Hey Everyone. This tutorial is my attempt at an overview of the KHAOS add-on destruction tools for Blender in under 5 minutes. Destruction tools allows you to create rigid bodies, rigid body constraint systems, and add small scale debris particle simulation in Blender in a streamlined process through the add-on. As you can see by the length of the video...I have failed.....but I hope it is helpful for your Blender destruction needs regardless. Enjoy!

You not only made a smaller tutorial, but also went beyond 👏
I must say I got worried when I saw you fracturing a fracture. But at the end all turned out well. 😊
Yes I've been testing. Getting more ideas too hahaha.
Prima,Prima, Pr.......... ! Danke . Bauitsch
Thanks!
cool video
Thanks! Hope it was a helpful overview!
Improving my favourite Addon!!! Nice one.
Thank you so much! We needed an improvement and we're working on more!
Very nice!
Thanks Bruno!
Would be very nice if Khaos came with some basic scenes included. Videos are great and informative but have small sample scenes that you can load up and quickly see the tool in action is always good to sell a product. Keep up the great work, next on my list is citybuilder.
That's a great idea John. Will do this soon!
Some ideas for future implementations.
-Internal details.
-Edge details(for the fractured pieces)
Great idea!
I also been working on that but it have tiny problem. The problems is on my channel
can u fracture an object from the volume? Cause in this tutorial it looked like sort of shards were falling out of it
It would be amazing to have a way to change the thickness and shape of fragments
Every time I use the fracture and go through the same process over and over again for some reason after I make the KHAOS-001 cells active and deactivated then I spawn the mesh I chose to shove through those active cells, and then make it 'add active animated', then click play after keyframing that 'active animated object' through the active cells, the cells just fly/explode everywhere like crazy without even impacting the animated object. (The cells are deactivated, and gravity is turned off for this) Please help. Thanks
Hi Roland,
It's hard to say without seeing your specific Blendfile. But my guess is one of two things may have happened. First, make sure you have applied your transforms to your fractured objects. Second, make sure that you are calculating with the mesh option for rigid body collisions.
Sometimes rigid bodies in Blender can be weird no matter what. I don't understand it sometimes myself.
@@LightArchitect I think it has to do something with the subdivisions because when I have lower subdivisions it’s fine but when I increase it to much like to 300,000 vert it starts to do what I described.
Hi, should it possible to simulate a wood door or wood fence break with this add-on? To make it break in a realistic way with some splinters?
Hmmm... Probably not that much control yet as far as the specifics of the fractures. However the constraint controls would help a lot in getting your desired result to break in a more realistic way.
Can you make a tutorial for wood destruction?
Good idea. I'll add that one too the list.
does this work with cycles x?
its working on 3.3 ?
hello any new update soon ?
Is this a free update?
Yes 100% free update. Just login to the Blendermarket account you purchased KHAOS with and download the newest build. Happy Blending!
@@LightArchitect Thanks for the quick reply!
Wtf
lol
