He likes things that are well done/made. And also loves history. As well as expressing his deeply embedded inner angst, with pretend stabby things. It was basically made FOR him.

Hopefully it's a better game too; I love all the games in the Assassins Creed series but Unity is just too flawed.

And I hope they have a female assassin in the next one. I think that'd be really cool.
That'd be interesting. I never really felt the need for a female protagonist, but it'd make for an interesting change, especially for female players who might be tired of playing predominately male characters.
Though I doubt it'll happen while male gamers make up a large majority of players, and Ubisoft is probably going to play it safe after how poorly Unity was received.
Yes I agree, but you never know. It'd be an interesting change in the series. I feel like they could do a lot with a female protagonist that'd be very different and unique from what they've done with the male characters. Even though all of their backstories have been pretty awesome already.

Ultra Window Yeah, I got that feeling too, I mean it’s obvious that the publishers paid them to do it, but it seems more biased now compared to the earlier episodes. Also is less entertaining in my opinion.
It uses an Arkham style combat system, which means button mashing works up to a certain point, but becomes ineffective later on.

I understand it when they do it with Roman and ancient Greek stuff, but not for the other historic places. this british in France thing was also distracting in the movie Hugo.

I've played every songle Assassin's Creed and so far this one is the best. And it's the most challenging. This was obviously set up special for him.

Conan is actually a better game reviewer than most professional reviewers. He comments on the game just as it is, not about how the gameplay has changed or how much worse/better it is than its predecessor. Countless gamers have also pointed out the British accent that all the French people in the game have, which kinda ruins the beautiful and immersive atmosphere of the game. I wouldn't be surprised if everyone in London has a French accent in the upcoming AC: Victory.

I'd say those of us who have been playing games for years, especially the previous AC games - we have become slightly desensitised to the absolutely stunning visuals in the game. So when you watch Conan (a non gamer) see and react to all the amazing scenery and gameplay, its almost like rediscovering video games all over again. I'm very proud of this industry.
well you should also disappointed in the industry for releasing broken games.
All of that is pointless when that change in the industry brought us glitchy games with day one patches and minimal player input.

TokyoKazama I, personaly, was refering to recent gaming state in general. All of these big budget game are trying to be more "cinematic" and try to push the limits of graphics. Yet, they release glitchy unfinished games cause they are trying to impress us with visuals, and waste too much resources. The games are also getting more simplistic by the year. I get the feeling that they are designing the games for idiots or lazy assholes. Seriously, its like 50% percent of the games consist of cutscenes. And even then, when you do play, its a QTE sequence or you just have to mash one button (maybe two if you are lucky). And not to mention some devs (specificaly Ubisoft) even try to claim that 30 fps is better for action games, cause it is more cinematic...fuck that, i dont want a movie i want a game!...i am not stupid Ubi, just admit that the new consoles are underpowered!

It is my second time watching this while being in the process of playing my first Assassin's Creed II game myself because I just want to have more of an understanding than I did before and watching this again made it twice as hilarious! I will never be tired of watching this. Ever.

Ubisoft is a French Canadian company yet they couldn't do French accents?? I imagine you could just play the game in French with English subtitles.
Just a Poptart I heard an interview from Assassin's Den and Arno's actor said something about how they used English accents to be sure they wouldn't alienate the players or something. Guess they didn't think we would scrutinize about things like that.

Travis Moehring even the traversing of the world is easy and hand holdy. You just hold a button and you can run across rooftops and jump between them.
Well, this video is nearly 5 years old, so that means we now have laptops that can run anything from that era.
With the rate of change of technology, this should be mobile by 2021-2022. The 2020's are gonna be insane. The World is changing before my very eyes. I'm 41 btw.

On a technical level Unity was superb, however it lacked everything else. Story wasn't great, wasn't as fun or as dark as the others.

Gamerat I'm talking graphically and the feel. I wasn't plagued with glitches at all, cant remember one happening to me. If you ignore that stuff I think they did a good job with the textures and feel to the streets.
