This was always the best formula: Aaron earnestly explaining the game to Conan, who couldn't possibly care less and just wants to shoot something and/or make things awkward. 10/10!
I can't believe Clueless Gamer outlived Conan's show. Not only that but we get an episode with just Conan and Bley like old times. Truely magical.

Only returned because they found a sponsor in samsung. If they didn't had a sponsor, it wouldnt have happened... shame Conan doesnt have a show anymore.

Its always sponsors bro. If its not Samsung TV then its the game they play, or the console they use. Its not a coincidence they always play the latest most popular AAA titles. Nothing wrong about this though, its just how it works

I think the main differences between the older Clueless Gamer episodes and now is that *someone* gave him a mandate to (1) stop sexualizing the female characters to a creepy level (even for me and I love Conan AND a good time lol), and (2) stop harming Blay so bad that he has to go to the doctor for special bruise cream 🤣

Conan's on-the-spot roasts of modern games are unironically the refreshing voice of criticism the industry needs. And the bits are hilarious
What gamedev doesn't love some think-aloud during playtesting? 😁
As long as they keep playing video games which are not blatant sponsorships by the producers (EA, Activision, etc) then chances are, it'll be good. Conan would have to be careful about his criticisms of something if he is being paid to "play" it. A lot of those previous Clueless Gamer episodes which featured another celebrity were obviously marketing stunts. This format with Aaron is the best. Just let him pick the video games and let Conan do his thing free of the pressure to not be too critical or else he upsets the video game producer and developer.
Conan's lack of interest and experience with modern gaming means that no other gamer is actually taking him seriously, therefore it's really not going to upset the sale of any video game he plays or spectates. We just like to hear Conan express his perspective in his own unique way since many of us enjoy video gaming and might not look at the video game in the same way he does, given he doesn't even understand what is going on most of the time.

Conan would def be an incredibly streamer. Sure he probably wouldn't make it thru the first five minutes but those five minutes would be an absolute gem.

@@Pauly421 Quite the contrary, IMO the fact that this makes me laugh without a laugh track, proves that it's truly funny. Canned laughter is a cheap psychological trick abusing the fact that humans are group animals (the trick sadly works somewhat, even if you try to resist it)
@@shredd5705 Yeah fake laughter can be horrible I agree, but the old episodes used to be played to a live audience as part of the show and recorded their reaction, thus making it not "canned" but genuine. I enjoyed it myself.

When Aaron is explaining the story of Plague Requiem it's so immersive it's like Conan is actually there dealing with the plague.

they've done the cuts of Bley explaining games to Connan while he dozes off only a million times but it never fails to make me crack up because it's so relatable when explaining games to my non-gaming friends
Hah absolutely. But explaining a game with a story makes waay more sense than saying “you’re a car and you have to jump and flip to hit a ball and score a goal” 🤣🤣
This one especially made no sense blays explanation sounded like a fever induced drug trip so I don't blame Conan for zoning out lol

Hope you bring this back full time, such an easy segment for conan to do that brings us all a lot of joy as we fall out of our chairs laughing. Only thing that could make it better is perhaps a longer run time. This isn't tv we don't need it edited down to the perfect parts, I am sure even the slower parts would still be very enjoyable to watch.

I'm from France and the realism from A Plague Tale is truly amazing. I use to hide in tall grass just like this, especially when I heard anybody speak German.
I can confirm. As a German in France‘s beautiful but grassy landscapes you rarely meet any French people.
It's not for nothing that the dominant stereotype of the french is someone crouching in tall grass. thats why we call you frogs, because theres frogs in tall grass occasionally.

I cannot express how excited I was to see this pop up in my feed again. I’ve rewatched so many Clueless Gamer episodes with friends and STILL laugh out loud watching them. This duo’s chemistry is unmatched even without celebrities and I sincerely hope we get more episodes in the future!!

When the world needed them the most, they returned! Also my wife fully understands Conan's overwhelming frustration when Aaron explains the backstory to a game. Definitely teared up, glad to see yall back on the gaming scene.

what amazes me so much about these recent clips is that they are still so cool and watchable without any laugh track
every other show just loose their soul without their laugh track
they used to be shown to the audience at the show and you would hear their actual laughter but this is post tv show, this is basically the home made team coco version

Just like how during the pandemic a lot of the homemade versions of talkshows didn't work, but Conan was consistently funny.
Because most of the jokes in the other shows were bad but people were forcefully laughing, Conan is genuinely funny and that's why he don't need those to make a fun show. With audience or without, he'll always make people laugh
