Tebogo's 100m final last year for me was one of the most entertaining finals of all time on any level. The way he celebrated almost hyped me up as much as Bolt's 9.69. I'd say Tebogo's 9.91 was the junior equivalent of what Bolt did in 08. Do I think he'll break the record? I don't think so, but for so long we've had a "New Usain Bolt" or "The next Usain Bolt", I feel that he and Knighton are the only 2 youngsters deserving of that "title". If he does break any Bolt WR I wouldn't be surprised.

You can see how scrawny he was as a 19yo in the flashbacks from this clip. Certainly, you don't need to be tall to run fast, and it's often a hindrance, but in Usain's case he used his long strides to great advantage.

Tonogo had the ability to run 9.89+ or faster thab 31.5 but he was showing off instead of running through the tape. Erriyon and Lyles run their hardest. Bolt regretted slowing down later in his career because he only broke 19.2 once and 9.6 once. Especially after his false start in 2008 he took every race much more seriously. Powell was the same way, and wished his records would've stayed a little longer. Tobogo doesn't know if he'll ever hold a RW so try to break them now while you still can and he'll need to run faster than anybody else has.

He's an amazing talent but a 6-0/160 I don't see him ever running close to Bolt's marks. His 9.91/19.96 were run in the very thin air of Cali. When he starts running 9.8 and 19.5 at sea level then we can talk.

Letsile Tebogo, a bit of advice...run through the tape, celebrate after! Injuries can happen to anyone at any time, and you could miss out on a PR or WR by clowning around, and then something silly happens! Get serious and run from start to finish before showing off ( if you win, that is!).

All this tell you he have lot of room for improvement altough he already was the fastest in earth at his age. Many people only see time and technique, but the athletes with great times and bad forms are the one who have a lot of potential. The ones with perfect mechanics, perfect three steps start, perfect finishing and perfect rythm are running at there own top level and maybe they have great times but not much more else to go.
