    That was really cool! The last one looks like it could be used for some sort of gun barrel on a vehicle or spaceship.

    Hey Mike, thanks for the tutorial as always! This could have helped out greatly a few years back, but I've still learnt a lot about pipes today! Haha!
    Just a quick question about Booleans though, won't that make a mess of the topology and cause smoothing to go bananas?

      Yes, Boolean can create problems but I usually cleanup my mesh before UVing and texturing anyway

      Oh topology certainly matters specially when animating or texturing
