hearing someone say that deltarune is better than undertale is just... insane, frankly, deltarune could be one day but its unfinished with undertale undoubtably being tobys magnum opius that wont be surpassed any time soon
I have no doubt, especially after playing Undertale, that Deltarune WILL surpass Undertale even before Chapter 7 releases. Deltarune is already fairly lengthy all things considered and I'm loving the story. Undertale gave me context for things, especially for Sans and him probably being the same Sans in both games.
@@MonikaCinnyRoll i mostly agree and personally i cant wait, i love deltarune and it doesnt look like tobys gonna fall of any time soon, but i do think your glazing a little, dont think its surpassing undertale before the finale considering the best of undertale was in its finale(new home-barrier) , and i expect the same for deltarune, so i think it could surpass undertale during its finale (chapter seven... and potentially after?) but yeah. in the end its mostly opinion based. personally i think its probably just gonna be on the same level of undertale and its a bit unreasonable to set your expectations much further.
@@MonikaCinnyRoll yeah, but most deltarune fans played undertale first and deltarune was made with undertale players in mind, most deltarune players still hold undertale higher despite enjoying it (me personally) so seeing someone who played deltarune first say that deltarune is better is a bit surreal :p

Thats not to say I thought Undertale was bad, not at all. I thought it was PEAK all the way through.
