- Though enjoyed by fans, Critics & newcomers to the IP struggled with FNAF The Movie. Let's have a go at changing that! I hope you enjoy.

Problems: Not that much screentime of the animatronics trying to get into Mike's office and try to kill him, and the only animatronic attacking for most of the film is Foxy but overall I give it a minus A but if these problems were fixed, then it would be a A plus.
Mike was just sleeping most of the time. I know damn well I wouldn't be sleeping in a pizzeria full of possessed animatronic animals, I'd be wide awake with a weapon nearby. I do hope they'll improve with the 2nd film, considering we will most likely get the Toy Animatronics and the horror potential with them(Especially Mangle and Puppet) has to be utilized!
I feel like the fort scene was unnecessary and should have probably been replaced with what you’re talking about.
For me it’s a d+
I mean the movie was based on the books and in the books we barely see the animatronics so in my opinion it’s good
*CUPCAKE*
I definitely prefer how you made Garrett’s disappearance take place within the pizzeria instead of some random camping site. I also love how you inserted more of the game’s version of Michael’s backstory with him scaring Garrett away with the animatronics, causing him to feel personally guilty for his brother’s disappearance. Your take on William Afton was really good as well! Though, I do have some issues with this rewrite. One of them being that Golden Freddy doesn’t do anything and is only slouched in a corner in one scene. (At least he rides a cab in the official movie.) However, I still think that this rewrite is great in its own way regardless! Great job!
I think the random campsite was a reference to how a few of the kids in the games were kidnapped outside the pizzeria in the games. Also from what I understand there will be two more FNAF movies as stated by the actors. What I would like to know in the movie is how Mike didn't know anything about Freddies in the actual film? Was it because he and his sister had recently moved there or was it something else?
I see where you’re coming from. However, even with that being said, I still think that the story of the film would benefit from Garrett’s disappearance taking place at Freddy’s. I mean, we know that Mike’s camping trip took place in Nebraska, which is not where Freddy’s is located. So why would Afton (someone who would normally do his kiIIings in Freddy’s) decide to kiII a kid in a random forest in another state? What was he even doing there? Sure you can theorize that it was “Afton’s first kiIl” or a “planned personal attack” but if that really is the case, you can still have all that take place in Freddy Fazbear’s. It makes the story feel a lot more connected and less convoluted that way.
@@TheKaijuKing54 Well I'm convinced that Mike and Abby's dad is the movie version of Henry. If this is indeed the case then just like the game chances are Garrett being kidnapped was probably due to Afton's jealousy of his business partner.
When it comes to Mike and the movie in general, it's a lot more closer to Scott's original intentions back when fnaf 4 had come out and the first novel trilogie was beginning to be made. From Mike not being an Afton, to Vanessa essentially being a growned up Elisabeth. (In the Silver eyes Trilogie, Afton had only one child, Elisabeth, who he had both mentaly and physically abused, much in the way it was implied in the movie, to the point she essentially became just like him)
The puppet being male was also a fact brought up in fnaf 2 "Save him" wich can again be a direct comparaison to the movie. (most likely was gonna be Samuel in the games like in the books, before Charlie took her brother's place and Scott went full Human robot mode) As for Micheal being responsable for the death of his brother and trying to find closure for it. Yeah. That's in the movie too.
The decision to turn Mike Shmidt into Micheal Afton was most likely a last minute change from Scott. He said once he redconned one thing, and my guess was that redcon was his original vision of the storyline. The one he had in mind before rewriting everything for Sister Location.
@@BurningFlamesofDivineDragon that is so gonna be the case, it's Sister eyes lore but with different characters.
That lead into "I always come back" was perfectly fine. I wish the movie did it this way.
I feel that Abby was really important to this film. She is the reason Mike gets the job and was able to communicate with the kids even before Mike took the gig. Also, her drawings were very important in revealing a lot of details. Not so sure I'd call Abby a plot device that means someone or something useless throughout the film. Abby was anything but that however, this is just me. I can't wait for the second FNAF film for the movie timeline. I'd give the film an 8/10.
she drived the plot forward. Mike needs to realise to cherish what he has with abby instead of chasing garett
@@Ben-zg8xk he did. its called character development. did you not see the third act of the film????
