    I would cut an opaque shower curtain to size and hang it to cover windows while you shower to block peepers and deflect water away from window ledges.

    Hey guys, I miss seeing your vids on here. I hope everything is going well for you both and you're just enjoying a long break. I hope eventually you can give us an update on your life and bus. You've really inspired my husband and me and we're living on our converted skoolie now and still working on getting things done. Blessings!

      @@GustheStruggleBus thank you so much for responding! Yeah, we've been doing bus life for about 4 months now and are really enjoying it! We actually just sold our house on Monday so we're officially bus lifers! It's very freeing! I hope you guys are doing well and I look forward to seeing an update when you're able. Blessings!

    I just finished following these steps and I'm ready to tile our skoolie shower as well. Any idea on when you guys are gonna tile yours? I might wait to see how you guys do it, since you are a pretty reliable source!
    ps: we've got our AC unit out, our full plumbing & electrical system working and our ceiling done all because of you guys' videos. THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to document your journey and making the instructions so clear and easy to follow.

    about the part on the showerpan that hasnt got a lip , it might be better to fill the opening under the board with silicone , then tile over it and silicone a bead along the tiles too , i think that gives the best protection against leaking through

    Why do they call this stuff "Red Guard" when it looks pink!? Does it really turn red at some point? Maybe they need to call it "Pink Guard" 😂You two did AMAZING putting the waterproofing together! We like how you have an "emergency exit" bottom opening window in the shower! That'll be nice to let in a breeze during a hot day while cooling off in the shower. It looks SOOOooOOO spacious! We're truly impressed how you put this together with the thoughtful placement of the shower head up in the top edge so that there's plenty of head room to have a nice shower rain down from above! We imagine that you'll probably have one of those wands on a hose also, so that you can wash Joey easily. We're looking at different wands available that won't fall with the movement of the bus, so we're curious to see which one you guys go with. It's soooo cool seeing your build come together! You're going to have the perfect tiny home on wheels before ya know it! Keep it up! The struggle is real but the payoff is going to be AMAZING by NOT having a mortgage (or rent) when you're done! Just fuel & maintenance costs (which can be minimized by staying in a spot longer.)
    We love following you two and supporting your build!

      Hhaha right! It does dry red so that might be why! We actually really love how the shower turned out even though we were both stressing out about it! We have shower head picked out with a want attached so that will be perfect! Thank you guys so much for always being so awesome!

    The redgard is supposed to be the thickness of a credit card ... use the whole container and a roller after the initial brush on. I am so glad to see y'all waterproof the concert board!!! 🥰

    Great job, guys, I would use a larger tile if your going tile that way it wouldn't take as long to tile it.

    • @GustheStruggleBus
      @GustheStruggleBus  Před 3 lety

      Thank you! Usually it is not a good idea to use large tile in a situation like this because they crack easier with the movement!
