- The NP200 is a true Mzansi workhorse with no competition in its segment. It is an affordable option for buyers who are looking for a day to day bakkie that won't break the bank. Available in a 1.5 dci diesel and 1.6 petrol variants. This would be toyota hilux's nightmare if it was a 1 tonne truck.
Np200 1.6 SAFETY + AC
engine: 1.6 4-cylinder
power: 64kw and 128nm of torque
fuel consumption: 8.1l/100km (5.3l/100km diesel)
price: starts from R200 0000 - Auta a dopravní prostředky
This car is embodies everything wrong with the Renault Nissan Alliance. It's a rebadged Dacia/Renault Logan Pick-up from 2004 still being sold in 2022!!! Even with the whole market to themselves, they haven't bothered refreshing/Improving it since 2009. Its great for fleets but as a private buyer, I'm not spending R210K for the EXACT SAME car that was R106k in 2009. You're literally paying for wages and not a better product. I'll take my chances with another Pre-2012 Corsa Utility. Great Video BTW.
Hit the nail on the head
Had to give mine up, lovely car this. I had mine for 5 years never had a single issue
Did hear right “Chows petrol like it’s Savana😂😂😂😂”
Very Strong Bakkie, can Handle all kinds of Abuse, but High Fuel Consumption.
Keep up the good work 👍
Your support for the channel keeps me going
@@MuziSambo keep up the good work
As for the petrol one chowes Petrol like is savannah I'm with you there😂😂
"Chows petrol like its Savanna"😭😭🤣🤣
He lied
Only when it's new, but after it reaches 20k it becomes better, currently I'm on 35k and I'm happy with the consumption
The fuel consumption on the np200 is crazy depending how you drive
Was that really funny
Owned the 8V variant, slave cylinder gave up at 100k kilometers. The after market replacement does not last that long ☹
And 2024 they decide, hey we don't have competition. Shut that down. We need some competition
Is there a video for the Chevrolet Utilty. I really want to compare the 2
The half tonner segment was at its peak in the mid 2000,s. Fiat has the strada, there was something called a proton and the ones u mentioned
We need more half tonne bakkies on the market, we can't just be stuck with the Np200
The Nissan np200 will be discontinued in March 2024 that's sad news it will leave no half tonners in the segment
R16 000 for aircon ...wtf ?
Muito interessante se viesse um tipo desse pro Brasil, uma camionete com cara de Renault Logan.
Am actually looking for one to buy right now. Any tips on stuff I should look out for before buying?
In South Africa there is no pick up van that is reliable just go by a 1 ton van then you will have peace of mind .by the time you finish pay off that np200 you will be paying machine every weekend for repairs this thing is not made to last
The NP200 was the second best selling bakkie in SA, it beat Ford to take 2nd place. Figures never lie, it is a top class worker, just very overpriced for half a car.
`you very overpriced
You very Overpriced
Yes I agree the np200 is very decent even with the high fuel consumption etc
I'm looking for a 1.5 d variant.. I love this car for I wanna push a side hustle.
Heard that diesels break all the time...infact I was told this by the salesman at the Nissan dealer
same, but if im not mistaken didnt he say this variant starts at R160 000, 00 this is much more expensive than the petrol variant
My man here has experienced the savanna he bought being drunk like ot was water in the desert
It doesn't even have a radio ?. What was nissan thinking???
Great video as always but you didn't cover the cost of ownership am really interested on buying this one
I have one and have repaired it a little it's cheaper to maintain. Doesn't break the bank on its car parts
And fills the tank with R1000 and less depending on petrol prices
The np200 is cheaper to run but doesn't break the bank on spare parts
It’s how much?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣"pay to service the car from day 1"🤣🤣🤣🤣
High petrol consumption and breaks cam belts at low km,s
My np200 is on 200k kilos, it's very reliable but the interior is horrible and bad fuel economy
It's a workhorse NOT 🚫 a sportscar... If you looking for a nice interior... Get a Merc or a Porsche...👀
It's fuel consumption is bad. Almost the same fuel consumption as a haval jolion and a renault koleos which are way bigger that this bakkie. Damn
If you close the bed with a cover you will great fuel economy
@@kopanokhumalo4344 neh?
Isn't the diesel variant comes with a turbo?
It's discontinued
Yes but you'll have to find a second hand one
Yes it has but it's discontinued find a used one
Is chevrolet utility a good option
Yes in the used market
Why is the diesel varient so expensive?
Because it can last till you die
Hi
Iam.looking for A white bakkie Np200 with window canopy R75000.00 cash it must be clean and good service history.
Heavy on fuel donno about the diesel
No service plan🙆🙆
If you ever feel useless remember there are speaker grills in the doors
Its a workhorse for good sake... If you are looking for luxury features... Get a Merc or a Porsche.... This is a workhorse... And NO!!! Mine doesn't chow petrol like a Savannah 😅
Lazy bakkie this one
No ways paying for a service for a new car it's a SCAM!!
My polo vivo also didn't come with a service plan. I've been paying for service from day one
@@MuziSambo the service on your polo vivo and the np200 bakkie is both payable understand it
UGLIEST BAKKIE ON THE MARKET!
For a workhorse I think it looks OK...nothing too special, just OK🤷♂️
Do you even have the money to buy it
@@jnr5955 Yes, I do, but I don't want it for free. It is extremely ugly! The ugliest modern bakkie probably on our roads. I wonder if they could've made it uglier...
@@MyMarnus it looks very good when you go for the top spec model and modify it
Well, seeing that it was South Africa's second best selling bakkie nobody cares for the UGLY looks.... dream on.
It’s how much?
R230k for the safety pack spec no A/C
