#honesttrailers #johnwick - Krátké a kreslené filmy
John Wick climbing all the way up the stairs only to fall the entire way back down might be the greatest bit of physical comedy in an action film ever.
Yep, and did you notice that the stairs weren’t littered with the bodies of everyone he killed on the way up? The dude that cleans up murder scenes is awfully efficient 😂.
They were all at the bottom.
What goes up must come down.
That's the part where the movie started to become ridiculous to me. I mean, come on! He already was thrown out of a multi storey building and now this?
Stupidest scene ever.
The creators really made sure that audiences would hate the Marquis by having him off a fan-favorite character in his first scene and making him French for good measure.
The French was what got me, I could have forgiven everything else except france itself 😂
Having him played by Pennywise doesn’t hurt.
I loved the scene where Ian McShane is walking past all the Paintings to where the Marquis is sitting looking at a painting...That Scene speaks volumes about the absurdity of Art and how the Rich use it to laundry/hide money!
@@theedude2207 i think you are reading too deep into a John Wick movie.
Ngl I hated the chick on the radio way more, and not just because she is black
0:56 "Because he clicked I agree without reading the terms and conditions."
Honestly I think its refreshing that they did so many diverse stair hires.
no what's refreshing is how no one cares. they were just great actors playing great characters. there wasn't some big thing about them
@@TheMeta141 I can't agree. I think the diversnesses really shines in this one. From the short steps to the grand set at the end. There was even a escalator. I mean is it stairs or is it an elevator? 5/5 minimum.
You know what they say about diversity stair hires: Go Inclined, Money Declines
@@TheMeta141 what do you mean? 222 steps of stairs is really BIG
@@SiC_DoUrden I failed to see inclusivity of elevators and disabled person chair lifts.
The stunt doubles who fell down all those stairs deserve a huge raise
They weren't stunt doubles. Keanu just hates people.
He did all his stunts for the movie
They really...stepped up their game in this movie
@@TheShwayman He declined that. He said he did his own action but the stunts were done by stuntmen.
Yeah.
That overhead shootout scene is one of the best action scenes I’ve ever seen in a movie.
that scene was based off the game Hotline Miami. Look it up. You'll love it.
@@IknowIamkindagreat Actually the director said it was based off the video game Hong Kong Massacre, which ironically was itself based off Hotline Miami
Hardcore Agree!
@@mijanhoque1740 over the top shooters always fun. You should play Ruiner. Was awesome
The entire movie was the best action scene i've ever seen
”The least disturbing thing to happen in a German nightclub” BRILLIANT!
My thoughts exactly.
i dont get it
@@vasqu3z893 Google KitKat club.
I am German. From what I heard that is very much true.
I'd love to see an Honest Action review of the John Wick movies by an actual ER doctor to see how many injuries John Wick sustains and how many of them are lethal.
The one that stood out to me was when he was thrown off like four levels at the club and fell hitting his back on concrete halfway down. That’s spine broken and the final landing is 100% death 🤣
Thoroughly enjoyed the movie though lol
Wired, insider and GQ do interviews with specialists who review movie scenes one surgeon did the self surgery from the 3rd one and didn't care much for it
There is a CZcams channel where a doctor does that with movies and TV shows.
@@TheAeris07 Do you know the name of the channel?
Dr mike def has one for the original john wick
That abandoned house scene with the bird's eye view is the best part of the movie. Hands down!
The action sequence in the stairs is very close tho
The scene at the roundabout was pretty awesome
Literally all 3 finale set pieces in Paris are the 3 best set pieces the franchise has ever had back to back to back. It's really incredible.
YES! It's called an isometric view and goddamn I lost my mind when that happened.
yeah when i watched i totally felt like it was some isometric videogame, it was so dope.
The Lance Reddick Tribute...Rip to a real one🙏
Would've been his birthday soon too. 😔🙏🏾❤️🕊️
I did not know he had passed till about 20 seconds ago 😢
It made me go wtf when they killed charon cause i know lance passed away a week before the movie came out talk about akward foreshadowing 😬
He never did get his iconic slave role, did he?
Lost it at “The veneers or the tanning bed…. One of them has got to go” 😂🤣😂
so good guys. So good
what I love is they all know how deadly he is and still wait in a line to get killed by him.
Self-Preservation or 40 Million to kill one guy. I can understand why that gets shaky when you think about it.
it's like getting a celebrity autograph.
They want the money
@j.d.williams5560 those aren't worth what they used to be 😂😂 People have realized how shitty most celebs are
Hey, the guy is the world's best assasin, but he's been hit by a car 5 times in the last 30 minutes - and if you are the one to get a lucky shot, you'll never have to work again.
That overhead shoot was the best action scene ever. I hope they win some awards for this movie or something they deserved it.
That was pretty cool really
It was definitely cool but Spielberg did it first
@@VishalMighty Yeah, and someone else pointed a camera at people to film their acting first. Doesn't mean anything.

