On 11/7/2019 Borderlands 3 had a hotfix that changed some big things with seasonal dlc events like Bloody Harvest, and Zane got a really big indirect buff by nerfing anointed enemies. - Hry
When we are cryoed we can't slide and anointed shouldn't be able to teleport.

as an avid Zane player, taking away anointed enemies' immunity to cryo feels so good. The changes to hecktoplasm and bloody harvest loot drops are real nice too. Great hotfix overall.
Funny how this event has no microtransactions whatsoever while the Halloween event in D2 has simple cosmetics that cost more than a season pass
Because the game is free now so they are trying to make money on the store
I'm really glad about this particular hotfix. Not just because of the changes to Bloody Harvest loot, but also because cyro actually affects Anointed enemies. Them being immune to cyro could be extremely annoying at times, so even if they can't be frozen, being able to slow them is very nice.

These drop rate increases are no joke. I've killed Haunt twice had x2 legendary drops both times and 4 loot ghosts and got x2 three out of four. That's great and all, but the cryo buff actually made me pump my fist irl. Nice hotfix.
Thank goodness they're increasing the odds of harvest gear; getting a cloning ghast call has been heck
Overall a great hotfix but some of the terror anointments for weapons are bugged, specifically the bonus cryo damage while terrified anointment. With a terror anointed weapon, the accuracy debuff shouldn’t work on you with that weapon buy when I use a weapons with the previously mentioned anointment, I still get the accuracy debuff. Hopefully they fix this quickly as this bug makes this anointment near useless.
Hey derch I have a odd fun build for amara you could try for amara. Still doin some testing amd tweaking but definitely something not used. It's a fast in and out run and gun build that uses a breaker class mod not phasezerker. Makes you tanky great sustain and still have great dmg out put. At one point in slaughter 3000 I had bunch of heavys that surrounded me and pinned to a wall and couldnt move but they couldnt kill with all the dmg they were doin compared to mi ability to heal and was able to kill them and not be put into last stand. To die in this build is really hard to

They really did increase drops a lot or else I got really lucky, killed haunt and got 2 level 50 vindicator ghast calls and a cloning ghast call. Seriously.
GREAT hotfix! Although, Haunt is still a joke on mayhem 3
Not for me, killed haunt 9 times today and only got 2 legendary drops neither bloody harvest items.
I've been getting more legendaries on normal no mayhem than TVHM mayhem 3, I'm so confused, is my luck broken, on TVHM I've never gotten a legendary from a loot ghost, on normal I get 1 or 2 every single time.
Devil's advocate: I'm fine with the Cryo change. But if a particular build for one character (regardless of how popular) has difficulty with one enemy with regard to one element, is the enemy's immunity really a/the problem? Lots of other builds that don't specialize in, but still utilize cryo, found ways to deal with the issue. Again - fine with the change (helps everyone) - Just a little concerned about what this might say about Gearbox's response to similar issues in the future.
Anointeds having cryo immunity did not just hit one particular build for Zane. A plethura of skills on Zane were purely cryo-based such as SNTNL's cryo bullets, Digi-clone's cryo nova, Brain Freeze, CCC, Best Served Cold, and Refreshment (Although this one will still not work on anointeds since it requires full freeze). This hampered Zane in general, and while it was something players could work around, it also generally pushed many players to avoid some of the aforementioned skills, because they were not useful enough in M3.
To add to that, plenty of other characters would love to be able to take advantage of cryo but stuck with the other elements since their damage was less finnicky, so overall the anointeds having immunity to cryo was making it too weak compared to the other elements. They also mention the change as a bugfix rather than balance change, so it's suspected it was never their intent to have anointeds be 100% immune to cryo, and some potential evidence of that is that anointed goons were never immune to cryo just all the other ones. The fact that only anointed goons could take cryo damage and not be frozen would seem out of place unless it was the intent for all anointeds to be allowed to take cryo damage.
Finally, think about how many bosses were immune to cryo.. It was very few, only one that really comes to mind is Aurelia. If most bosses are designed to not be 100% immune to a certain element, why do you think over-glorified badasses that spawn every fight in M3 should?

@@therogueforce THANK YOU - I was not aware of the characterization as a bug fix - or that it was only anointed goons (you are the first to clearly point that out to me). And your rational regarding Aurelia is a very good point. I will also admit that these never occured to me because I don't play Zane much (yet - although I'm aware of the cryo affinity and look forward to it), and because when I see immunity, I just go 'crap' and try something else. YOU HAVE CHANGED MY MIND. I also really appreciate you're doing it with a well-reasoned argument free of rancor. I posted the same viewpoint originally on Facebook, and a dozen people jumped down my throat. So again, Thank you.
@@someoldguyinhawaii4960 Well I apologize for your ordeal with those people. I mean honestly your concern is not necessarily wrong, I've seen it happen plenty of times. I definitely did stop and think about it for a little bit before making my argument.

Has anyone had a chance to test the haunt drop rates? I still got quite a few annointed drops (terror) from slaughter shaft last night but it’s a pain lol
Killed him once this morning and he dropped x3 legendaries. Ive killed him like 15 times and hes never dropped that many before

Yaaay now I can use cryo against Annointed militants, and still get my ass whooped by his never ending fire novas that go through my Barrier and screw Calm, Cool and Collected...

@@Derchlands I meant that annointed militants are the biggest threat to CCC focus builds because of their immune phases, and being able to deal cryo damage to them is irrelevant imo.
Apple Hookah Well we all have to deal with that. Now you can kill them link the rest of us. Immunity will eventually be addressed.
@@czar17_28 Hopefully, i just find it funny that most of the community sees that change as being benificial to Zane, while Zane was the only character that could actually slow them down before that change.
Just run when he does his fire novas and they cant hit you. Hes immune anyway so might as well run
