    Great job, Need to slow your lathe down when sanding it will help keep the heat down also it helps your sanding paper to last longer. Keep up the great work!

    Very nice, but I think I would have tried to stabilize the amboyna with a lot of CA glue so it would not tear out so much.

      Thank you, yes that's right I'm also worried about the cracks that will make a lot of damage to the plate, we'll see how this plate looks for a long time

    excellent.
    pro tip: do not leave linseed oil soaked rags wadded up on a wood floor, you can burn your house down. (almost did it hah)

    Nice work, but you really need to learn how to use a traditional bowl gouge. Those carbide tools are crap.
