- Today’s fan-fiction will be one I’ve never done before. What if Obi-Wan killed Anakin on Mustafar? Kenobi didn’t finish Anakin because one, he couldn’t bring himself to do it, and second, by the time he travelled down the high ground to kill him, potentially falling into the lava himself, he would waste his moment of escape as Palpatine landed. For he knew if the Emperor came before him, he would surely die, as Yoda must have lost. This is all from the explanations in the novels, but today’s video will cover what if Obi-Wan had gone down that mountain of high ground to kill Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith.

Light side ending: While choking Kenobi, sidious is completely immersed in the dark side. Kenobi reaches out with an open hand, like he's trying to force push the emperor. Sidious laughs at the feeble attempt, but stops when he feels a searing pain on his legs and back. Kenobi had used the force to splash the dark lord with red hot lava. The emperor screams and crumples, wounded but not dead, as obi wan escapes to padme's ship and flees with padme and the droids

He probably should've killed anakin more quickly. Like force push him into the lava river instead of walking down the high ground. That would've allowed him to escape before sidious arrived.
Qui-gon should never have made Anakin drop. That would have saved the Jedi and galaxy lots of trouble.

right as the Emperor was about to fight Obi Wan they both suddenly hear a voice coming from above

before they can react - *BAM - Windu falls on the emperor can kills him
Windu: "DAYUM!"
He makes a clone of Vader just like they did for starkiller, but this clone Vader is far too powerful and palpatine knows it.
The clone doesn’t suffer from the previous Vader’s injuries.
So Palpatine grows fearful of the new Vader and tries to dispose of him but of course the new Vader escapes only to hate palpatine, though he is not good, he’s haunted by the memories of a woman, one who brings him comfort but also pain, yet he can’t recall her name, this new Vader driven by fear, and confusion meets up with Darth Maul and their combined hatred of the sith leads to a new power in the galaxy not aligned with either the sith nor the rebellion.
Also the Jedi order isn’t nearly as destroyed since Vader had hardly started hunting them. So the rebellion is in better shape as well.
This leads to a chaotic three way war between good evil and chaos.
The only problem with your version is Palpatine took on Anakin because he wanted of how powerful he Anakin could become and he wanted Anakin to pretty much take over the sith.

He might have intended to Essence Transfer into Vader's body at some point or some other Sith voodoo shenanigans, but in Eps III he clearly intended for Vader to reach his full potential.

I mean put yourself in his shoes, he spent years manipulating Anakin, pulling the strings behind the war that would leave him in power, his life has all lead up to the Sith ruling, him and his apprentice Vader would be the Sith that would torment and subjugate the galaxy for decades with their immense strength, he killed Dooku and Grievous was dead, the Jedi were destroyed and the separatist leadership murdered, and then Obi Wan kills Anakin, all his life work culminated to the activation of a lightsaber, literally who wouldn’t just yeet themselves into the fires of mustafar after that

I think Qui-Gon showing up to him as a force ghost and giving him information he needs to access a control over the force he's never had before would be a pretty cool way to get him out of there

Whilst I understand why you did it dramatically, I don´t really think that Kenobi was so pressed for time to not be able to kill Anakin without leaving before Palpatine arrived.

Even if he didn´t do it in a hurried fashion, I still think he could have easily avoided Palpatine.
I think it more on how it would go down. Like he showed here Obi-Wan wouldn't just casually dispatch Anakin. If he could do that he would have just forcer pushed him into the lava from the top of the hill. No....he would do it up close and personal....hesitating for precious moments while he lamented his friend.
Palps takes Anakins body back with him and turns him into a “Starkiller, second game where he lost to Palps, sith assassin machine menace”.
The ultimate destroyer, without the limitations he placed upon him as Vader (the suit).

I like the idea of Kenobi turning the tables on Palpatine in the moment when Palp is reveling in his impending victory. Or, potentially, in his hubris, Palpatine decides to take Kenobi prisoner rather than kill him so that he can force Kenobi to witness Luke and Leia being raised as sith. Kenobi later escapes the Emperor's clutches and the spirit of Qui-Gonn leads him to Dagobah to reunite with Yoda and hatch a plan to liberate the galaxy.

He couldn't much longer. Obiwan knew it, the rage in Palpatine was making him stronger, while making obiwan weaker by the minute. He threw his last weapon at the sith lord, his lightsaber, the last sign of his jedi ways. Palpatine deftly sidestepped, and in that instant Obiwan put all his force powers together and pushed the man, the thoughts of Anakin and his time together flowing in his mind. He grabbed Padme with the little strength he had left, and limped toward the shuttle, escaping palpatine with seconds to spare.... I'll write the rest later

I think he would have enough time to simply kill him and leave. There was a significant gap in the movie between him leaving and Sidious arriving. And then there is force speed...to hurry things up.

Why does Obi-Wan need to walk down from the high ground to finish off Anakin? A simple force push would have taken less than a second. Obi-Wan still could have escaped just like in the canon timeline.

This is really interesting! It would be interesting to see how Padmé would have reacted if Obi wan killed Anakin (in the light version). If she survived then is worth to add. I’m one of those who think she didn’t die out of sadness but because Palpatine killed her to save Anakin.
Maybe as Palpatine is choking Obi Wan, Obi Wan could force push Palpatine into lava or something along those lines. I can't wait for the animated version of this! :)

The light side version could be that initial blow when Vader jumps over Obi Wan and instead of a slice to the legs it’s to the chest leaving him with time to leave. Also what if Obi Wan didn’t lose hope but brought Anakin back to the light similar to Revan
Plot twist ending: Obi-Wan is filled with sorrow as he kills the man that was once his brother, even though he knowns it is for the best.
Obi-Wan then sees an imperial ship land on the far docking bay, Obi-Wan thinks, 'it can't be true, no one could've defeated him that fast...'
But it is true, Obi-Wan must stay for the sake of the galaxy.
He sees the figures of the clones and their evil leader approaching
As they emerge into enough light so that Obi-Wan can see them, a voice calls out from the shriveled dark leader of the new Galactic Empire.
"Is it done Kenobi??"
"Yes Master, it is" Obi-Wan replies.
"Only two there must be, now come my apprentice, an Empire to run, we have"

Obi Wan would have to surrender to the force as he did when fighting Grievous, letting the Force guide his blade and movements almost in an Avatar State. While giving himself to the force he would sense what attacks Palpatine was going to throw at him and the optimal counter. Even with this newfound power, Obi Wan is still no match in a head on fight. He would retreat away from the ships and try to gain just a moment to use his communicator to tell Padme's ship to leave before Sidious can capture the skywalker twins. The force would guide Obi Wan to an ocean of lava with geysers erupting all around. Obi Wan would sheathe his saber, look at palpatine, and fall backwards into it at just the right moment for a geyser to erupt in front blocking the emperor's view.
After landing on another of the units floating above the lava Obi Wan would hear the voice of Qui Gon in his head, guiding him not to Padme's ship but to the now dead separatist leaders. Obi Wan would fly away, but not before blasting Palpatine's shuttle to buy them all some time
