thanks just bought one,,, two questions please how long does that 1lb last of average and do you put the griddle away after each use say in a high humid area? thank you good job on the video
Hi D! I probably use one 1lb tank for about 3 or 4 meals, depending on what I am making and how long it takes to make it. For a 4 night weekend camping, I usually use around 3 of them... I usually store my griddle in the storage area of my RV. I haven't had any problems with moisture so far. Please subscribe to our channel. :)
you season any piece of steel or iron the same way. High heat, add oil with a cotton rag or shop towels (normal towels leave lint), leave on high until smoke disappears then do your next layer. You want to get the entire surface black by the time you finish all the coats.
Emma is correct... I know people use different types and have their own opinions on what's "the best". I recently started using Avocado Oil to cook as it has a very high smoke point and it's been great.
Hey fellow griddler! That’s where I plan on using my Blackstone too, on the tailgate! czcams.com/video/Yb_fD8EaXiw/video.html I got the adventure one. Thanks for sharing!
We appreciate you sharing this. We just received ours and will be using it on the road.

Just watched your video and liked how you explained the seasoning process. I just bought the same 22 inch brook-stone for my trailers well... thx

Is this a good process for an electric grill top
Honestly, I am not sure. I haven't looked into the electric one. I am sure you know by now. Sorry for the late reply.
What made you decide to apply and burn off oil 4 times? Why not 3 or 5 times? Thanks.
I wish I had a good answer for you... Probably my OCD...
After reading my post, I decided it was like the 3 bears...3 wasn't enough and 5 would have been too much but 4 was just right!
I like your answer better!@@vickimoore7646

What did you have the temp to? I don't have a thermometer
I didn't have one either... No idea!
Hi, what is the oil you’re using?
Thanks!
He said he just uses regular vegetable oil, nothing too fancy

Nice! Thanks for your comment!
To much oil at one time.
I agree, but in the end, it worked out just fine thankfully. Been working great ever since. :)