Best part of the movie.
The aerial gunfight camera scene like video gaming is seriously mind blowing!! The cameraman surely deserves an Oscar for that!!
stairs played such a fantastic role in this movie ❤ i hope they win an award

That was awesome.
I'm not ashamed to admit that I full-on clapped & cheered! 🥳
Honestly I love when they find an excuse to bring back that recurring gag
He should be doing stairs for The Batman (Battinson)
Stares, flares, stairs… man we need a movie about chairs!
The color grading in this movie is phenomenal. Hats off to the color grading team; they deserve an Oscar.
exactly this,
especially the shot of John standing outside of the japanese continental in that red light, perfection
Shame the movie is a shitshow
Yeah the cinematography, editing, sound design, camerawork, colour grading, art design, set design, costumes etc are fantastic. This film is aesthetic poetry in motion.
Pure stylistic art at its visual best..
@@master-of-mind5881 it is too much. i'm half way through JW4 - I'm not enjoying this. This coming from someone who's seen JW1 sooo many times
@@master-of-mind5881I cannot tell whether this is sarcasm or genuine (if overblown) compliment for an action flick
3:52 You know stairs are designed with landings every 15 steps so that people CAN'T fall all the way down... you have to try really hard to do that 😆
Huh, I never knew that.
If you are moving very fast though in a kind of rolling position you could easy keep falling.
Kinda looks like he rolled down on purpose.
@@lkangarooyeah looked like he was having fun😂
"making the stunt man really earn his paycheck"
"arnt u supposed to tap lands first?"

R.I.P. to Lance Reddick for real for real. But yeah, the puns were definitely on point describing this film. Definitely an all time classic.

Kinda surprising he died in the film and real life.

