You should try ”djungelvrål” it’s a Swedish candy that’s insanely salty!
Julia Lundmark and they're great as well!
hades child my favorite too!!
Djungelvrål*
koppakuoriainen behövde rättas
Best thing eeeeever!
Licorice is freaking amazing!
Magnus same
And good for you too!
We are a dying breed
well i like salty licorice better
No its freaking not!
I dont get it, dont you guys have licorice in the US, because nobody seems to know it?? I love salty licorice, especially salmiak, its wonderful ^^
utania i think its because americans grow up eating waffles, whipped scream and marshmallows for breakfast lunch and dinner so they dont grow up with the salty foods we eat here in Scandinavia
They have, but it tastes like sugar.
kindaoddmilla yeah we definitely eat marshmallows for breakfast lunch and dinner lol
ah ok..... i do know mild licorice, like the one Haribo uses is usually quite "mild" and a bit sweet. Interesting.
Emily Evans you literally have ”marshmallow fluff” that you put on bread.
My Japanese friends have had the best reactions to Salmiakki; they freaking hate it, but are too polite to spit it out. :'D
You should get them some Svenskjävlar. Bäst salt licorice in the world. 😁
I feel so bad for them, this stuff is horrid
Can't understand why so many people don't like it, I used to love eating salty licorice even when I was like 5 years old.
Salty licorice (or salmiakki as we call it in Finland) is sooooo goooood❤️
Todellakin on hyvaa :D
on paras
My favorite
ew
Salmiakit syödään vikisemättä!
Joo ei vikista hah haa
NII
HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE THAT??
MrAmos Exactly Its the best
MrAmos IKR, I LOVE IT!!!
if u hate salty food
simple answer
Eeewwwww I hate liquorish
sugaholic eat it little by little
Would I "try" that? I practically live on that stuff! UH! It's like crack. Proud finn!
Like, are people from the Nordic countries (like you and me) the only people in the entire world that can eat licorice without spitting it out?
@@ZhadTheRad im pretty sure most germanic ppl are used to black licorice (NOT SURE THO!!!)
Yours is better than ours 😅 Swede over here
I'm offended. I eat this all the time. I was eating some today actually. The salt is not just any salt, It's amonium salt, so it's extra salty and stingy
Ahmad Alshihabi خلعجمل
حمل
Not everyone likes what you like, there is no reason to be offended.
You say like that's a good thing...
Why are you offended? No one has to like what you like.
JAAA MANNEN!
PERKELE
JAAA GASTEN
JAAAA BRORSAAAAN
Äckliiiiiiigt
FAZIC feeeet bror
I want buzzfeed to have Eugene make a video again.
yesssssss😋😋
Only for us vikings😃 Built to take it😉
Therese Nydahl The Dutch have it as well.
Exactly 🤣
The americans only want sweet things stuffed with corn syrup anyway. More for us!!
Maiken Jakobsen I agree and they want everything in some horrid artificial "cherry" flavour😃 As you say - even better, more left to us to enjoy ✌😉
Denmark is my city
Whaaaat it tast soooo good
I worry for you 😐
Bts***** YESSSS
Bts***** I've never tried it, but I'm pretty sure it isn't that bad. Ppl made videos about marmite and natto and made them insanely disgusting. It might not be good for many but they always overreact playing for the drama action coz these videos get more views.
Bts***** no. No it does not. No one else in the world likes this but you Scandinavians. My Norwegian husband loves this stuff but it is Satan's candy in reality
I agree this is like the good stuff
Vittu mitä nössöjä
Nii vittu vikinät pois
SektorQ oikeasti👏🏼
salty licorice is the ONLY GOOD LICORICEEEEE! i’m literally obsessed with it 😂😂 like if u agree
ori ti 😂
Twizzlers are way better
Heksehyl
SUPERBOWLXLVIICHAMPS Red licorice doesn’t have licorice in it, hence it’s not actually licorice at all...
ori ti nasty
Let them eat Norwegian brown cheese (brunost) next and in 2018 nobody will visit Scandinavia anymore.
Gozewijn Goossens HAHAHAH ikke sant
jaa brunost er så godt ❤
It's the best though! Cheese tasting sweet and caramel-esque! It's great! :D
Let them eat lutfisk and surströmming.
Gozewijn Goossens I think that cheese is the reason my ancestors left Scandinavia. We kept all the stinky fish, but that stuff? Nope.
Those are one of my favourite candies! My heart breaks just watching people spit those goodies out 😂
They should try Djungelvrål!!
Ida Ingerskog ikr
@@ellenn6246 say that to americans lmao
Americans LOL
Uhhh.. What do you mean?
