I miss Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero in the WWE, they never gotten media exposure as other current wwe superstars do now other than John Cena and Randy Orton or even Batista though he is retired from the company, it’s the Triple H and Nick Khan era now times change already and Vince McMahon no longer the boss. Its not 2004 anymore it’s 2024, New Day, Usos, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair, all do outside wwe media stuff than Benoit and Guerrero did in their life time, it’s just a different era now

I don't think I've ever seen a better business man than Nick Khan. The things I've seen him do in his short time at WWE i.e. the merger with TKO, the deal with Saudi, the move to Fox, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, Bad Bunny and now this - have been truly remarkable. All while the stock has exploded and made him a multi multi millionare. Well done, Nick, Vince, WWE, TKO!
Also it is not a coincidence that we have been seeing The Rock more and more recently. This is also Nick Khan leveraging his relationship with him.

Celebrity wing be Hugh Jackman, women’s should be Sable or Melina.

John Cena actually he was the face of the company even during the darkness times in WWE in the wake of the Chris Benoit incident in 2007, that tragedy didn’t stop WWE from declining just because another WWE superstar took the lives of his wife Nancy and Daniel and Benoit himself, this was not Vince McMahon, Linda McMahon, Shane and Stephanie or Triple H fault for the loss of one of their wrestlers, as for Nick Khan he has nothing to say about this and plus he wasn’t in the WWE in 2007 so it make no sense for him to discuss it. Paul Heyman was also ask about Benoit as he was the man that sign him to his ECW back in the mid 1990s.
This is the Khan that really knows how to run a wrestling company! Complete professional inside and out!

For those who don't get it. This is just for live streaming 'Monday Night' RAW in 2025. Peacock still has the deal for WWE Network and legacy content until 2026. Then they will negotiate for certain PLE's to live stream on Netflix.
But the rest of the world is getting everything on Netflix. I’m in the uk and for decades it was pay walled on sky sports and I couldn’t watch much more than highlights as a kid. When it moved to TNT I already had a subscription for the ufc. The cost of tnt has gone up to £29.99 and I was considering cancelling. This all but seals it. I’m going to cancel tnt and the network after mania and I’ll pick it back up in 2025. Great news for fan’s outside of the USA. When it all goes to Netflix globally it is going to be a watershed moment for wwe.

That is true only for the US. In Latin America, Canada and the UK, Netflix would have access to the entire WWE library, not just to Raw.
That includes all the stuff that was on the WWE Network, all the PLEs and live streaming rights for Smackdown and NXT

I was able to get Wrestlemania 39 tickets through Nick Khan. He is such a laid back, yet professional. I’ve known him a long time and he never forgets the small people. One of the greatest moments in my life.

Right now Smackdown is on free network TV, and Peacock streams all the PPV's with paid sub. This Deal is only good for Netflix, people will have to pay more for the same content.

Okay 11 minutes in when Nick says he knew Triple H as Terra Ryzing he gets credit. I alway thought of him as a numbers cruncher as oposed to being an actual fan.

@@NRC613 because WWF/WWE was always available on regular TV, now it's behind a pay wall...it's as tone deaf as the NFL putting games behind a pay wall, it just pisses off fans who can't afford to pay for multiple services to watch shows that were once available from their cable/satellite provider.

This is great news for Tony. Your removing a key rival of his and forcing people to pay to view it. While Tony could switch to Monday and all the people just looking for wrestling for nostalgia will watch aew. Do you think someone going to netflix to binge shows will turn on raw? I don't think so and if they do they will wait till next day to skip the ads, especially if they allow the raws to play after the stream.
@@Purp4040 Raw live will be aired with no ads depending on the netflix tier you paid for. Tony has 3 shows that are all doing poorly ratings wise, Monday won’t work for him.

With 5 billion in profits I hope they stop treating the talent as self employed, so they could circumvent many things a full time would get, including making money outside the WWE.
It is not 5 billion in profits. That is 5 billion in revenue over 10 years or 500 million a year. Its profits will be a goodly bit less than that.

Nope, it will air live. On the US and internationally Netflix will air it on Mondays. And Netflix now has the rights internationally to all the WWE library, so they’ll also air Smackdown, NXT and all the PLEs outside the US live

Nope. The PG rating is for advertisers ie Mattel. It has nothing to do with who their broadcast partner is.
@@chriskay1449 are advertisers not dictated by the network they are on? Netflix has always given creative autonomy to their content creators, so I don’t think it’s just that simple.
@@Bumblebeetunes No. WWE controls its advertisers during it's shows(except for local ad drops). They will not budge from PG because of Mattel. They have a very lucrative toy and merchandise deal with them and getting edgier will lose that deal. They aren't the only ones either. All their ad deals with major mainstream companies is because of PG.
WWE is staying PG. That is what is making them billions.
