Now its all systems and most teams try and play the same and all players are athletes rather then having football brains and they are told how to play and have 'plays' set up ready like in American sports. Players have no personality anymore. Look at Grealish who i cant stand but at Villa he played with freedom now hes just a cog in a machine doing exact same things that any player would do in his position under Pep. The bubble is going to burst on the premiership soon like it did in Italy, people will get fed up especially with the saudis

Scholes had a crazy good season playing in this role this season. He could do Lampard role all day long and do it better but he changed to a deeper role even so his stats are better

Beckham got axed by england after 06 then we failed to qualify in 08. In fact we almost qualified soley because of his return. I'm not saying beckham was perfect but he wasnt "the problem". We were getting run in midfield. Mangers didn't have the balls to drop one. Carrick should've played more