@@Ethan_CubedYeah that’s what I’m saying. That’s the point of Abby to the plot
@@Ben-zg8xk oh I didn't realise you were talking about the plot. I thought you meaning Mike STILL needs to do these things lok
Scott hire this man for the next movie
I'll take that job 🤘
oh please no
@@stag9327 If you can make the fnaf Movie 1 sound like an actual terrifying horror movie then Boy i can only imagine what kind of script you would be able to come up with if you would actually be hired
As much as I enjoyed the actual flick I must admit this serves much better as a movie adaptation of the fnaf story
Bravo! Truly a great rewrite
Very kind of you to say! Had a blast with fnaf, looking forward to my next rewrite if folks keep enjoying them 😊
Judging by this video I still have high hopes for the sequel cause I know Scott is working on improvements.
Incredible on how the fans would manage to make a better FNAF adaptation than the game's own creator, lol
bro...in this version the animatronics barely even show up.
@@Ethan_Cubedthat makes them scarier. it’s called the jaws effect
I like what we got. But I love how you made Garret disappear in the pizza place. It just makes the job more meaningful to the film and how Mike scared him using the animatronics which can somewhat parallel to the games.
I like that people are taking their creativities to make it better and cooler, and Making more “Easter eggs” but how it came out is how scottt wanted it, how he wanted it to be shown to the fans.
Justice for doug. Aside from the lack of a matpat cameo mention (very important) love this concept.
I'm sure I'd squeeze MatPat in the diner scene 👀...but I still stand by Doug. Justice for Doug!
@@stag9327 hoping he'll make a return in the inevitable sequel
@@jonibologna8514 Imagine Doug being the lawyer for Fazbear Entertainment, perhaps that'll explain why they're still in business no matter what lmao.
10:41 breaking bad transitions in FNaF is wild
I personally think that the movie was a solid 7/10 in its own right, but there's definitely things I would have changed.
I mean, not having Mike be Williams son in the story removes that complex relationship we've been so fascinated by in the games. Vanessa was meant to take on that role, but it was barely explored.
It was never confirmed that Mike was William's son. Everyone got that from a coloring book with cryptic notes that had zero meaning. It was a way to spice up an activity journal so that people would buy it
@@tomslawyer"It was never confirmed that Mike was Williams son."
*Father, it's me Michael...*
YEESSS, if they made Mike an Afton it woulve also be more meaningful the reveal that William Afton was a murder
@@onemoreminute0543 I guess he's never played the games😂
@@onemoreminute0543
The only think that I would fix with this rewrite is that if Garrett was stuffed into Freddy, then he should be the one to convince the other animatronics to befriend Mike and keep him company even though Mike wouldn't initially know why they'd do this until he would realise that the smell of blood is coming from them and he puts two and two together. That way the aspect of the animatronics being children instead of mindless monsters can be kept in the story and be a more emotional kick in the heart when the audience learns who Freddy is.
Also I would add Michael Afton into the story as someone who works at the same time as Mike, keeping a watchful eye out for him whilst he's sleeping, with Michael knowing that he used Mike's legal name for his own purposes of getting into Freddy's without being affiliated with William, giving the bit with William looking at Mike with a suspicious look more weight.
Huh. So in your version, Mike Schmidt and Michael Afton are two separate people?
This is a good re-write. More animatronics but still a good rewrite. This vid just proved that Scott should have hired fans or at least writers who are fans to adapt it to the screen. This just also shows that a live action FNAF series would have done the story more justice tbh .
Trully a more grounded, horrific yet simple approch to the movie with is essentielly what we would have been all expecting yet with enough twists to make it untertaining.
My only change would be to re-enact "Die in a fire" while keeping your dialogue for Afton. Seeing the spirits of the childrens corner theirs killer and ultimately causing his death would have made it even better!
I think that should be saved for the last movie like they did for the fourth closet, where all the animatronics realized that Afton was the killer. It would be so much more impactful for the film audience as they all realize this is the last movie of the trilogy.
My guy, that Afton monologue was BY FAR the coolest thing in this vid, you make him seem way more threatning that what he was in the movie and not originally wearing the yellow bonnie suit while making his entrance really proves that point
With refining, this could have potential to be better than what we got for sure!
They should hire you as the script writer for the second Fnaf movie.
I'll take that gig 👀
this is great, keeping a lot of aspects of the actual movie intact while making it more centered around freddy's itself
I would've honestly kept the opening scene from the original movie but I do love this rewrite though! Both the original movie and the rewrite are amazing! Hopefully the 2nd movie improves on the horror aspect.
Although the movie did give a whole new story and was pretty decent in its own way..
