This arrangement is lovely,what a beautiful variety,it must smell fantastic.
I Just got back from England a few weeks ago,and awaiting me at my door was 3 pounds of raw green olives.
I cured them in lemon water for 12 days,then salt water for another 5 days,then placed them in jars with roasted garlic (never raw,possible botulism),and some with crushed chili pepper.
I mention this,because I eagerly anticipate enjoying these olives with a supreme baguette,some nice Italian Bella Fiace cheese,and the lovely oil to dip the bread in(torn,never sliced).
As a former floral designer, this is so fun !! Inspirational!!! You're giving me the cravings to do more floral designs. Thank you 💕

I am always on the hunt for long metal rectangular shaped trays for my windowsills to line my topiaries in for the winter. The arrangement looks stunning and you are looking GREAT as well, take care not to overdo because that’s what we do when we think we are getting better! Great to see you on here tonight...❤

That arrangement is so gorgeous! I thrift for wooden bowls, plant pots, baskets, bird houses and wind chimes, purses and accessories, puzzles and games and lots of other stuff. And of course clothes!
Love that you recommend an alternative to floral foam. Just heard about the issues with the floral foam product in the environment and you are doing a great service to make gardeners aware of an alternative that we can use in its place.

So happy to see you on the road to recovery! I've been making floral arrangements for years and my biggest downfall is not leaving enough *negative space". No matter how much I tell myself not to overfill, I tend to keep adding "one more" of this or that element "to fill the hole". Today I was foraging for beautiful big leaves to spray and fill glass cylinders- something you showed us last year, I believe. Such a fab idea! On another note, I was reading Better Homes and Gardens while waiting for a flight two weeks ago and was so pleasantly surprised to see a very familiar potager gracing a full page. It felt like I had discovered an old friend's garden. How wonderful! ❤

Love marigolds! They do smell amazing to me. Though mine look a little sad, but it has one flower on it and more buds. I might divide mine so I get more of them...

My husband loves marigolds though I can’t seem to keep them alive. Like you, I would put the arrangement where I can see it most of the time. Loved this video! Thank you.
I don't have vegetables growing in my yard ... but I can always buy some at the store. Like you, I am particularly drawn to the ones on the stems. Those dark purple peppers are ones I love with the lime greens. I remember as a kid we use to dye daiseys with food coloring. It would draw the dyed water through the stems. I could see dying white hydrangeas with a little green and yellow mixed dye for that vibrant green. I see others mentioned you do look thinner. Nothing a cheeseburger and pizza can't fix!

I love those plastic trays that you used in the arrangement. I use them to set pots in so if the water overflows, it will protect my furniture and floors. I also put pebbles and water in them to use as humidity trays to set my orchids on. They come in multiple sizes and shapes.

For a dinner party on Friday I raided my garden for Fall colors, and purchased green/blush roses from Aldi. I looked in my thrifted stash shelf for something low and long and low for a centerpiece. I found and old brass container (which used to have foam glued in and a yucky dried arrangement ) I gave it a quick cleanup, and voilà I made the arrangement! Wish I could post a photo…

I prefer to put fresh floral arrangements where I’ll see them. So if you’re in your breakfast area I’d have it there. Yes, I love the smell of marigolds because it reminds me of my fraternal grandmother. As geraniums remind me of my maternal grandmother. She always had a geranium on her window sill in a terracotta pot.
You look great! I feel like if you are wearing jeans, you must be feeling a lot better. Wearing jeans again was a benchmark for me after having gallbladder removal. LOL! :)

Yes! I agree. The live garden elements are great every time I think. But will probably give up the color shorter than what we want. Did you spray your arrangement with stay fresh or what ever ? Still love the fresh stuff.👍👏👏❣️🙏
