Great animation. I'd been curious how the launchers/receivers worked, and now I know. Thanks for uploading!

Cool. We use tdw pigs where I work. Just launched one as a matter of fact. We really like the way these pigs run and we love the tdw Pigging closures.

We don't place camera's on our pigs but we do provide several types of inspection tools depending on the type of inspection needed. You can view our full line of inline inspection services on our website as well as our view our inline inspection videos on our TDW CZcams account.

For the receiving part, how do you assure that pig don't slam the closure door?. I know there is a pig signaller, however in this video, you seem to have waited until the pig passes the bypass trap valve, then what is the method to reduce the velocity or how do you control it? The whole objective of my question is find out how to save the pig from slamming the door?

There was a gas gathering pipeline in Texas under construction that somehow shot a pig out of it's line, and it crashed through the side of a home hundreds of feet away. I wish I could post the link here. Too bad they didn't use a pig receiver, none could been seen on the end of the pipeline. The homeowner was kind of sore about it.

There are a few solutions we can offer to help with this problem. First, we would need to know if the dripping is occurring when the traps are closed and under pressure or not. The recommended solutions are different based on this condition.
