I can't believe people would be so cruel to you Marie-Anne! These comments say more about the person writing them than they do about you, it's their stuff - not yours. It's easy for people to hide behind a computer and spout hate and criticism. As ever you are so gracious, and that's commendable. Your true French Chic Ladies all adore you! And what I personally like, is how genuine you are and how you take the time to interact with your audience, replying to comments etc. Much love 😘
Thank you so much for all of the likes 😊

I don't make any content, I merely comment on videos and have been called every name in the book. I pity the poor souls who must be so miserable that they treat others this way. Those comments have nothing to do with you and everything to do with them. There is NOTHING wrong with your hair. Some people would love to dress better but feel that they don't look good because of their size or shape. They get jealous of people with a smaller frame like yours. They lash out at you to make themselves feel better. You are wonderful and inspiring. Please don't listen to a word those people say. They need therapy and prayers.

Your videos have given me plenty of ideas and help format my new wardrobe as I switch from piece to piece. Thank you, Marie! I am a middle aged woman who found you on CZcams a couple of weeks ago. I have cerebral palsy and I am also very short. As the years progressed, I became lazy over time with respect to my style. I found it very hard to find things that I could wear when I would walk into stores. Your CZcams videos have changed my perspective. By following your simple tips and advice, I am actually starting to look forward to try new styles, colors, and materials. I’ve always loved classic styles and disliked trendy fashion, such as ripped jeans and oversized sweaters. Shopping made me anxious and I would typically end up not purchasing anything or buying the wrong thing (using dressing rooms in shops are difficult, so I generally just have to guess before I decide to purchase or not).

I have learned so much about style and etiquette from your channel and I have 2 of your books on my shelf. I think you are the most stylish, elegant, gracious and authentic person. I am a 74 year old lady “of significant proportions,”although I’m working on the proportions part.
I simply cannot afford to buy my clothes at regular retail stores. What I don’t buy at thrift stores, I make myself from fabric I bought at a thrift store.
Which does not mean that I am not interested in style. I think it is generally accepted that I am consistently the best dressed woman in my social circle.
And while that is not entirely due to your videos, I have learned a lot from you. I now have a new appreciation of stripes, for example. I’ve been introducing more neutrals into my wardrobe. And I have been able to organize my closet (a major achievement)! Best of all, I have been learning why outfits I picked by instinct actually work, and how I am limiting some outfits by some detail I hadn’t thought about.
So thank you very much for the ideas you share! I hope you are able to continue these videos for a long time.
And finally, your videos are making me want to visit Normandy. It is beautiful.

My twin sister is more the pants and jeans version and I’m more skirt and dresses. Thanks for your honesty as you travel through your body’s changes, inspiring us to accept our life and be grateful for the years we get to experience and approach them in a stylish, classy way.

People can be so rude when they are frustrated or hurt or unhappy with themselves. The size of your following should reassure you that your words and advice are well received.
