After a year and a half analysing the market, finally I decided to go for this wonderful machine. In this video I explain you why.
Further questions feel free to ask, because it was impossible for me to cover all the aspects.

I watched this video because I’m considering buying a Dorsoduro 900, but the beautiful scenery was what I enjoyed most. That’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. Thanks for the great video!

In fact, I'm blessed to live in a such a beautiful place and to own a magnificent machine. This baby is pure joy. It all depends on what you need, your style of riding and your purpose on the road. Every bike has it's downsides, and of course, the Dorsoduro is no exception. It does not offer wind protection, fuel level or a very comfy seat. But on the other hand it's fun, fun, and afterward heaven more fun. Quick accelerations, super agile on the traffic and corners, totally controllable 95 HP. It's such a wonderful machine, in which it puts a huge smile on my face, everytime I ride.
And remember, this happens with the stock tires. Imagine when I put some decent ones...... AHahahah.

Great review- made me a subscriber! I'm trying to decide between this, Duke 690, Duke 790 & Vitpilen 701- finding it very hard to decide because they're all so good & each has its own advantages over the others, as you know!
This is great! I used to live in the Azores (Terceira) and I just test rode this dorsoduro...great bike.
Really nice review, without the comercial touches that other's do! As I've told you before, the bike really is gorgeous! Hope she gives you a lot of fun and happy moments ✌️

Great video, I have owned a 750 for a year thinking of upgrading to 900 also considering 1200, great styled motorbikes, petrol tank size is the biggest issue in my opinion. Keep the good work up👍

Thanks to have spoken about passenger. Tpoic never mentionned for this bike...because we all like exiting bikes, but lot of us get girlfriend to share adventure with ! So to know that it is possible to pick up someone in the back is an interessting detail !

Indeed. Many reviews forget about that. In the case of the Dorsoduro, to improve passenger safety I advice to buy some handle bars. This way, the other person have something to hold on too, other that the driver.

Love my 2020 Dorsoduro 900. Haven't done the Fat Duc O2 emulator yet. The vibrations of the mirrors suck. I ordered red Aprilia decals for the radiator plastics, not the right size but they work. I've got 2800 miles on mine but was not able to ride it for a while. Been riding more that the California fuel prices are sky high. I'll start putting up more videos on my channel soon.

Ahaha. Tentei, bem tentei fazr algo diferente. Mas acho que atrapalhei-me todo. Faltou clareza, dinâmica e também fiz coisas cujas quais não tenho material para o fazer, como por exemplo, falar para a câmara. Precisava de um microfone de lapela, pois o som foi captado muito longe. Tive de fazer muitos ajustes na edição, mas mesmo assim, ficou muita podre.
Enfim, vivendo e aprendendo. :)

Sim 7L é muito, mas efectivamente ela já começou a baixar os consumos. Agora a média rola nos 6.2 L/100Km. Mesmo assim, faz uma diferença descomunal para a NC.
Os motores da Honda, são regra geral muito poupados e extremamente fiáveis e pelo que percebi a tua VFR não foge à regra.

Any comparison with the honda 750 x?
Hi there Sergio. No comparison can be made between these 2. They are totally different and serve other purposes. The Dorsoduro is a true hooligan. Fast between the corners, great torq. The Nc is a travel, a city, a fuel economic bike. Both great, but very different. :)
Nice review and a landscape I wanted to visit for a long time.
Is there an option to rent a motorcycle on that Island?

Contudo este vídeo ficou muito aquém do que queria fazer. Para mim, foi uma desilusão. Quis fazer tantos planos diferentes, dar uma certa dinâmica com acções diferenciadas, mas acabei por acusar a pressão e meter os pés pelas mãos.
Por isso, gostei muito mais do vídeo do Faial, porque não tive essa pressão e acabei por conseguir fazer um vídeo mais leve.
Enfim, também aqui estamos para ir tentando fazer coisas diferentes e desafiarmo-nos. Uma vezes ganha-se, outras perde-se. Vivendo e aprendendo :) Ehehehe.
Não obstante, fico bem contente por teres gostado.

A year as passed, but I still give you the advice anyhow and this goes for every bike. Please, always try them and test drive them. It's super important. Not only because of our body measurements, but specially because our style/our way of riding.

Hey, man, nice bike... I' looking to buy one, but I have one question, regarding seat height. How tall are you? Can you flatfoot the bike when you mount it? I'm 178cm, my concern is will I flatfoot it, cause seat height is 87cm... I'm yet to go to salon and try it out. I'm in between Dorsoduro and Shiver. Thanks in advance! Cheers!

Well, I'm 1,79, with big "cojones" and seat hight is not a problem at all. Ehehe.
Nevertheless, my friend, I always recommend to try the bike first on a test drive. Not only because of the hight but specially the way the Dorsoduro mooves. It's a very unique bike and it's not for everybody. Only the special ones can tame this beast, Muahahaha.
But seriously, go try the DD and Shiver and see if it fits your style of riding.

Hi there. Well definitely the Dorsoduro. The shiver is too small for me, less agile, lower turning angle, and personally, I am totally crazy about the looks of the Dorsoduro.

Just satisfied? On this side of the planet, I'm blown away by this incredible machine. The only Bike, I could dream of in switching the Dorsoduro it's the Hypermotard, from Ducatti. That one must be a total blast!!!!
