"And hence, that's why hence"
I found that cute🤭
😮😊
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I noticed that too haha hey as long as the info is useful he can mime it if he wants 😂 good info is good info
You should not use exfoliators daily. So I assume by regular he means every 2-3 days. And chemical peels shouldn't be more than twice a week or you will get a damaged skin barrier. Also, never use Retinoids and Exfoliators on the same day
salicylic acid is an exfoliant right? if it is included in a cleanser can I use it everyday?
@@icedcoffee51 depends on the concentration. Anything more than 2% in a cleanser shouldn't be used daily. And if you have 2% or less don't use it more than once a day
@@icedcoffee51yes, he is referring to exfoliating products that is done after cleansing. In other videos of his he has recommended to exfoliate once or twice a week.
I'm exhausted I'm looking at some products for a friend but I sent her a lot of information over the past few months and everything got wiped out of her texts ... they're all gone .
I can't go through looking up everything all over again .
She has a brown spot on her face I think it's from where the sun comes in it's on the side that's facing the window when she drives .
I honestly don't remember the different products I researched in the past few months for fading spots like that and also she's looking for something to get rid of a scar -- can anybody please help me I am so exhausted today .
@@gardensofthegods What you are describing is probably a sunspot, it's more common in white humans who naturally have less sun protection due to less melanin in their skin
Alpha Arbutin, Vitamin C or Azelaic Acid serums are great for hyperpigmentation
(not sure about sunspots)
Obviously Exfoliators help too as they remove the top layer of the skin for new cells to form. If the pigmentation isn't very deep in the skin layers this shall work
For acne scars again exfoliators are your holy grail. But if the scars are deep in the skin nothing's gonna work except microneedling. Which is an in-office treatment for which she needs to visit a dermatologist
I use clay or Dead Sea mineral masks on a regular basis or a pore cleanser. Even though I have sensitive skin, I find that in moisturizing after the mask, my skin does not get irritated. Some of my youthful skin is genetic but the older I get, the more I have to do. I’m 71 and usually people think I’m 55 !
Spill the beans...in need of your beauty secrets. My dad aged like fine wine but it was genetics, his death has caused me so much pain and stress I'm afraid I won't inherit the gift
Always informative. I love the way you explain everything. I could listen to you talk for days
Thank you :)
@@Skynfyxis it safe to use a gentle exfoliating product on dry scaly skin like seb derm ? And then is hyaluronic acid safe
I use a retinal - my skin is red and a little irritated at the moment, so it’s probably not a good idea to use an exfoliant right now. ☹️
Darling you should never and i double that never never use retinol with other exfoliant products. Retinol is already exfoliating your skin thats why it gets red and irritated
Retinol itself is a exfoliator, I think so 🤔
The retinol is already exfoliating your skin. You should use a thick ceramide moisturizer to heal your skin.
Repair your skin barrier first
Retinol is already an exfoliating medium. It's not something to be used every day, especially if you're not used to strong ingredients. Having your skin feel sensitive, irritated, can be a sign that your skin hasn't adapted yet, it's best to start by using once a week at night, for atleast a month, then increase by one day a week, so 2 days a week, not consecutive days, for another month, and so on. Never use an exfoliator on the same day as your Retinol. Always use a moisturizer also after, wait a min or 2. And always start with the lowest percentage level, usually 0.3, some products do have 0.1, it all depends on the brand and their products quality, medical grade or OTC. It will be a good idea to stop the retinol for now, get a gentle, soothing barrier ointment, and hydrate your skin.
I use to exfoliate everyday. Give your skin time to heal and shed properly.
exfoliants will soften your skin, because it's removing the dead skin cells, but should not be done on a regular basis, because you will irritate your skin by removing healthy layers too often.
Yes. Exfoliation should do it once or twice a week based on your skin condition.
I use a salicylic acid cleanser as my exfoliant once a week since I just started a retinol cream last week, just don’t want to have too many stuffs in my routine this period
What to use if you have both oily skin and hyperpigmentation??🙂
Gosh u are giving great knowledge that I want for my skin routine
I've hyperpigmentation and dry skin. Which serum & exfoliating should i use?
How about if you have rosacea or seborrheic dermatitis? I think that would be a disaster and will irritate the skin more! When you make this kind of video about exfoliating please mention this too.. someone can make this mistake and will be in so much pain, unfortunately
azaleic acid - doesn't exfoliate to same level as others, but great for rosacea
Please suggest some products for acne prone sensitive skin
Best suggestion stop all sugars and processed foods bad carbs and all dairy just use gentle face cleansers and get lots of good sleep and exercise.
@@Ms_Seoul2023 thank you 💗but I'm already in dieting period 👉👈

