Their Unplugged album is the best ever recorded, even over Nirvana's.

I love Alice in chains!! Layne stayley was a true vocal! I'm quite surprised Post Malone was singing this as a higher pitch which is not easy to do i would imagine. It made for a unique version of the song. Good job post and fam!! Rock on!
He is using autotune big time here. This, we can only talk about how cool the cover is, but talking about his voice skill is pointless with a freakin’ pitch corrector on…
he can do it higher because of the autotune. I think it sound great, but maybe in the original key it would sound better (with autotune too).
Between this and his cover of Heart Shaped Box, I can tell Post Malone has a genuine respect for 90s grunge, and I think that’s awesome! More power to him since he’s doing these classics justice. Maybe some STP or Soundgarden next?

I love how Howard recognized the choir and gave them the spotlight at the end. They sound amazing!
Born and raised in Seattle....this is damn near bringing me to tears.....amazing cover.
This just shows how talented and powerful Alice in Chains are and harmonies between Staley and Cantrell was something magical and special, to Post and Choir 🤘sounds amazing.
The harmonies done by those two are without a doubt some of the most powerful in music.

This is my 12th time watching this, and I'm still tearing up from the beauty of it.
Love the chorus on this, the choir killed it and brought the whole thing together, a really brave and great cover.

The harmonies sounded really beautiful together, bringing the soulful element of AIC out in all it's glory. I love a good cover when it's done well, and this is one such example. The only negative I would add is the severe tuning added to Malone's mic. It's just not needed. We need the raw mistakes to make us all feel a little more human. That's what music offers us in my opinion. The chance to be human. No need to take it away.

I can't say I'm a huge Post Malone fan in regards to following his releases, but every time I see something with him online, always impressed. And in interviews and fan footage, he's always genuine (so far as I can tell). Gonna check out some of his stuff.
Beerbongs & Bentleys has some bangers, as well as Hollywood's Bleeding. He is much more than just the hits they play on the radio. The song "feeling Whitney" from his first album is an acoustic country/indie song and he kills it on that track too.
This music was my generation. Im 55. I love him.
Props to Howard for giving the background chorus a chance to shine on their own...

Alice in Chains is all I've been listening to for so long now. Sometimes it's odd when other artists are vibing with the same type of music you listen to on the daily and you just don't ever expect it. Great cover Mr Malone.

I think Alice has gotten for the most part the respect that they deserve but I don't think people will truly understand just how great they were until more and more new fans discover their entire catalog or at least 90% of it. Had Layne gotten healthy this band would still be on top of the earth.