I loved this version where the horror aspect and the lore is very heavy, staying somewhat true to the original games. Shining the aspect of the possessed animatronics and the looming threat of the yellow rabbit, I really like your version on the movie, really sad though that Doug didnt make it, nor did Abby which removes quite a chunk of possible storyline, other than that it was great
There are a ton of good ideas in this version! Although Afton original monologue in the suit was great, these alternate lines are really cool (Also the phrasing of the "I always come back" line was definitely better in this version because it actually made sense in the context it was said in, and it also didn't feel forced). I'm not the biggest fan of the building being burned down, but henry making an appearance is a really cool idea definitely should have been in the original ending. The extra references are also sick, like the drawing of the crying children and the Freddy music box, which should have 100% been in the movie. Also, Garretts disappearance is a lot better. It's not really the fact that it's at Freddy's that makes it better, it's just the fact that its more interesting and actually makes sense why garret was killed. It's not flawless though, because: 1. The excess gore details aren't really necessary, 2. Abby not being a part of the movie just makes it feel like it is missing an integral part of its story, and 3. Golden Freddy is highly underused (like in the go movie), and the complete removal of any tease of the puppet is kind of strange. Overall, while it has its flaws, this version of the movie brings in some great ideas and improves some of the original concepts. I think it is really cool original take on the movie!
better he saying: *stupid kids, stupid in life, stupid in death, i see you all in hell* then the springlocks crush him inside to death
I actually love this
i guess one thing I can think of right now is maybe there should be a scene that establishes what the springlocks are so that the spring-trapped scene doesn’t feel random, but that’s a pretty simple part to put in, other than that I think it’s really great, I love Afton’s monologue at the end, man I kinda wanna do a short animation of it lol
18:58 so well delivered
This was really enjoyable, I will say I prefer the ending in the actual movie to yours, and I think having Garrett be Golden Freddy rather than Freddy would have been better as a parallel to Springtrap. Overall, good job.
Im actually fine with what we got in the movie but I have to admit this script is amazing!
wow the voice acting is amazing that's cool most of the stuff you add are great the most thing I want in this movie that mike revealed to be michael afton btw Keep up
This rewrite was actually really good just some slight adjustments I would make one of them being when the yellow rabbit turns around to look at mike with red eyes instead of red they could be purple and then maybe for a slight redesign of William at the beginning of the movie instead of his shirt being white it could be a light purple color or lavender so that would kind of show people that they are probably connected before the William reveal scene.
I think that the purple tie already served that purpose.
I prefer the Garrett subplot we got in the movie, and I can't handle scrapping Doug. And on record, Jason Blum had said Scott specifically wanted the movie made for the fans above anyone else. And this one has even more easter eggs that'd need someone to understand the franchise and fan media for it than the actual movie.
An interesting concept, but I prefer the movie we got.
And the way you wanted to have "It's Me" as an actual use in the lore just too off. Doesn't work.
The movie we got was a piece of shit ngl
@@alguienmasbruh695true
the movie was dog shit and a slap in the face to the fans
yo this rewrite is sick
i especially like how the whole "aunt" angle is removed from the story.
This is amazing but i think their 1000% gonna make this movie more understandable in the sequels (i hope so)
I'm genuinely really looking forward to the sequel!
Currently in the process of rewriting the fnaf script (I'm at page 140 as of writing this), I'm glad to see other people are taking the initiative to fix this overtly disappointing film.
It’s incredible on how that fans manage to produce something better than the game’s creator himself, lol
@@juliabp6057 It's genuinely baffling
@@itsjustchris2866 movie was stil good tho
@@sirsnek3933 I give it a solid 6 out of 10
@@sirsnek3933it was meh for me but everyone has their own opinion on the film so yeah
noooooooo you removed the awesome fucking opening credits sequence
The opening credits pretty much give away the mystery of the missing children and the suspense of the “yellow rabbit.” If the pixel art was used later as a visual reference while Vanessa confesses Afton’s motivations and actions to Mike, then it would be more fitting.
I’m actually making my own rewrite of this film, this is what’s happening:
- The dynamic of Mike and Abby as I think it works.
- Vanessa comes into the story after Mike’s friend (Probably gonna write this part out) goes missing after taking the nightshift, theres a scene dedicated to him going up against the robots.
- William sneaks around as a shadow like figure, having the robots do his dirty work like luring Abby.
- William doesn’t actually get into the spring-lock suit until much later at the end, he reveals himself as himself to Mike, and with an axe too, not a knife. (Vanessa doesn’t do the shooting thing in this script)
- When the robots turn on William, he destroys them fnaf 3 style allowing the ghost kids to come after him.
- Along the way, he takes Abby and hold her hostage, eventually, they end up in the safe room where William puts the suit on, as the characters confront each other, Abby kicks the suit a little to hard causing the spring-locks to go off, William demise happens.