Thanks, Doc! You are on point for providing relevant reels! ❤ What are your thoughts on washcloths? I never see any facial reels showing them?
Not necessary to use a washcloth, but if you want can use too.

Should I exfoliate my skin if I have acne scars, pretty sure I have post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, if yes, do you have any suggestion for products?
Don't exfoliate so frequent, it will cause your face to have redness
@@Skynfyx alright, thanks, would you have any suggestion for products to use?
Can you please tell me about something to use in a sensitive skin
Your skin exfoliate's it's self and some exfoliate's like scrub's can damage your skin and make acne worse!
He was talking of chemical exfoliants
I love chemical exfoliants now that I'm older😂 I used scrubs for years. I also love my son's Stridex pads which are for acne but they are much cheaper and work even better than some of my more expensive salicylic acid products . They are 2% and I use them every other day for my combination skin.
you are the best 👌
Please recommend serum for dry skin n got deep dark spot doctor,, thanks n God bless you
Go for ingredients that helps to hydrate and brighten such as niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C
Great advice
Hie derma what can i use for acne pimples dark sports hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone on my face
Hello doctor,,hope you are doing good ,,can we use raw milk directly on skin to remove dirt before washing fa..???
im using salicylic acid exfoliating scrub is it okay to use retinol after scrubbing my face?
from Philippines 😘❤❤ i really like you're video ❤
How often we should exfoliate the skin ?
Can exfoliate every once a week
Your skin naturally sloughs off dead skin every 28 days,no need for exfoliators. Depending on your age. Natural sugar scrubs in a liquid form works best 2 a months max.
@@Skynfyx wrong…
@@Ms_Seoul2023 😂😂😂😂😂😂
How misleading
Don't listen to this idiot.
Doesn't know anything.
All dermats suggest skin exfoliation once a week or once every fortnight depending how your skin feels.
@@Ms_Seoul2023 physical exfoliation is bad. with age the turnover slows. so we can hasten that with chemical exfoliates.
Please suggest an exfoliator(brand and kind) for dull and pigmented skin for a beginner with sensitive skin. I have no acne. Also, are you available for consultation? Where are you located?
Serum for combination/dry skin
DOCCCCC!!! can i use salicylic acid for dry skin for PIH? I use Cerave SA smoothing cleanser for dry skin though
Salicylic Acid is best suited for oily skin and acne-prone skin. You can use smoothing cleanser for dry skin
@@Skynfyx THANKS DOC! i also have acne prone skin 😥
What would you suggest for super sensitive & dry skin? Thanks in advance
Go for ingredients that doesn't cause irritation to your skin and provide hydration
Look for products with allantoin. I have hypersensitive and dry skin and it is enough for me.
hello which should i apply first. lactic acid or hyaluronic acid? i have a light melasma on both cheeks. unfortunately i got lactic acid and not glycolic acid😊
exfoliate first and then hydrate. so it's lactic and then hyaluronic acid.
@@farhahaha Tnx❤️
Should you use exfoliate if you already use a retinoid?
Never never
Nope
Yes. Once or twice a week I skip my tretinoin and use the Revitalift 10% glycolic acid at night instead. Some people can tolerate a glycolic acid and a retinol or tretinoin both at night.
If you have hypersensitive skin, forget about exfoliating. I don't exfoliate since my skin barrier is already fragile but my serums are definitely putting in the work they are supposed to 😌
how do you know if your skin barrier is fragile? Are there certain indications?
@@buckshot1488 it's irritated easily. Look for any peeling/stripping, redness, etc.
Thanks for this information
No problem
My skin is so dry. What is a good lactic acid?
@Skynfyx thank You. What exfoliant should one use if she currently has hyperpigmentation and oily skin? Thank you
What about combination skin? Which form of exfoliator?
Don’t waste your money on exfoliants.. skin shed dead skins everyday by itself. You are suppose to leave and protect the skin on, not shed them. That is why you apply moisturizer. Skin is a protection not an absorbent. I woudn’t worry about how much skin take because the difference should be minimal, even with needling like mts method.
I have dry and flaky skin near my nose and mouth area ..can you suggest a good moisturizer or serum for this. I am using multi peptide currently and honey brand face moisturizer
Can I use salic acid and then vitamin c serum?
Yes. Can combine both of these ingredients
I think on that day we shouldn't. rather use something hydrating, like hyaluronic acid or niacinamide. check on the Internet too
What about 15% aha 1%bha chemical peel exfoliate can I use it daily or twice a week
Hello..am using salicylic acid face wash, toner salicylic and niacianamide...and snail moisturiser which serum can i use to pair them i have combination skin but it has acne sometimes
After 10% aha bha I forgot washing my face for atleast 30 mins and now my skin feels tight, irritated and burning. What to do
Hi, I have Rosacea.. can you introduce me some sun screen
What abt sensitive skin?
Please is azelaic acid an exfoliant?
I am new to skincare routine and I just start a retinol but I have breakouts before I started, so I'm confuse on what exfoliant to incorporate.
Can I use AHA BHA toner then Vitamin C Serum?
Yes you can

