingeries make a difference on outer clothes.

How WONDERFUL that regular length pants are sold in France for Fall and Winter. I don't know why it's near impossible to buy full length pants in the U.S. for the cold weather months. Ankle pants are okay in warm weather, but not in cold weather. And, even in warm weather, I think that ankle length pants are a difficult length for most women to achieve a balanced look.
