Like the contrast, between the oak and the darker wood. I really liked the pattern that showed up just as the darker wood starting coming through.
Thanks Harry.. 🙏
You are a true artist. Wish I had access to all those beautiful woods. Here it is maple, oak, cherry and walnut.
...love the grain in the white oak, and the contrast with the rosewood...simple, elegant and beautiful...👍
Yes, oak wood has a beautiful wood texture, although it is hard wood, it is easy to shape 🙏🙏
Великолепна чаша !!! Невероятна идея, довела до прекрасен резултат !!! Поднасям ти моето искрено възхищение !!! Привет от моята родина България !!!

Thank you, Yes, a mix of light and dark colors
Molto bello.👏👏👏 👋
Wao Nice Wonderful
Thank you 🙏🙏
You could just use half the dark block when you glued up giving you an open end and less waste 👍
Looks beautiful
Thank you 🙏
👍👍👍
🙏
Awesome
Thanks
Very nice design. However, you really want the shoulder of your tenon to rest firmly against the chuck jaws without the center portion bottoming out. You have very little lateral stability the way you’re using it. It would be very easy for your whole project to come off with the slightest catch as you have it.
Thank you for your attention and your input will be very useful for me.. 🙏
great and good work
Thank you 🙏🙏
Thanks for the vid
🙏🙏🙏
that's very cool, but you need a set of 4 or so. nobody wants to drink alone.
Maybe. But imo it's too precious to use. Put on the board and enjoy....
What a design concept. Did you know how it would turn out while assembling the pieces?
Yes, I know because I made the design first
Thats very nice what speed was you buffing the wax at
Lovely piece. What glue did you use to fix the blocks together?
I use aliphatic wood glue
Beatfull
Thanks 🙏
Tenon should have a shoulder. Beautiful work
Thank you 🙏
Out of curiosity, what did you use for the finish?
this is so beautiful. I’m actually planning to do this for one of my class projects. is there any chance you still have the measurements you used for this goblet?
I've found copying the outline of a red wine glass to be a good start for a goblet. Of course, I don't make the stem as thin, and the curve of my bowl will be different. But it's a good start for the volume of the interior and the proportions between the bowl, stem, and foot.
Tell me what type of paint is applied to this cup.