- As a bonus, if I had to write you tubers into this script, MatPat would be a crazy guy, and Cory would still be the Taxi Driver.
- Also, paving way for a second film, Henry would appear in a post credit scene, he simple comes in, looks at William then leaves (Still deciding on this)
- the bite of 87 is shown in a flashback as one of Mike’s friends explains to him about.
- Mike also would know of Fazbears and would be skeptical about the job, not asking it at first, but eventually does for Abby.
- the dream sequences do happen, but on a much smaller scale and aren’t as focus on (Gonna change this for sure to include more)
Now these are the things I want to incorporate into my script and saying this now, it’s either gonna have one more rewrite, or two, cause I feel like adding some like the dreams Mike had more things and cutting out things like the bit of 87 flashback, what do you think, I’ll watch your vid and even incorporate thing you think would work.
Also adding one more thing here:
-More tension and even jump-scares would be focused on too.
What about the thieves?
Whenever someone says ''I fixed something'' 9 times out of ten they broke it further, I'll be the judge of if it was ''fixed''.
Not bad, concept. you just didn't ''fix'' the movie.
@@southerncoastproductions7587he definitely fixed it
I really like this rewrite, especially making garrets kidnaping take place at Freddy's gives mike more of a connection to Freddy's. although if I were to add something in, I would add maybe explain why they never check the suit, although it is one of these thing in fnaf that really difficult to give good explanation for, well unless someone removed the bodies
Man, I'm really happy with this video, I've been rewriting the film for a few weeks and I see that a lot of the ideas I had are similar to what's in the video I think this is cool, it shows that the fans have a common sense of what the film should be
Yeah, but I still like the film and incorporating stuff from the movie and mixing it into the games
@@Dark-sx3bd I also really liked the film, it was really fun and definitely the best birthday present I've ever received
This is basically your own version than a rewrite. And I love it
Thanks for the heart
I really like this approach you did with the movie. There are some things that need some work such as Golden Freddy having a more prominent role. But I think it turned out great!
But yeah, I’m surprised you saw Abby as a plot device. Looking back at the movie, she kinda does play out like that. I think if Abby had a more defined character arc and had more characterization, her character could have been better. But as it is, I really like Abby’s character.
I watched this yesterday and I looked for it today but I found it this video is so good
I like a good chunk of this rewrite but there’s a few bits that are just off. Like it’s better than what we got but I can’t put my tongue on why it feels off.
What the hell I actually love this so much the inclusion of Henry was very well thought out as well as the ending section with Freddy’s music box
See I would love this movie so much more if they didn’t CUT OUT ALL THE FLASHBACKS FOR NO REASON ( idc I’m still petty
Edit: I just realised the animatronics are never stated to smell
Edit II: I’ll be real, I like Garrett’s death more than the bite

This should’ve been the true fnaf movie, I was very disappointed in the movie we have gotten.

this was actually pretty great, cant wait for you to do one on Five Nights at Freddy's 2
This is FANTASTIC. I love this rendition of the story, and I got chills so many times. Even at the loss of Abby, I would've been happy with this as the movie.
As long as the Matpat cameo stays, then this rewrite is fantastic! Totally different take but I love it!
This rewrite is pretty good!
I really hope we get some r rated extras for the dvd version
That's a really good script, the horror is really done well and I love how Garret was taken in the pizzeria instead of some random forrest in Nebraska. Even though it's good I think you should've given each animatronic more screen time, Foxy was the only one doing attacking while the rest of them just performs. I hope this channel grows big in the future👍
This genuinely amazing
This is great thank you this is what I hoped for 🎉
Heres an idea for this that could keep doug him being mikes lawyer whos with mike when hes trying to get a new job
I feel like the lack of Abby's character kinda destroys the tension and sad story of the animatronics also being children
Overall i enjoyed the movie we got. However i do see why people dislike it and i think this video 100% fixes alot of the issues with the film but remember this is scotts first film so dont be too mean harsh to him about it.

Bruh, this is INFINITELY better than the original, and I so wish that this was it. So we'll done. I truly think this is what the movie should have been
Excellent rewrite, my guy. My only problem was that the animatronics trying to get into Mike’s office, and them not having enough screen time, but overall, you succeeded at creating horror, unlike the actual movie itself. You had me shocked at the opening, and grossed out at the Jeff’s death and spaghetti transition. I hope you do a rewrite for the second and third movies coming next, so it could tie into the rewrite of this video.
the movie is too much like a normal horror trope like movie without the scary horror vibes.
I’m planning on making my own rewrite on this film, but in a comic form.
