Met Nick last night at WWE MITB. Great guy who certainly has the company at heart.

Introducing betting on a scripted program, one that routinely has leaked spoilers, is the dumbest thing ever.

You can actually do something random during match backstage, relay result to referee mid match to determine result. The current ownership group would probably struggle with such responsibility though.

You know whats stupid betting on any sport when they all are rigged and scripted and predetermined and controlled by las vegas and by the organziation it self they sell nba finals and superbowls to citites and ufc and boxing have judges in on the score cards with influence.

Could it be that Cody Rhodes had to lose at Wrestlemania because of the betting, since everybody was expecting him to win. It seems that the gambling is already killing the product for the fans, robbing them of their Wrestlemania feel good moment.

It's foreseeable how betting can be incorporated into wrestling by ethical, accountable owners...but these owners need to be moved on from first, it's laughable...Flipside is competent owner group probably doesn't need gambling...This owner group is like oh we'll make gambling happen, engage more crime overlapping with family marketing...hot damn mess

The thing is with the economy right now sometimes having a job only might not be enough and people need that extra money even if it’s a side hustle like betting some will take that risk I just wonder how WWE is going to make it work.

@@cryptojonny6837 I'm speaking to it can be done, as in there are ways to do it competently. I wouldn't trust wwe, under current owners, to babysit a popsicle in a snowstorm though.
