Thank you for your information. I have a lot of craft projects in preparation and, given my age, I'm afraid that starting und finishing more tram models will mean that I have to become very old... Life is finite (unfortunately or fortunately). All the best Helmut G.

I did find out about the prototype in the end, this is the notes of the rail fan that captured a few photos where it is housed...The oldest surviving Shizuoka Railway (Shizutetsu) vehicle is electric freight tram Dewa-1 which was built as De-10 by Nippon Sharyo in 1926 with Westinghouse electrical equipment and a J.G. Brill bogie. It could carry 20 tons of cargo in the van body and pull an 80-ton train. The only brakes equipped were manual, and the couplers were British-style "buffer and chain" couplers. The Shizuoka freight tram was retired in 1982 and is kept at the Shizuoka works. Anyway it might end up on my 00 scale municipal tramway, after I finish all the other trams on my workbench. I'm currently working on a Melbourne Metropolitan Tramways scrubber tram. I will do a video on it when it is up and working. Ein elektronischer Fahrregler steuert meine analog betriebene Anlage. Modelle und deren Antriebe sind bis zu 65 Jahre alt. Deren Stromaufnahme liegt bei zweimotorigen Modellen bei bis zu 1,6 Ampère. In sehr vielen meiner Antriebe befinden sich Motore, die zum Beispiel auch bei Halling noch heute zum Einsatz gelangen. Ein Teil meiner Antriebe hat recht grobschlächtige Fahreigenschaften, häufig bedingt durch ein ungünstiges Übersetzungsverhältnis von Zahnkranz und Schnecke. Der elektronische Fahrregler verleiht auch diesen suboptimalen Antrieben erträgliche Fahreigenschaften. Außerdem ist damit ein zeitverzögertes Anfahren und Bremsen möglich - ein wichtiger Aspekt wenn der Filmer gleichzeitig filmen und fahren muß. Mein elektronisches Fahrpult hat allerdings auch zwei schlechte Eigenschaften. Einige Motore neigen mit diesem Regler zum Vibrieren und Brummen. Da meine Schienen mit der hölzernen Unterlage fest verbunden sind, wirkt das geräuschverstärkend. Allerdings haben die Vorbilder meiner Modelle vor 60 - 120 Jahren auch nicht gerade beim Fahren gesäuselt, ich kann ich damit gut leben. Der zweite Nachteil meines Fahrregler ist, dessen Gleichstrom verträgt sich nicht mit Glockenankermotoren, die Hitzeentwicklung läßt sie nicht alt werden. Ich hatte es versucht... Es gibt also Gründe, warum meine Motore vielleicht ungewohnte Geräusche verursachen. Ohne Kompromisse kommt man auch beim Hobby nicht aus.