Americans are crazy
Mikkel Arnseth ikr
J Alberto nah because they aren’t american
saltney17 Well do you personally know all Americans? I doubt it. So you can't say that we're crazy. Some, yeah, but not just Americans in general.
i LOVE licorice, and i am scandinavian;)
Absolutely LOVE salty licorice! It's a grown up taste.
Suomi
Tompp ei vittu ollu, vitun buzzfeed olis ees ostanu poppamiehen salmiakkia.
En oikeesti tajuu et miks kukaan ei tykkää salmiakista ku se on ainaki yks mun lempi karkeista
Salmiakki on best
perkele
Tompp no Niipä
Bästa godiset juuh
Definitely try Dracula or Tyrkish Peber
🙋🏼🖤 Proper salmiakki hey! 🇫🇮🇫🇮
Finland, the bad part of scandinavian
@Reinert - Surely you mean "the _badass_ part of Scandinavia" ;)
Hey
Reinert Finland, not a part of scandinavia and also with the best school system...
Bruh.. licorice is life !
5777 I am Norwegian and licorice is literally awaawsome
I don’t understand, like yeah I’m Swedish and I eat a LOT of salty liquorice like djungelvrål and stuff but I don’t particularly like liquorice without salt on it. I just don’t understand how some people can hate it
They should do more Scandinavian themed videos, we deserve more representation. Like if you agree!
"We" don't "deserve" anything! For the amount of people in Scandinavia we get some of the most attention anyone gets.
EirikXL No.
i am getting some sent to me from finland. she wants my take on it. sure thing! i have a wee bit of finaland blood in me so why not!?
No u don't
@@EirikXL Yeah you know what! We do and that's like the most Swedish thing you could say! Don't pay more attention to us! Were not that special. Why not look at estonia or ghana. They don't get talked about much.
Jantelagen and such. But also a good point
I love salty licorice!!
in Scandinavia, licorice is honestly as normal as chocolate. I guess Americans didn't really grow up with licorice, as we looove it here in the north;)
Mille Leonora You Nordics are very strange people. As we say in German, you are verrückt!
As a Norwegian enjoying those, these taste tests are so much fun to watch!
I live in iceland amd this is sold here in every shop and everyone loves this and licorice is soooo normal here😂😂😂😂
They should try "tyrkisk pepper"
omg my fav candy
Haha, they wouldn't be able to handle it. I can easily eat a bag on my own
Salmiak is amazing. Just...mmm yes im a proud scandinavian
This is an acquired taste if anything. You grow up with it, you love it. Imagine giving a good glass of red wine to someone who has never tasted it nor alcohol... imagine the reaction. But yes, for some reason especially nordic countries love it.
Never seen or tried this particular type of candy despite being Swedish, but I do like salty licorice and especially Djungelvrål which is absolutely amazing. Djungelvrål has a very salty coating and once you get through that, the licorice inside is just amazing. The licorice candy itself is actually not very salty, it’s just the powder coating, and the actual licorice of Djungelvrål has a very special flavor to it, very smooth and doesn’t have that bitterness to it that some licorice can have
Don’t be so salty bout it😛😂
I'm Norwegian and this is honestly one of my favorite things !! Mmmm 🐙🐙🐙
Better than chocolate
This candy works wonders when you feel sleepy and you have a project to finish the next day.
i am scandinavian and i love salty licorice! its literally the best thing ever
this is so weird for me I have always called them ghosts and now you are telling me it squids? wat?
Same! Mindblown :D
Saltlakrits! 🇸🇪🇸🇪
albawiklund elsker det🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
Salmiak är finska godis. Så 🇫🇮🇫🇮
🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪
Im swedish and i LOVE licorice!
Buzzfeed video idea: Americans try to make a video on something that's not just people eating on a amateur camera.
weakness disgusts me
Same. Ugh.
Those are so goooooood
I'm American and I looooove salmiakki and dubble zout. it's ammonium chloride not sodium so it taste different than regular salt, and it's really good.
I love salted Black Licorice!!!! When ever I go to Sweden I always buy bags full
Any scandinavians here??
All of us.
Line Saetren Norwegian. Love salty sweets
Nothing but Scandinavians and Finns. Possibly some Belgian, Dutch and North-German infiltrators, but they seem to be hiding in the shadows.
As a swede i can tell you.... THOSE ARE NOTHING
They are so good 😍😍 remember eating them when I was little
We in the netherlands have loads of those as well. Salmiak is one of my favourites.
Sooo this is a thing we Dutchies eat like literally every day xD
Jochem Drost Ummm, ok, I doubt that, maybe once every week, like Friday or Saturday, or one in the middle of the week as a little sweet (and salty) snack. But every day? Nah.