@@ryankelly9032 Tracker first observes and protects the victim of a contract so the price can go way higher and then he kills him and collects the money. But in this instance he helps John Wick because he saved his dog in that anandoned house.
You just know that Mr. Nobody is some writer's self-insert. He:
-bests everybody he fights against and gets a bunch of cool scenes from it
-almost bests John Wick himself, and gets out alive
-has a dog, because John also has a dog, and is equally obsessed with it.
-succesfully extorts Marquis
-decides on his own to help John, even though it makes no sense
-faces zero consequences for either trying to kill John or betraying the Table
-can be removed from the plot entirely and it changes nothing
The cinematography is amazing in this movie. I really hope it’s nominated
The lack of police response and bystanders caring about all the murder has given me a theory that this world isn't ours and some alternate one where the assassins are pretty mainstream and like a World Power and its just common place, hence why so many people are in on it and why it seems to be so normal to the rest
The fact that the dead bodies kept disappearing like a video game in the stairs scene? Or that the traffic never stopped during the arc scene? Or was it wick bouncing unharmed from multiple giant falls?
There’s always been that Walter Hill surrealism/uncanny energy, they just made his influence more obvious by lifting a character wholesale from The Warriors.
It is not too far fetched or that unbelievable, counting that John Wick is pretty much unkillable at this point.
@@jesus1021 Well...
@@thehousecat93 what's the warriors?
This film is the reason the Oscars need a stunt category, absolutely stunning work throughout.
The story and acting are so stupid, so the movie only exists for stunts, which are great, if not laugh out loud idiotic.
It'll probably until John Wick 6 when we might see that category
Should've existed when The Raid came out
@@earnthis1 too many friends of mine disagree with your statement. I couldn't agree more. And honestly its like the writers wanted the story to be cheesy because they easily could have made things a little more plausible.
@Lyle Hawkyard learn to have some fun, not everything needs to have a purpose or a moral message. People watch john wick because it's campy and over the top action, and that's what people get with this movie
"and continue running the score board with the hearing and visually impaired" that one really got me laughing 😂😂
Can't wait for John Wick to fight Tony Jaa in a wheelchair.
2 things im feel quite funny in this movie
- constant falling through multiple levels of stairs
- german night club keep dancing while there are fighting and murder scene happening
I really just need a compilation video of John throwing his gun at people through all of the movies. Pretty sure he was aiming for a trophy (and got it lol).
I laughed everything I saw him throw his gun
They gave him a 21 bullets gun and he still shot 27 bullets hahahahha
Seems like one signature John Wick thing is he ALWAYS reloads his gun when his clip is out, and if he can't find ammo he just throws it lol
😂😂😂😂😂
🏆 Gunslinger
The "staaaaaaaiiiirrsss" with the music had me reeling, because my very first Honest Trailer was the one about Twilight with the line "the romance of a lifetime, entirely expressed in staaares" with exactly that music. Love it.
Yas! The truly got me with the "staaaaaaiiiiirrssss"!
Whats the name of the music/bgm?
Come for the stares, stay for the flares, enjoy the stairs.
The Godzilla one also had that STAREESS section with the same song
Thank you! Was about to search for that! Damn this took me back!!
Human Throw Pillow😂
The "stairs" joke caught me off-guard so hard, well done bringing me back to my Twilight Honest Trailer days
I liked the addition of the kevlar laced suits for the bad guys because it shows that John isn't the only one with that kind of stuff, so he has to deal with enemies who are basically on par with his nonsense with their own.
The logic isn't consistent. At the same time they nerfed the High Table body armour (that's supposed to be top-of-the-line). Come 4 JW doesn't even need armour-piercing weaponry to dispatch them.
John Wick switched from region locked to level scaling i think.
It justified people using bow and arrows.
@@evangelostse2477 he was going for gaps, some of them took several rounds to the face and only got disoriented
Kevlar alone does not let you tank bullets, especially at point-blank range or from high-calibre weaponry. To approach that level of protection, you need a hard armour element (i.e. steel or ceramic plates wrapped within kevlar like what's issued to most militaries), and even then you can't just shrug off five or six rounds to the chest from 10 yards. Those suits in the John Wick films have to be made of fictional or experimental materials in order to be that durable while also being soft.
RIP Lance Reddick. The best concierge for the Best Continental. It has indeed been an honour.
If you listen carefully on a cold, wet night, you can still hear John rolling down those stairs. Dope movie!
This gets an upvote for the “stairs” reference and music to the farewell to Mr. Riddick. Both had me in the feels…
The Marquis was definitely the villain that I wanted John to kill the most in the series!
That adjudicator in 3rd part was unbearable for me
The Marquis was based

What about the guy who killed his dog?
No
"It would be straight up unfair if he could see..." Yeah, Donnie Yen is a beast. 😂😂
That motion detector scene!
@@kimbellern It was so cool.
LOL, yeah, there is no way anyone can win if his character could see.
@@jelita_ Nope. He's too fast. 😁
The "stairs" had was incredible! It's a bit of a deep cut back to OG honest trailers but so worth it!
I'm so glad you mentioned the car damage. Even while watching, it got so silly I started keeping count! 😅
I was more concerned about the zero fall damage
me too it was 7
It was still great! Insanely crazy, but fun all the waaaayyyy! Staring: staaaiiiirrrrsss! 😂😂😂
Sad to say they went far overboard with the "Wick has godmode activated" in this film. Looked cool sure, but unlike most of the scenes in the other films this just was "yeah right..so hes okey but the other guy almost died...makes sense".
@@philipberggren1823 It'd be nice if in the first movie they went ahead and revealed he's an enhanced human, and that's why he's capable of taking ridiculous hits and falls but still can get killed by a gunshot.
3:37 I have never felt weirder about laughing through an action sequence than I did during John getting consecutively hit by car after car in the "Minutes until Paris Sunrise" chase. Having re-watched the previous JW Honest Trailers (several times) and remembering when Epic Voice Guy pointed out his unexplained immunity to getting hit by cars, seeing the obvious zero f*cks given by Chad & Co. about logic at this point and just going all in on that trope, which was then followed up by him falling down all those stairs, was hilarious to watch, even if I did keep saying to myself "I should *not* be laughing at this!" 😅😆
Please don't feel bad. It is pure Looney Tunes and the filmmakers know this. The filmmakers even put a 10 hour loop of John Wick falling down the stairs on CZcams.
@@Suzanne_sf Mmm, that's certainly an accurate way to describe it, and yeah no don't worry I was having fun with it for sure; the unabashed hilarity of it all outweighed any small seed of guilt I had. 😆And oh my God, really? Lmao, I'll have to search that up!
Edit: Holy sh*t, you weren't kidding about that 10 hour edit. Wow...that's a move of focus, commitment and sheer will right there. 😉😏🥁

