When i am more excited for you saying 'Claire' everytime food is ready to taste. 😅
😍
How does she stay so thin?!! Must be those Korean genes 👍🏻
@@rubenmycox she exercises
What is sad, we all call Claire too
I'm looking forward to when Claire cooks and calls "Aaron" 👩🍳
Ready for that episode too😍😍😍
You are one of the reasons why I like and started to make Korean dishes at home! :)))
So glad to hear that 😍
Same for me! It’s helped me so much during this time too!
Love this! Radish is my favorite!
Thank you for the video! So ready to make this!
So perfect timing, I just bought a couple daikon radishes and now inspired to make kimichi. Yeah! Thnx for the easy recipe 😋
Thank u for the fried rice recipe, I just now followed all ur steps specifically n it came out so so good!! Delicious 🙏🏻🤤❤️
Great recipe! Looking forward to making it myself.
Btw, I love how the videos always end with dishes being washed. Nice touch!
Thank you very much for all of your upload videos. You make Korean cooking very easy to understand and very entertaining to watch.
Thank you for this video and looking forward to many more!
This looks delicious! I also would love to see typical Korean celebration meals and what about trying to recreate the best meal you remember eating? Thank you for your channel. I feel like I always learn something. ❤️
We have a Korean store downstairs and we have been trying different types of kimchi (we just moved apartments)! We had no idea there were so many different types of kimchi, so loving this episode! Thank you x
I love this! Radish is a favorite so I'm happy to make something delicious with it!!♡♡
Yummy 😋 I love radish kimchi.
Another awesome video, thanks Aaron and Claire!
😍😍😍
They always make my day
I love the radish kimchi that my favorite Korean restaurant makes and can never find the same taste in the store bought ones.
This is it!!! I made it this week and tried it 4 days later. OMG.... This is awesome!!
Thank you so much!
I am in heaven.
I’ve never had radish kimchi. I only tried cabbage kimchi and I love it lol
You should try it!! 😍
Try Aaron’s cucumber kimchi recipe. It’s sooooo delicious!
Wahooooo Thank you!
I’ve really enjoyed making all sorts of kimchi and researching it.
While researching, I discovered there are so many variations and each family has their own way and secret ingredients are common. The sprite for this type of kimchi is really a nice touch! While you won’t notice it much once it ferments for a while, you’ll definitely be able to enjoy the additional flavour, sweetness and bit of bubbles from your first few batches.
A tip on how large to cut this - yes, too thin and it’ll turn too mushy as it ages- but it’s a bit too thick the first few times you eat it so I figured out that if I cut about 1/4 of my radish thinly and the rest the size Aaron recommended and keep side by side- then I can use the thinner ones first and the thicker ones once they ferment more.
I also figured out adding a small amount of leftover kimchi juice from the previous batch helps start the process and a secret ingredient also I learned is one of those tiny yogurt drinks adds an interesting flavour.
Yay! This is my favorite kimchi. I can't wait to try making it myself.
Every now and then, when I watch this, I feel like Aaron is sitting there, smile on his face, while Claire is eating and describing, with a look of pure adoration on his face. Because I adore her, and I'm not even married to her. I always made my kkakdugi fried rice like Claire said, radish, tossed with some rice - I will have to try this recipe, that looks absolutely luxurious.
I love your videos so much!!
😍😍😍
I love claire!!!! 😅 she is so adorable!!!
Thank you Aaron! I love radish kimchi..Watching from Las Vegas
My pleasure!!! 🤗🤗🤗
Looking forward to making this recipe. Thank you for your content.

Great recipe! Making this for the second time! Thank you!
My pleasure! Thank YOU so much for enjoying our recipes! 😁🙌
Everything you make in your videos makes me so hungry! I end up eating lunch super early at work because of it!
first it was cucumber kimchi, now it's radish kimchi... Aaron is really showing me kimchis I never thought possible!
