    What wires did you connect at the pigtail to test the speedometer? I found one like the one in the video in a junkyard and have no idea if it works. Also what voltage?

    So i have basically the cluster pictured in a 96 bronco. When i get going over about 65 the speedometer starts bouncing back and forth centered over the actual speed then center of bounce moves to like 50. Needle bouncing from 30-70 when it’s center at like 50

    I have a 93 f150 that just says "error" on the odometer. What's up with that? Is there an easy repair or reset I can do at home?

    Hi
    I have 1995 Ford e350,
    Tire size 225/75/R16
    The transmission shift early because the speedometer needs calibration,& I don't know how to do it? Can please help me to find out which calibration number to enter it in the speedometer to fix this problem.
    Thank you.

    Anybody ever hear of the psom causing problems with the cruise control in a 1994 Ford F150 XLT? Had a guy look at everything, fuses, cables, connections, ran diagnostics. Thought that might be the issue.

    So my 94 f350 kind of jumps when shifting. The speedo and odometer quit working. This could be the cause of my transmission jumping?

    • @ClusterFixWashington
      @ClusterFixWashington  Před 3 lety

      If the speedometer and odometer both quit you will have transmission issues. If fuses 8 and 18 are both good and supplying power to terminals 1 and 3 and there is a good ground to terminal 2 then suspect an internal PSOM issue that needs repaired.
      Thank you

    Is it possible or common for these clusters to jump a digit at a 9999.9 roll over? 96 150 and owner states at 50k it rolled from 49999 to 150000. Looks, drives, and feels like a 59000 mile pickup, but shows 1598xx. It's either possible or this is the cleanest 160k mile 1/2 ton ever located.

      We have not seen that occur but corrupt programming does happen from time to time. If that were to happen you would most likely have an odometer that reads Error and also have speedometer problems.

    I've had intermittent starting issues, and my PSOM is dead. Needle is dead. Mileage doesn't change. I bought a 2nd hand replacement, but even the speedometer is jumpy over about 45mph.
    I guess my question is what do you charge to fix a 92-97 Ford PSOM?

    • @ClusterFixWashington
      @ClusterFixWashington  Před rokem

      Yes, we do plenty of these for power loss so as long as you have good power to pin 1 and 3 and ground to pin 2 the odometer should turn on and speedometer work. Jumpy speedometer needle could be a PSOM problem at that speed but higher speed needle waiver is generally external issues which we have a list for on the website.

    my odometer screen looks like an old busted calculator screen with only some of the numbers being visible. how much for the screen replacement.

      We have replacement LCD screens available and the price would depend on whether or not we are doing it along with the repair service, doing the LCD service alone or selling it outright.

    My fuel and battery gauge face jumps around, needles are fine, the face is messed up, is this an easy fix??

    • @ClusterFixWashington
      @ClusterFixWashington  Před 3 lety

      They do come delaminated over time so cleaning up the surfaces and then using a hot glue gun to glue them down again is what we do for a good, clean and permanent fix.

    I have a 96 F250 the speedometer doesn't fluctuate until 45 mph or above but between there and 70mph it's all over the place, I tried a new BWD sensor but the new sensor was bad and didn't do anything, no shifting, no speedometer movement, nothing but the odometer. Would it be the PSOM ?? I just don't want to throw parts and money at the problem if it's not gonna fix it.

    • @ClusterFixWashington
      @ClusterFixWashington  Před 7 lety +1

      It does sound like an internal PSOM issue if the fluctuation is extreme but we always bench test them to confirm prior to doing any repairs.

    How do I fix it 🤔

    • @ClusterFixWashington
      @ClusterFixWashington  Před 4 lety

      There can be multiple problems that need addressed and some need replaced so we offer a repair service or PSOM circuit board exchange so you can replace it yourself with our remanufactured, programed plug and play board.
