It definitely needs a little less fuel and definitely more air but it definitely is putting down decent power for what you did nice job
I definitely agree it definitely needs a little more air definitely.
Definitely.
Definitely
This dude got the chillest comment section. Good job bud
I was close with my guess from the last video lol, good job tho, I’ll always have a soft spot for a hotrod 6liter, keep it up man
defiantly hpop, odawg to atomize your air / fuel make it run much cleaner. built trans can definitely help put your power down
Nice it makes some good power! I would do a bigger cam and odawg intake
FINALLY! this beast can finally put down the power! (Haven’t watched yet)
I’ve seen 155/30’s get the same or higher HP. With Matt’s tuning too…which I think is the best tuning out there
Definitely need to get more air in her stage 2 odawgs intake, a set of headers and figure out away to pull some fuel out of it, she’d make close to 600
if the dyno wasnt loaded it will make less power but a bigger hpop is a must like he said
exactly what I was going to say. the dump run was WAY too fast for the numbers to be very accurate. would have picked more hp up there, and a pump that will actually atomize the fuel (with less fuel too,) are going to make so much more power
Ive got 7000 in parts where did you get the other 13000 from
great video! It's louder in person!
I made over 500 on stock injectors and a stage 2 turbo plus head studs and suck making 32 psi so definitely your tuneing but get head studs and ringed heads should do 700
traction bars coming soon? axle seemed to move forward
205/100s!!! Good lord! What are those exhaust temps at! I'm running 205/30s with a stage 2 hpop but I'm running just the stock 03' turbo till I swap out the gears for 4.56s
You both need bigger air!
Time for some FICM tuning HP Tuners & some big OIL
What gear is he doing the pulls in it’s revving so fast like it’s in 2nd gear, needs to be in 1:1 converter locked up
Have you upped the voltage on ficim?
I'm wondering if it was choking because you had no forced air going through the grill.
Gail Banks would not be pleased.😅
W
Need some traction bars next I seen the axel move atleast and inch on the driver side
Must have odawg intake manifold if you want big power
Loaded dyno would help a good bit
Congrats. 500hp is pretty good! Make sure you O-ring the heads when you get studded. 1000hp is hard on any studded truck.
Just buy o ringed heads, no need to o ring stock ones, they flow like shit and it’s a waste and 90% of the time they’re cracked if you check them
@@KDIGGG 100%… this is great advice. Only NEW heads! Classic mistake shops make is taking too much material off the re-used 6.0 heads. They need to be strong with the less studs. Not worth the risk-just buy NEW heads. Ford actually added material to the center of the later model 6.0 heads.
@@edwardman1742 yup that’s how the 6.4/ updated 6.0 push rods started, plus buying a used truck you ultimately have no idea what was previously done and if material was already taken off, if you take off any more you can be fucked in other words. I go with KDD, their heads are actually beefier, flow better, and oringed. I’m not worried about them cracking unless I do extreme shit
I knew when you stated in one of the other videos, "it's just smokey from the injectors, it's going to be like that", that wasn't accurate. I've personally seen some nice HP number trucks letting out dang near stock emissions amount of smoke.
Gale Banks has some e words about smoke and tuning
Yes this guy is more than a little misinformed. Stock oil isn’t enough for those injectors and needs better tuning 💯%
Mines stock with edge tune bullet proofed and does 400
Black smoke doesn’t make power turn down the fuel a bit and turn up the boost a lot
Something definitely not right. I put down 500WHP with stock turbo and 170/stock injectors.
Have you dynoed your 6.7 also? Or are you just comparing this to factory 6.7 hp ratings?
Should have gone a large gated turbo especially with an auto
Are you actually gonna use it to tow? Or just try to make a diesel fast?
Defending needs some more work considering a stock injector truck makes 447 on a full fuel tune.
what should my 1st power upgrade be on my 6.0, its next to stock. it has an egr delete and i took the muffler and cat off
I would say stud it, then tune it, then bigger turbo. Then if u wanna get rowdy do bigger injectors.
upgrading my oil cooler and replacing the radiator was one of the best things for my truck.
@@2003-2fitty bet thankyou
@@eternal375 thankyou il do that
@@2003-2fittyI agree. My truck is studded. Kc stage 1. Stock fuel. Blessed tunes. And I’m a bit faster than a canned tune deleted 6 speed aluminaduty down low and significantly faster past 70.
1k HP on that cap and frame is kamakaze man, idk if that frame would hold that type of torque bro, unless you prep and reinforce the whole frame,, and and 600 or 700hp is a nice area for this project, shooting for 1k hp is seems like you're addicted bro lol
I gotta go back and watch more videos but is it a stock trans to? I just so happen to cross your channel earlier and I'm invested lol
Yessir said it in the very beginning of this video
@@powerstrokecentral I missed it I heard engine and head bolts. My bad.brother. but great content
Definitely throw some head gaskets and head studs in and turn up the boost black smoke is wasted power!
it should be making closer to 600 hp something is definitely wrong whether tuning wise or just low icp from stock hpop
Not sure if the video was edited short or what but those pulls seems short like it was a 3rd gear pull maybe
Crazy how you only have 2 tunes from gear head I have 4 tunes from them and on my big tune on the dyno I put down 502 stock fuel and air
thats what I'm saying I think if he had different tunes and it's their dyno shouldn't they been able to revamp the tune for the mods
He would have made more with small injectors...too much injector for a stock oil pump...
before seeing the dyno sheet i would say 575-625 if you can maintain icp
yeah man youre gonna have to upgrade to a high volume hpop..you should be making alot more than that
with the hop and maybe some different tuning i should be at easily 575
@@powerstrokecentral yes I agree, if anything with proper icp, no boost issues and proper tuning you should be in the 600s easily
@@powerstrokecentrallocal guy to me puts down 691 with your exact set up. I’d be interested if the dyno is Inertia or if it’s a load cell.