Hell yes, Sweden!
Swedistan!
Oh my god that stuff is the best candy in the world! My parents brought me some from Sweden a few years back and I loved it 💗
Salty Licorice? Oh yes everytime 1 of my favorite chosen types of candy and it goes so well with some of our local german beers
Gilla om du är svensk
I love small youtubers
TheSaucyShow wot do you mean?
He's trying to indirectly gain attention for his channel (self-promotion)
Well i love it, can't get enough of this stuff
I'm from Sweden and I love love love salt Licorice!
I have this petpeeve with Americans the way they just spit food out like that
Fr
datkittykat0519 not like Americans.
OMG i just tought of that! so picky
Nah, man. I tried giving this candy to people in China and they're polite enough to try and swallow it. Not that they had to, they quite obviously hated the thing, but they put in a valiant effort! ;-)
C Onsberg that's the point tho like, you don't like It? I'm not forcing you to either, but at least gave it some valid effort or just don't spit it out so openly, it's just about politeness, like eat what you have in your mouth or at least show that you're trying to give it chance, I tried to give it to some friends in Korea, they were not a fan , but at least they were polite about it. This is just rude, it really annoys me.
WTF sides.im from norway and salt licorice is so GOOD
You can get a similar product in Germany. It's amazing!
They are my favorite! The saltier it is the better it is! Yummy!!
Fy fan vad gott
Just got the nintendo switch
Gabriel Samayoa good 4 u i guess
Gabriel Samayoa gfy! No one cares
Penguin Love then why did you care to respond
*shots have been fired*
Its Scandinavian, I haven't had this, I really want to try this because I love licorice
It's actually tastes really good! Once you try it you can't stop eating it:)
It's basically the best thing in the world and y'all're wrong
Salty Licorice? No thank you...
It’s so good
It's soooo good.
Infinite Athletics it's pretty good tho
Right
It's amazing
It’s so weird to me that people don’t like it - I grew up with it here in Denmark, and it is literally my FAVORITE type of candy 😅
I love those, I always get them when I go to ikea :D
#notificationsquad
Don't worry. Despite being a Swede I seriously hate the taste of liquorice. Salty or not. It has nothing to do in my mouth.
more for the rest of us then! ;)
Weak Scandinavians end up in Hel, not Valhalla :D
I have a good friend that was a foreign exchange student (from Denmark) last year, and she had me try all her favorite salted licorice, and plain licorice. Some are really good, others burn your mouth by the extreme saltiness.
I've actually tried it and enjoyed it (purchased at "Sockerbit" in NYC).
I am Swedish and I HATE licorice. Specially our, it's not even licorice anymore 😂
Yes!! I'm from Sweden and that's is my favourite candy!! 😍
Im swedish and I LOOOVEEE Salty Licorice!!
Im Finnish And Here Is Lot Of Those Licorise Candies And Salmiak Candies !
My Favourite Is "Vanhat Autot"
And That Means "Old Cars"
They eat something similar in the Netherlands called bout, (I did not check the spelling) & some of my friends would even eat the triple zout witch has 3 time the salt
This is so good! You should give them the Dutch dubbelzoute drop (dubble salt licorice)
Here in Northern Germany many people love salty licorice 😍
I have tried it cause my brothers girlfriend is from Norway and she brings it sometimes and I love it
I live in northern germany and it is a thing here too. I LOOOVE it!!! 😍😍
Had this when i was in Berlin- its amazing
I am from Scandinavia and I love it
Lol I was just waiting for a scandinavian at the end just popping licorice into his mouth and be like I love this stuff
I would try it in a heartbeat, love black licorice!
I’m swedish so I’ve already tried it and I love it
This licorice is best used in soup for saltiness. Make sure to fish it out after about 5 minutes of boiling.
Lmao!!!!🤣🤣🤣 yes salted liquorice 'known as salmiak' is a very acquired taste. I love it though in the Netherlands it's quite common a lot of us eat that stuff it has medicinal proporties as well it helps with a soar throat but not too much because then it causes high blood pleasure
SCANDINAVIAN HIGH FIVE FROM A SALMIAK LOVER. I love hockey powder and Stupedama pastiller
Salty licorice sounds amazing!
Haha! Me and my friends love this candy
When I think of candy,
I always think of funky mouth burning salty poison,
Definitely the first flavor that comes to mind.
I'm eating black licorice now. I love it! It's really sweet.
I love those candies! I'm from Finland and I can't believe that people don't like those...
I love that!!!! I could eat them all day. Have been loving them for crazy 15 of my 26 years :D
is it just like the whole thing salty or it's just the outside?