I cant believe they turned the stares segment from twilight into stairs, genius!
Also from Agents of SHIELD! 😂
Also from Joker and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
It's either Stares or Stairs
Also lens flares from Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness
This made it sound even more fun. Stuntmen in the movie(s) are definitely earning their keep !
The stairs (stares) callback was wonderful! 😂
Fast & Furious constantly wants you to be impressed with cool stunts. John Wick just does something cool, and you're impressed.
They're both pushed past their limits of ridiculousness
I couldn't finish it. It just looks laughable now.
Bro the "stairs" bit killed me 🤣
Ok the "stairs" part killed me with the Twilight music that this channel played for years with their corny 'stares'.
10/10
Forget the dancing, I love how in Paris there's a firefight going on in the middle of the street with multiple car crashes and nobody bothers to look up from their outdoor café table conversations. That was the hardest part of the suspension of disbelief in this movie.
When you mentioned 'stairs', I instantly hoping for the dramatic 'stares' soundtrack and you didn't disappoint. Bravo!
Ok but Donnie Yens’ Octuple punch followed up by a triple-winded uppercut is something else.
Oh man that was so dope
Agreed
0:50 "He clicked I agree without checking the terms and conditions" cracks me up :)
Man, the STAIRS montage return made me shed a tear! So nostalgic!!!
Fantastic callback to the Twilight “stares” running bit. It was an iconic part of the HT’s for those movies and we got to relive the musical queue in this one
I really like these new Matrix movies. I mean they nerfed his ability to fly, but at least Morpheus is still around.
but this current Matrix movie is actually good unlike Resurrections.

The fall damage was inspired by The Matrix.
He has the ability to roll on stairs.
So glad everyone's favorite honest trailer montage music is finally back
Apparently, it was Donnie Yen's idea for a blind character AND in a suit. The team originally called for him to be a stereotypical East Asian character but he refused the role until they could change it. He wanted the character to be original but with an interesting background.
The Dragon's Breath and Arc De Triomphe scenes were two of the best action scenes ever in Hollywood movies
What about the knife shop fight in John Wick 3?
@@jackbaxter2223 The Knife Shop Fight in JW3 was AWESOME! I just recently found out that the Glass in all the Display cases was CGI! It was done so perfectly that I didn't even notice it! 👍

"GET OVER HERE and have a pleasant stay" killed me
I knew it would only be a matter of time before Donnie Yen ended up in this franchise and I wasn't disappointed!
One of the funniest honest trailers I've seen in a while! Sooo good!

May I add that they brought back the Stares theme for the stairs fall?

The stairs scene killed me 😭
It seemed like it killed a lot of people
It's been a long time I haven't heard the theme
After a plethora of action setpieces, the tensest moment of this film is seeing John trying to protect two people and defeat one enemy without being bulletproof. It is the modern equivalent of Bond escaping Goldfinger's laser entanglement: no toys or gadgets, just a powerful intellect, and raw cunning.

