What an insane card to bet on. I won some and lost some... but this was the furthest from perfect i've ever been. This card was insane. Rebecki getting beat up, Menifield sleeping in 10 seconds, Lewis fanning his shorts at a sleeping Nascimento...
The one that bugs me the most is Ruziboev. I hope he takes this loss and fills the holes. Because he has huge potential and a super fun style. Props to buckley, though. He had the exact game plan, the only game plan that would make his height an asset rather than a liability. He did great.

You have no clue about judging.
"Damage trumps all" is NOT in the rules(impact is the word which is used),effective Striking AND effective grappling are both criteria No 1(no word about you have to do damage out of a dominant position to make it count as effective grappling)
A succesful takedown counts as effective grappling even if you do no damage with it.Again no word (in the judging criteria)about a takedown isn't worth anything and it only counts what you do after you have secured a succesful takedown.
That means in round 1 Ruziboev won on the feet but Buckley could secure 2 takedowns and won the grappling part so it is absolutley legit to give Buckley Round 1.
Round 2 is clearly Buckley's round,Ruziboev was ahead in terms of effective striking but only slightly(not clearly ahead as in round 1 because Buckley had good moments in round 2,too).Buckley could again secure 2 takedowns and this is more than enough to outweigh the difference of the effective striking in this round(which wasn't that much).

You're complaining but can't back up your claim.
No word in the judging criteria a TD with 0 damage doesn't count as effective grappling(one of a few myth along with"damage trumps all" about the rules ).

The fact that Waters had that big of a height and reach advantage along with Goff being so gassed and STILL couldnt get a finish is actually embarrassing and i thought Goff won that fight due to the constant pressure.

It's always been a thing. Dont do anything that even remotely resembles a tap if you're defending a submission. Which is crazy hard when someones wrapped around your neck and you panic reaching for anything. It was a clear tap.

As i said a takedown counts but you can't find in the judging criteria how many strikes(and how hard they have to be)are needet to compensate a sucessful takedown,4,5,6,7 jabs?,2-3 middle hard punches?or maybe more/less it is not clearly stated in the rules that means it is up to you to determine when the worth of a takedown is compensated with effective striking.
personally i had round 1 for Buckley because i think 2 takedowns were enough to exceed Ruziboev's advantage in the effective striking area but the judging criteria allows different opinions at this point so it is legit to see it 3-0 for Buckley but it is also legit to see it 29-28 for Buckley.
But i have to agree to make a case it could be a draw is a BS take(it is a typically MMAJOEY take)