🤣🤣🤣 There's a cabbage kimchi too!
Yay! I love Radish Kimchi mainly because I love Daikon! Daikon Radishes are perfect. I even like the simple, sweet, and sour pickled daikon that’s served with Korean Fried Chicken. Mmm 😋
Love this.
“Don’t worry about it!” Love it! So entertaining that I look forward to your next video. Of course another great video. Love radish kimchee. And now radish kimchee fried rice. 👍🏼👌🏼😋
Thank you for enjoying our videos! 😉🙏
Wow, this looks good! Thanks for the recipe!
My pleasure! Hope you try it sometime! 🤗🥰
Love all ur videos!! Can u do one on making hotpot?
Just tried and OMG fresh taste is amazing! Can’t wait until the fermentation magic kicks in!!
❤
Can’t wait for the magic to kick in! Hope you enjoy it! 😁👍
Thank you for this video!! For my second kimchi effort (the first was a success!) I doubled up on all of my ingredients except the cabbage b/c I thought I could just increase the radishes which I love in the recipe. But I got nervous about messing with a recipe that I got right the first time; and like a fool, forgot that the one big cabbage was the size needed for just ONE recipe (not a doubled recipe that could carry extra radishes). Can't wait to make this!!
Thank you for sharing! :)
Loving your videos. Keep up the good work.👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you as always! 🥰🥰🥰
Just made this it’s fermenting now! Can’t wait to try it 🤗
Yay! Can’t wait! It’s gonna be so good!!! 😉👍
I love ALL of your kimchi recipes! I can't get the radishes anywhere in my area, so I've bought seeds and planted in my garden!
Did you ever make radish kimchi from the radishes you planted?
omg it's always a great day when you upload a vid Aaron :)
Great Day!! 😍😍
I love eating this radish raw as a side accompaniment with my Indian curries and rice! But will definitely try these recipes! Ty!
pickled radish is so good!! call me weird but i love that you actually include footage of washing dishes afterwards. i think its charming 😄
Looks very easy! Thanks Aaron and Claire! Can I use the same sauce to make green onion kimchi? That's my favorite.
I ❤ Kimchi but I never had the radish kind! I'm so excited to make this! It looks so good and the rice?! Wow!
Hope you like it~! 🥰
I can't WAIT to try this!!!

Thank you for enjoying our videos! 😁🙏
Thank you🇵🇭 lucky u Claire taster😄
Perfect for my leftover daikon! More Korean side dishes please! I love the quick flavors they add to a meal.
Question about the fish sauce--if Thai is the only kind I have, can I adjust to fit the recipe? Or would it ruin it?
Oh my god! This is so delicious ooooo! I love kimchi! Do you have a recipe for sweet crunchy radish?
I can’t wait to try this kimchi 😀 I have my massive kimchi bowl that I usually use when making kimchi so that’s the difficult part done 👍👍👍👍 fantastic video Aaron and Claire 😊😊
Lucky you!!!🥰 You can make any kind of kimchi with that bowl! 🤣🤣 Hope you like it~! 😘
Literally the best taste tester ever is Claire. You can tell every reaction is authentic 😁 Yet another great recipe. We appreciate you!
Thank you for enjoying our videos! 😁😉
I am excited to make the radish kimchi like this, I have always given it the salt water bath. I bet it will be crispy. Yay, it's going to be yummy! Thank you!

You need to narrate all CZcams vids man. Appreciate the 8:57 donwohrryboutitt. Made my day 🙏🏻😂
😍
@@AaronandClaire I was eating milk and cookies while watching and I almost spit my milk out when you said that. It was perfect! 😂🤩
Excellent from CA.
I just made this recipe and after the taste test, it’s the best recipe I’ll tried. Excited to see how it’ll turn out tomorrow. Thanks for sharing!!!
