    Great video. Was wondering. Did this make any big changes to geometry, castor or pinion angle or shock extensions. I am trying to decide on just doing this level kit with 1 inch spacer for the rear. Want to do a lift with least component swaps. Thanks in advance

    Not rock crawling, just want to camp and get where offroad I want to go. So the reinforced frame and nicer riding suspension is a plus for me. I think 35s and aev 2"lift is going to be perfect for me. Maybe a quality cloth bed topper with roll up bed cover.

    The Mojave is def over looked, especially from the Rubi owners, lol. I went out on two trails and this thing is a champ. I did not climb a boulder or anything, lol. but did climb some major hills and then had fun in a creek bed when it was in (Off road +) thats like a mini turbo when its in that mode. But this is exactly what i would like to do to mine.

    Great video & just subscribed !! .. I ordered this kit for my Mojave today ... Curious as the Mojave sits an inch taller than the other models from the factory .. Did this kit raise the front to where its making the rear squat a bit, or did it end up just right? .. Have not seen any profile shots of the Mojave leveled with the teraflex 1.5 kit .. This video is the only footage I've found .. Wondering if just the 1inch puck would be sufficient .. Any input, measurements or profile shots would be greatly appreciated ...

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  Před 2 lety +1

      I put the full 1.5in Teraflex kit on the front and if I recall it was left with .25 or .5in of rake still. It just kind of depends, if you are doing to be towing or hauling a lot it might be worth only putting the 1in level in so you have a little more room to squat down before the front it higher than the rear if that makes since. Where did you have to trim the steel bumper to get it to work with the Mojave skid plate? Did you have to finish the cut edges with anything?

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  Před 2 lety

      I had to trim quite a bit off the bottom of the bumper where it met up with the skid plate, I did add some black paint to the cut edge of the bumper to help with rust. Thanks for the view!

    I just got my Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. Wished i would have picked up the Willy EcoDiesel instead. I so wanted to do so much upgrade, i feel like the Rubicon was a waste because of what it comes with and I’m pretty sure, I’ll get rid of most of parts.

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  Před 2 lety +2

      The Rubicon comes with so much great parts that I think you made a great choice, the locking axles, the 4:1 tcase, high clearance fenders, disconnecting sway bar. All of this make the Rubicon special vs. all of the other trim levels. Thanks for the view!

    Hey Tyler awesome video
    Looking to put in leveling kit on my Mojave ( not much info out there)
    Do the shocks need extension brackets?
    If is it basic bolt in?
    Thank you

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  Před 2 lety +1

      If it is only a 1in or 1.5in leveling kit like the teraflex kit you can probably get away without shock extensions, but you will loose a little bit of down travel in the suspension, if it were my personal Jeep and wanted it level I would probably go with the teraflex leveling kit since it has bump stop extensions and then find some front shock extension brackets to correct the shock length.
      I normally am not a big fan of shock extensions and would just recommend shock replacement but the Mojave shocks are awesome and most aftermarket shocks would be a downgrade, so in the Mojave case, the extensions would be a great option. Thanks for the view!

    Do you feel the larger all terrain tires are more sensitive to road imperfections or road crown
    Or is it just the characteristic of a solid front axle vehicle

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  Před 2 lety

      A little bit of both, a larger/wider tire will defiantly be affected more with road crown and will tend to grab cracks or groves in the road more easily, but a solid axle vehicle will tend to do the same since both wheels are affected when one or the other is hit with a bump. But even still with the 35's and lift they still drive really really nicely. Thanks for the view!

    Did you notice much of a difference with the "cold" air intake? I have a 21 Mojave, and have been starting to ponder doing some light mods to it, and I really like the approach you took here. Nothing over-the-top, but just some small functional improvements.

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  Před 2 lety