John Wick is pure unadulterated awesomeness.
This movie is a Masterpiece....The Warriors and Hotline Miami homages to the insanly inventive actions scenes put a straight up smile on my face
It is a beautiful movie, in addition to the action. The overhead shot is something I have never seen before in a movie.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I full-on clapped and cheered when Screen Junkies brought back the iconic "Stares" music for John Wick's stairs! 👏🎉
I also loved "Larry the Table Guy." 😆
The tabletop view shootout was the best of the series.....
But you could see Keanu struggle with some of the stunts especially the constant latching with the legs...I think there's a long scene in which John is struggling to wrap his legs around the stuntman hands and he's just calmly standing to be toppled.
That made him a good character,he's tired for real but he doesn't give up
Yeah, the fight scene in Japan at the beginning is very slow at certain points.
Yup he’s gotten old now. Which is why I believe there should not be any more sequels with Keanu in it.
@Aditya Waghmare he's much better then young actors they could had used fast cuts but they didn't. He's top 5 action actors in my opinion
@@hossbeki9266 true but enough is enough.
Can confirm - stairs worst enemy
You can't kill the bearer of your maker in the John Wick universe, but you can kill the person who challenges you to a duel before the duel begins.
Makes perfect sense.
It does make sense because there's no rule that forbids the killing of their chosen fighters and it is the responsibility of their respective families to protect their own.
@@ViolentCabbage-ym7ko The same could be said of the marker, but it's not the case because, plot device.
John was already declared excommunicado. Anybody could kill him at any time in any place without consequence. That doesn't hold for someone who bears your marker. And until John reached the dueling area, he was still unprotected and could therefore be killed at will.
Fast and Furious: It's all about Family
John Wick: It's all about Dogs and Dawgs 5:28
Really liked that “Stairs” joke. Chef’s kiss.
Have to tell you right when Keanu uttered the first YEAH of this movie i burst out laughing clapping maniacally in the theatre
Writer: we're making a new John Wick movie
Director: what do you need?
Writer: stairs, lots of stairs
Falling down the whole set of stairs was more unbelievable than the falling out of the building or getting hit by the cars. Even an unconscious person would stop rolling after a few stairs.
AH ha! See, there is a down side to those suits.
How exactly though? An unconscious person would probably not be able to fall down a straight line to avoid damaging themselves and therefore go off trail and stop. A conscious person will keep on falling because they cannot arrest that momentum unless they hit something or come upon a flat surface where the next roll doesn't pull you down.
And either way, the entire premise of the movie series is stylized silly action. The point is to entertain. Were you not?
I haven't seen the movie yet but it just looked like they were searching for the next set to continue rolling. 😂😂
I think he was trying to put some distance between himself and the goons, so he would have few seconds to regroup…plus if he stopped moving too close to them they could potentially get a head shot…
2:56 "Like a fvcking camper" got me :D
"They killed his dawg, dawg, Damm dawg, RIP to a real one" lol
😂😂 That's what always got me is how people kept dancing instead of running while folks were getting shot around them. 😂😂
The quintessential model for creating the perfect evil villain was to make sure said evil villain had a full-scale model of a city and was also really good at playing the Hotline Miami video game.
and is also either Russian, German or French

The best part about having a completely unrecognizable Scott Adkins, is that you can have him play another character in the next film.
Didn't know was him till after. He should of been a much bigger star then he was. Peaked at the wrong time.
at 1:40 - 1:50 I almost died laughing. honestly, the john wick trailers are by far the most hilarious.
the stairs part is so good man (twilight chills)
6:00 - absolutely phenomenal reprise of the stares music! Best recurring gag tbh
I absolutely thought about Hotline Miami and I absolutely loved it, for me it was an incredibly fantastic sequence.
OMG "STAIRS" what a callback with a wordplay to top it off ;p love you guys, always
Thanks for your unconditional love and support I really appreciate you where are you located ?
"because he clicked I agree without reading the terms and conditions" a true gangsta
The scene in the end where he falls down like 7 flights of stairs had me crying in the theater. I thought it was hilarious
Also, you can see the stunt person like literally looking for and jumping towards the next flight because they could have stopped at any landing XD
That dude with the dog just felt like he was there for the purpose of just being there. If he wasn't in the movie nothing much would have changed.
Considering he saved John's life like 3 separate times... Something definitely would have changed....
The Nobody guy was there mainly because of the dog connection. They both loved dogs. That's it.
and it's a John Wick movie- it needed a dog :)
Honestly he kinda highlighted a bigger problem for me. No one ever tries to simply snipe John.
For the "Stairs" clip reel, you didn't include the scene where Akira stabs a guy multiple times in the back while he crawls up a set of stairs. I was looking forward to seeing that again lol. Still awesome though. 😄
If I’m John Wick, the LAST thing I’m putting in my house is a single set of stairs.