Love it!! I'm sure it will taste better and better as time goes.😁Thank you for sharing! 😍
@@AaronandClaire Checked it this morning and it tasted great. One thing I want to ask..,is there a way to make it spicier? My kids love spicy foods, especially their kimchi but most recipes are more mild than spicy.
Woah! I never thought of making a dish or cooking with the kkakdugi! I'll try this out! :D
Yay~! Let us know how it was! 😁🥰
@@AaronandClaire I tried your kkakdugi recipe and it's the best kkakdugi I've ever tried! 👍
congrats on 400k subscribers :)
Oh my gosh, I’ve got several Korean radishes in my garden I was just wondering what to do with. Perfect time for this to come up in my feed!
I'm sure you'll love it! 😍If you need more details about that, check this out! 🤗 aaronandclaire.com/radish-kimchikkakdugi-recipe/
We love every type of kimchi! we just made kimchi fried rice yesterday and now got another recipe with radish kimchi, we'll try that for sure! Hope you guys are doing well there in Seoul
Thank you for saying that!! Hope you're doing well too!! 😍😍😍
thank you so much , can you share how to make pickle radish?
Oh, I really want this.
😍
This just reminded me that I have a little bit of kakkduki in the back of my fridge that will go PERFECT with my dinner tonight. Mmmm.
Wow, I'm sure you will be the first to try our radish kimchi fried rice!!! 😆😉 Hope you say 'Mmmmmm' 🤣🤣😍
Planing on trying to make the 'normal' cabbage kimchi one of these days, this looks just as tasty! My food-list is getting bigger & bigger.
Yay!!! 🥳🥳👍
My favorite couple! Hello from Atlanta Georgia!
Thank you!! We love you, too!! 😘😉
Aaron and Claire Awww that just made my morning! Thank you!
You are truly an incredible teacher. I've never had any motivation to make kimchi before watching your videos.
So glad to hear that~!! 😊👍👍
@@AaronandClaire by the way, I'm curious, would this recipe work with napa cabbage instead of radish?
My sister just finished the radish kimchi we had. She's gonna love this video! 🤤
I hope so! 😊
Oooo looks so good! Could you do a recipe for Pork Neck Bone Soup?
Hello! It looks really tasty! We have fermented radish in China too, but we normally ferment it for at least 20 days, since old people said there are high volume of nitrite in Day5-8.
That's good to know! 🙂
Haven't watched this video yet, just wanted to write it under a new video.
I hardly ever subscribe to channels simply because most of them aren't worth it.
But damn, the pure quality of the content you guys are making is insane. It's not the typical "let's give it a clickbait title and do nothing useful", but the "let's give it an attractive title and let's do something actually useful with top quality editing, but also staying humans (instead of view-generating machines) with genuine reactions and humour".
Keep up the good work, love you guys.
Ohhh now we talking about. Radish kimchi and ramen or noodles. Mmmm
I'm going to try this kimchi.
Thanks
Yummy
😍😍
OMG! Thank you so much for this video! Kkakdugi is my hubby and I's favorite Kimchi. This looks so much better to make that I'm sure I could have him do it hehehe ^_^
(he's been doing all the cooking lately anyway. I've just been too sick which is why I've missed so much of your vids. You've got a lot for me to watch!)
Hope you get well soon! 😢😘🙏🙏
Claire is one lucky taste tester 😆😆😆😆
The seeds on top make it extra fancy!
😍😍😍
"Claire.."
Have been following your videos for quite sometime now. I like how you make everything seem so simple.
I like your cutting board, too. Am thinking of buying one that would last. May I know what kind of wood it's made of? What are it's dimension. Maybe you could make some related video too, ie first time use ans its maintenance.
Keep your videos coming...
Hi Aaron-- Do you need to add the Sprite?
Your videos are awesome! :D
Thank you so much! 🙏😆
YAY!! I needed this. I'm going to the Korean mart this weekend to pick up some radish, kimchi, and cucumbers. The Korean mart near me is called "H-Mart". I can't wait to try these recipes :)
