Striking distance of what? Let's say they sneak into the playoffs. How far would this team go? This is a rebuild. As jacked as that is, after all the years of finishing last, they are still building this thing. And what does keeping Baez around accomplish? I have always liked Kreidler but honestly the guy gets hurt too much to be counted on. Leonard? Why not. I'd rather find out what he's got than watch Baez flail away at the wind.

Sadly, the issue is 1 player won't do much for this band of hitting misfits. They almost need to replace 6 to 7 guys. It's so unfortunate as this pitching staff is so good. Biaz just needs to be gone after this season. Anyone can hit better than he is.
