So he learns and grows and becomes even wiser.
I don't even like the idea of abandoning the Jedi and Sith ways either or even have TLJ the way it is. Really the sequels have a nostalgia problem(Not that they can't use concepts like Jedi and Sith, more of mimicking things that happened in the past in a very obvious way, not respecting it either).

the fact that they lead into the Original Trilogy is what makes them awesome, yah you can enjoy both trilogies separately, but they are so much better together. The Prequels start off setting up the universe, then it's hero falls to the Dark Side and shows the price of falling to it, everything is in a dark place with the bad guys in control, but there is still a small sliver of hope. Years later we see both of Anakin's children have a major impact, Leia helps lead a rebellion, and later Luke starts to follow his father's foot steps and train to become a Jedi, eventually it ends with his father returning to the light and killing the man who caused all the galaxies pain and suffering. then from there you can follow 1 of 2 timelines where the Emperor returns from death. you have 1 where Luke finishes what his father started and his friends try to hold together the peace they brought to the galaxy, or you can watch a movie trilogy that is slapped together with glue and duck tape and labeled as the "conclusion". but it proceeds to ruin everything good about the classic six film saga.
The originals were some of the best movies ever made and what made Star Wars popular in the first place

The image of Anakin snapping back to the light side while being healed only for the gravity of what he'd done after turning to the dark side to hit him all at once is so sad and heart wrenching. Can you imagine a burned and mutilated Anakin waking up from his medically induced stupor only to begin crying and incredulously asking aloud "what have I done?"

They learn both of the light and the dark and how to balance it. In the end, it was Anakin's betrayal of the Jedi that ultimately led to the force coming into balance....... Or so it would seem........ cut away to Snoke saying: "Our strategy must now change" (from The Force Awakens)"

I mean, in most situations that wouldn't make sense, but at that particular moment things were too desperate to consider the moral ramifications of Anakin's actions. They needed everyone they could get to take on the empire even with Palpy already dead, that last thing they needed was to fight among themselves.
That being said, in a sense, Anakin's continued service to the reformed Jedi order could be considered to be an attempt to at least partially make up for his actions under Palpatine.

He foresaw a future of what Anakin was going to become. The Jedi in their rightiousness failed and were confined by rules and limited themselves in achieving the balance.... They believed that defeating evil would bring balance, but with out good and evil, balance would not be achieved. Free will and choice ended the imbalance of dark and light sides of the force. ... Actually, he did fulfill the prophecy by destroying both the Jedi and Sith, so the force could have a balanced, fresh start. That's why Snoke had Kylo destroy Luke's new Jedi order.

Thanos Car because in terms of raw power windup was much stronger then obi wan, much of obiwans battle prowess didn’t come from his force powers, in fact in terms of force power he was rather lacking. But what really made him such a powerful Jedi was his utter mastery of form 3 Soresu, the defensive form. Basiclly.... you couldn’t hit the guy every attack would be blocked or deflected. Obi wan turned his blade into a shield
I think its cause Mace used Vaapad (Alt Form VII), which uses your opponents dark side against them.

This is one of the greatest pieces of any Star Wars based story ever conceived. They need you on the payroll. You just provided the ability to retell the SWU in a new alternate universe way that is just as complying as the original. It’s so funny how you’re telling same story that clone wars, rebels and the sequel trilogy are telling but in a you own way but ppl hate the sequels. The Jedi and Sith must died and the combined force itself be the only way. May the force continue to guide you forever in its way

Dooku never really was a sith, but more used Palpatine to achieve his goal of reorganizing the Jedi after Order 66. but he was never meant to make to Order 66, it was always going to be Anakin who would rule at Palpatine's side. He knew when he first met him that he was "The chosen one".
Which I think this story fits the prophecy better than what Lucas did. Unless he meant for Luke to be the chosen one.

Perhaps a sequel to this very fanfic? As Anakin has survived his turn to the dark, and Padmé has lived to see her children grow and, at least in Leia's case, have grandchildren, how would the Fabulous Foursome (Yoda?, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Luke) have trained Ben Solo and faced down Snoke and the First Order?
The first order wouldn't exist since It was the remnants of the Empire and the Empire hadn't even existed for 24 hours at that point.

Ben Solo would also not exist since the only reason Han and Leia know each other is because Luke hired him to save her. In this universe, not only there would be no one to kidnap Leia, but also there would be no reason for Luke to be in Tatooine to meet Han in the first place.

Actually, the Galactic Empire would still have been a thing, just not under Palpatine's rule. Mas Amedda would be the immediate successor with Palpatine dead and Anakin no longer in any position of power within the imperial government, followed by Tarkin (who would still be a Grand Admiral, not a Grand Moff, since the rank of Moff in the Galactic Empire was instituted by Palpatine as a throwback to the old Sith empire). As a result, the Alliance to Restore the Republic would still come into existence, and there would still be a galactic civil war.
The difference would be that the Rebellion would have Jedi among their ranks from the start, which while bolstering their ranks would also be even more polarizing, seeing as though Palpatine did a REALLY good job at "proving" that the Jedi "attempted to usurp the Republic" during his incredibly short reign as Emperor. We could end up actually seeing the First Order form earlier than it did. Or alternatively, we don't see a First Order, but we DO see Snoke take over the Galactic Empire.

Lucas made a mess of things by starting in the middle. There would be no Vader with this ending, making episodes 4 - 6 problematic. There would also be no Palpatine, unless he's cloned himself. Who would be the antagonist for the new Star Wars Universe? This ending doesn't fit, unfortunately, despite being superior to what we ended up with in Episode 3. I'd love to see this grey Jedi order play out.
Fan fiction can be your own canon. You can twist and warp star wars. In fiction, you can create more fiction.

Darth Maul it depends if Qui Gon was killed too. If they were both killed, Anakin may not have been trained by the Jedi (remember the council's disapproval) and could have been taken in by Senator Palpatine instead right then. Things with Padme may still have happened, but it wouldn't have been the same.