But I’m currently doing the Sonic.T.H.2 movie rewrite.
Then I’ll be doing F.N.A.F.1-3 rewrite, which my rewrite isn’t ideal as the second and third game are based off of F.N.A.F.5 and 6.
Then i’d improve F.N.A.F.1-7 + Fnaf World, then Sonic.T.H.4 Ep.3, and then finally the F.N.A.F.1 (movie) rewrite.
So it may be a while.
Speaking of the Sonic 2 film rewrite, currently I’m making a layout of the panels.
The comic will start off a quick recap the first film, then the second film, or in this case, comic.
This is the first time actually trying to do this so yee, it may not be great.
But maybe I’ll remake/improve it in the future.
When I get to the F.N.A.F.1 movie rewrite comic, it’ll probably be a better comic than the Sonic one.
I have some ideas on how I would handle this, and it’s a bit more close to the original than your rewrite since it’ll keep all the characters.
My focus will…
- Flesh out, develop, give more screen time to each characters like Max, Vanessa, Abby, and Aunt James
- Make the story longer so the story can benefit
- Make the film less like other films and more atmospheric horror
- Give more explanations
- Give more lore like the m.c.i which I’m inspired by a fan remake of thie films intro that shows the newspaper
- Not rely on gore as I don’t think it fits the franchise
Why is bro trying to rewrite peak fiction?
(All jokes aside this sounds pretty epic, even if I’m perfectly fine with what we got)
2:33 NOOO MY GOAT
In all honesty I like this as an idea on its own and would hope for something like it for the sequel, but I don't like the idea of taking abby away and some of the other characters, it would kinda make you feel less and some of those other characters brought likeability to the movie. I would have kept the premise but just changed the scenes like had more animatronic action, jumpscares and recreated the eerie feeling of the game. I would have changed the dream sequences where garret disappeared to freddys though instead of a forest.
That "general audience won't like it" thing is bull shit, I know plenty of people who weren't fnaf fans who liked the film
My mum went to see it too and she knows literally nothing about the film and she enjoyed it to! But the critics reckoned it was less accessible, which honestly I think was the critics saying "we don't get it". I wish the critics that reviewed the material actually cared about...you know...the material 😂
@stag9327 to be fair they have to review hundreds of movies a month
Oh God yeah it'd be exhausting, but I'm sure they enjoy it for the arts, ey?
They say the same thing about The Super Mario Bros Movie, except that's even more nonsense because everyone knows Mario.

i was fully anticipating the jumpscare by freddy when his eyes started flickering. AND I STILL GOT SCARED BY IT, WTF MAN. great rewrite, that was very well written and i like how its more centered around being in the literal pizzeria instesd of a random camping trip. however, im curious as to which animatronic garrett wouldve been put inside of if the original missing children are still in their respective animatronics.

If it isn't a bother (It may or may not come to fruition) Can I use some of your version to make my own version for a future video? I'd of course have you credited appropriately.
I'm not sure if it will happen, mostly because the plan is to make a 90 minute - 2 hour audio film. (Ambitious, I know) but I think your version perfectly showcases what Fnaf 1 is. As a fellow Fnaf-Nut, I feel like I should also undertake the task of making a rewrite.

Yea knock yourself out! Is it an original piece or a Fnaf script? 👀
@@stag9327 It's a FNAF script, I wanted to do an R-Rated version of the film, with some more elements from the games thrown in.

*Work in Progress*
I was also thinking about making my own version of the movie. Should i make a video in it? It would be my very first video ever
Who is the soundtracks you used?
How i would fix the movie without changing its core plot:
1- Add more screentime to William trough MCI flashbacks.
2- Make Vanessa have small dialogues with her father across the movie.
3-Make the plot of the invasion disconnected from Aunt Jane.
4- Remove Aunt Jane completely from the movie.
5- Make Garrett die outside of Fredbear's Diner instead of a random park.
6-Less Cupcake.
7-More creepy and disturbing scenes with the animatronics chasing Mike.
8- Make Vanessa's character better.
How i would fix the movie changing its core plot:
1- Mike is an Afton.
2- His little brother Garrett died in the bite of 83.
3- Mike's brother is a ghost following him.
4-William left Mike when he was little.
5- Vanessa's brother is the blonde boy, who is Golden Freddy.
6- Abby doesn't exist.
7- Afton dies after Mike activates the springlocks inside the Springbonnie suit (just like what Charlie
did in the first novel).
Hate to tell you but the movie is a different timeline from the games or books as I understand it. So it doesn't need to match either of these things beat for beat.
Hey man, could we work together on a film in doing?
