On the other hand i have a friend with actual anxiety issues, but coffee doesnt bother him.when i asked him how he exactly feels after coffe he said: it does make my heartbeat go up and feel energetic, sorta makes u feel anxious-ish but the good kind of it, so more like "excited" instead of anxious.
So i suppose its about how some of us percieve the feeling it gives...

I agree with you, I think physical makeup plays a role combined with personality. I don't enjoy feeling high energy as much as I'm comfortable feeling calm and awake. In my case, I'm highly sensitive to all drugs/stimuli, so prolonged exposure to caffeine gave me physical symptoms with severity that outweighed the benefits of coffee. When I started drinking 1-3 cups of coffee daily instead of the 0 I had my whole life, it felt like what I imagine cocaine would be lol. My energy level would be so much more than I was used to and it would freak me out a bit.
Personally caffeine just brings out the worst physical things I already have. The caffeine energy would turn into jitters, then anxiety, and excessive sweating (which I already experience). After a few months of daily coffee I began to get bad cystic acne on my chin (cystic acne another thing I'm already prone to), and I developed swollen lymph nodes in my armpit/breast/throat areas. I quit cold turkey and didn't drink another cup for about a year. Then I began to drink 1 cup a day for a few weeks then I experienced a VERY weird brief symptom twice...which I can only describe as either an aura or the beginning of a panic attack. I went to the doctor and didn't check out for any disorders. When I stopped drinking coffee again and never experienced it again...go figure.

Akitsune, no. Cold Brew is the best introduction. Caramel Macchiatos or Flavoured Lattés are just sweetened milk drinks with a splash of coffee (to be specific, a shot of espresso for a Tall, which is equivalent to less than half a cup of coffee).

Quite a few NIH articles say otherwise. It's moreso the sugar content that is harmful I'd imagine, given that most American consumers are prone to SBUX offerings. Like everything else in life (including expressing opinions on YT videos not based on fact), moderation is key.

I felt so bad for him that they forced two cups of coffee a day plus a coffee snack for a new coffee drinker. You have to work your way up to that tolerance. One cup would have been plenty to get him in the experience without overloading his body with caffeine that he's not used to. I feel like if they started will less and worked him up throughout the week he might have been more willing to drink it after.

Long story short from my experience I went a week without it and I had the worst migraines( I already suffer from migraines but the coffee withdrawal made them worse) and was very grumpy and sleepy there you go lol