@@Cole_H Those sounded like inertia runs to me, I didn't see the eddy current motors on the dyno either... Could still be a well hidden eddy dyno but just not using it for some reason? Also I'm not sure why the guy who owns the tuning company who's operating the dyno couldn't just write a new file for him right then and there? Should switch to HPT for SOTF capabilities.
When you gonna bullet proof it?
Watch some Banks videos on air and then find a tuner that can be on site
Before i even watch the dyno part im guessing like 600 to the wheels
What is the limiter at
4k
It definitely doesn’t take much to get a 6.0 over 500 Hp.
175/30’s, ODAWG intake, stg 2 cam, stage 2 turbo, fuel pump and reg return.
Plenty of guys with dyno sheet’s to prove
Hard to get HP oit of these?!! You need a new tuner! If you went with a non vgt borg warner s369 or bigger youd be able to add more fuel. I do agree you need more air not so much leaned out
how are you making 500hp -680ft-tq with 205/100 and a stage 3 turbo lol you should be at 650-700hp.
Hpop problems
Dyno your 6.7. Mine made 566.
Needs more turbo.
Get a better hoop and you should close in on the 600hp mark
100% a bad run watch Banks Powers dyno video to see a proper dyno setup! That trucks gotta be making more power it just doesn't have proper ventilation.
All these people saying smoke blah blah the problem is they didn’t load the dyno , no load no boost truck would probably make 575 with a load on dyno ! Also closest gear to a 1:1 ratio with converter locked those where all done converter unlocked
Why such Low torque numbers at 500 hp
Seemed way low on the full fuel for sure.
It needs a lot less fuel and more boost a smoking diesel is a unproper running diesel it will make more power and run better with a heat wave out the pipe watch Gail power banks everyone does diesels wrong but this guy
No way he put 20k for weak hp
Bro you have too much of not enough. Way to much fuel. That things got to be cooking hot on the EGT
You need air! Get a giant fan in front of that truck!! What on earth, can’t breathe sitting there stagnant.
brother, love the content but there is something going on with your motor, tunes, or transmission. this is the most sluggish 6.0 i’ve seen that someone has added 100 over injectors and a stage 3 turbo to… it’s also a single cab, this thing should be a rocket. my stock 6.0 with just a tune and stage 1 turbo would walk this thing. need to focus on supporting mods as well. this truck has so much potential
my 6.0 is also a crew cab 4wd at that
Still find it funny this guy does no content on 6.4 Powerstroke the one has one best performance potential
Stock 6.0 on a race tune makes 420whp💀 bro’s truck is def blown
530
600Hp
500HP
Not a bad way too spend 10 thousand dollars. - **Dominic Torretto Voice**
580hp
ur crazy to think u gonna get a crazy amount of hp... ur luckyyyyyyy to maybe crack 500 on a perfect day with that setup fix the thumbnail 1200 hp is crazy
525
Late to this party but that Dyno is not diesel friendly. I bet that truck would’ve hit your number if he brake boosted it. It’s probably nowhere near full power as it’s just blowing past those rollers. With 670 something lb ft at the wheel that’s your answer. That truck is making close if not over 1000lb ft.
Nope maybe 600, that was sight unseen, before everyone guessed the same thing. Cereals
With a 6.0, i'd guess like 520hp...
Ok I got close. I've never had my 6.0 on the dyno but maybe one day. Thousand horsepower of a 6.0 is a tall ask. I had my 6.7 up to 650 horsepower, and that was about perfect. The torque got a little scary on rainy days.
Most race engines on diesels are 6.0s if done right I can easily get to a thousand Hp with bigger injectors turbo and everything else
@@powerstrokecentral "done right" gets expensive real fast. Hope to see you hit your number.
You need to get rid of gearhead and snag a tune from @eric mcmichael and needs a s300 or s400. Get rid of that kc.
My guess is 517 HP
12000
1200
i said 575 1100 hp last video
you should try a different tune. see how it does I would think your torque should be way more than a 100 more than torque
500 is very low for that setup, something ain’t right
shoulda done a s400 if you wanted to make real power
That’s most likely the plan hopefully allllll the power
They will make around 500hp stock injector and turbo you need to do some digging you are losing alot of power you should be over 600hp
20k for 500hp 😳
Try towing a boat with your m3
Your loosing a ton with that stock trans I would bet 100hp through the clutches.
Probably shouldn’t run it in 3rd gear lol
Cut some fuel and you’d get more power. And stop saying “1000hp 6.0” because no stock 6.0 would go close
Sorry to say but your Dyno guy doesn't know what he is doing. That truck should make 600 all day at the very minimum. It's also not staying locked into overdrive and that is killing your numbers
You already have too much fuel.