What are the other 4 mistakes🤷🏾♀️
what about for combination skin?
Is retinol counted?
I use ceraveSA smoothing cleanser. And the ordinary glycolic acid at night. Am I over doing it? I mean what do you think ?
Can.
I may have ruined my skin exfoliating too much. So... Uh... This isn't applicable to me, right?
Depends how u r doing it
Exfoliating?
Iono bro
I don't think I can exfoliate anymore because my face just burns and it's always dry and flaky now

Hi doctor ,
can you recommend an exfoliator for sensitive skin?
i watched one of your other videos mentioning that lactic acid, salicylic acid or glycolic acid is not good for sensitive skin type.
Can use gentle exfoliator and don't use too often for sensitive skin
@@Skynfyx Thank you
I can’t with sensitive skin?
Sir ...I have very dry skin with pigmentation... which formula serum is good for my skin type.. please reply.
Can use ingredients like niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, alpha arbutin
I have combo skin with oilier T zone and dry cheek area. What type of exfoliator should I use?
I have whiteheads on my nose. And I got some bumps after starting basic skincare.
For blackheads and whiteheads, salicylic acid and glycolic acid is recommended ingredients.
@@Skynfyx thank you so much!❤️
Can you put glycolic acid directly into your cleanser?
You can use toner or serum that contains glycolic acid
I dropped my bottle on the floor a few days ago...it splashed all over...my heart broke😭😭😭
Love this. I hope you will do the same videos about discoloration
Doc.... You're cute 🥰🥰❤❤
Or derma-roll & You wouldn't need to?
Guy is Oversmart.... Trying all Marketing strategies sincerely 😂
Damn the last four changed my life 🤝
What is exfoliate? 😭
does my skin have to be really dry before applying the serum or is it enough with a damp face?
Half dry also can not too damp
vitamin c , lactic acid n retinol are applied on dry skin. niacinamide also I think.
hyaluronic ate on damp skin.
At which age should we use serum?
Serums can be used at any age. But don’t need it. Serums are a high profiting business . Waste of money.
Any time also can

Exactly! His skin is a true reflection …especially never take advice from a dermatologist who works for big Pharma
💀
Dude, you yourself have breakouts?
lol what. you think dermatologists have to have perfect glass skins all the time? They are still humans duh
Your skin look full dill why you not using
awful top
Very bad advice, exfoliants are not for everyone chemical or physical, especially not on the regular.
Watching videos like these makes me cringe of how shameful these people should feel. Getting paid to sell big PHARMA products. It’s selling prescription drugs in the beauty products.
🤣🤣
No one's listening to you because you're speaking utter nonsense
okay that's 1. where are the other 4 mistakes? am i a mistake?
Can i use PHA toner before applying vit c serum????
Try not to. Apply vitamin C serum in the morning and your PHA exfoliant at night
