Tuned my Skoda rapid 1.5tdi dsg before 6 months covered around 20 k km runs smoothly and power figures are awsome around 140 bhp and 320 Nm torque!!! Awsome machine

Kindly note that this same engine is used in another big models like Octavia in Europe with higher power output. We are not pushing the output to the max, for that we have stage 2 and stage 3 with same engine internals with a bigger turbo and uprated fuel pump. Stage 1 is just an optimised engine calibration for better drivability.

Is this legal to do tuning ? And approved by the respective vehicle manufacturers?
Normally VW engines have greater potential to unlock...they don't write a new code in the ECU they just unlock the codes already exist in the chip...tats wat tuner told me...as per law its ilegal....for the engine not...but no one will find unless they look into the ECU or drive themselves a similar stock and tuned one

I don't think that the gearbox could manage these amount of torque ,the wear and tear would be in the higher side the cylinder pressure has increased ,better upgrade the intercooler to stage 2 from garret or integrated engineering

i think u meant abt turbo lag ,for that u have 2 option add one more intake with small turbo charger or change the the oem big turbo to smaller turbo...lag issue will be solved

I only get 8.5kmpl to 9.5kmpl inside Thrissur city in my Polo 1.0TSI. I highly doubt you will be getting more mileage than that inside city in stock condition.

@@praveenkumarm53 manufacturers provide the best blend of fuel efficiency, Power & drivability....and N/A engines cannot give insane power figures when tuned
@@praveenkumarm53 and moreover Hyundai, Suzuki engines are tuned to efficient in India. If those engines are brought to power improvement the body, chassis, suspension set of Hyundai maruthi can't handle. Highly risky..these cars are family and city use only...not for enthusiastic drive...if u are really enthusiastic buy European or Americans not the eastern ones
