You guys rocked this! It is definitely annoying to have to take the tank in and out, and figure out how all that stuff connects, but you nailed it! And the best part... you did it together! Way to go lovers! That must feel so great to get that done! Thanks for sharing. We got a lot out of this one. - Erin + Brian too

Hey guys! Mike from Harmony Express here. Allison and I have been following along since the beginning and I LOVE how this is coming together! Smart move with the rubber to protect your tank. Also LOVE the flush out fitting in the tank...I’m going to have to add one to our tank too!
I hate making “suggestion” comments to anyone’s videos, but on your vent, I think you might run into issues. The fitting you used is an air admittance valve. This will allow air to go into the tank and not out of the tank. The thing is, when you pour water down your drain, there needs to be some way for the air to go out of your tank when it is displaced by the water that goes in. The air admittance valve won’t let air out...only in. It will work great to let air out when you are draining your tank. You could use one of the fittings you plugged off on the end of the tank and use 1/2 PVC to run a line up to the roof of the bus so stinky air doesn’t go into the bus...
If you leave it the way you have left it, it seems that you will have issues with your tank down the road.
You guys are ROCKING this build. It is you who were one of the first channels that we watched when thinking about getting a bus... keep on rocking!!
    Mike

Hey mike! We always welcome feedback and suggestions and this a great one! I unfortunately didn't think about it that way so I will make sure to do more research and look into that. That was not the intended function so we will make sure it is doing what we need it to and if it is not we will make the improvements. Thank you so much for your support!!

Guys just so you know the paper on the sink drain is supposed to sit between the rubber gasket and the drain itself and everything is installed underneath the sink. The only thing you use to keep water out inside the sink is plumbers putty.
The paper that paco put between the sink and the drain is meant to keep the rubber gasket from being pinched by friction when you tighten it down underneath. You might have leaks in the future just wanted to let you know ❤️

smart idea using the rubber floor as a stone guard , you can extend the sideskirts of the bus , if you stick the top of the added on sheetmetal in between the rubrails and the old sheetmetal and put the screws / rivits back in you will hardly notice the add on

G'day Guys well that wasn't easy and I could feel your frustration and I bet there was some film left on the cutting floor, it turned out very good and neat. The rubber around the back of the tank was good thinking especially being so close to the wheel, I know that it's all completed and it's a great job but you could have saved a lot of heartache by using flex pipe that way it doesn't matter weather your spot on where your connecting the drain to, fore give me for mentioning it but it might help in any future instalments. All in all she is coming along well and you can see the transformation of a bus into a home and I reckon it would be a very frustrating and hard job lastly I would like to take this opportunity and wish you a very happy 😃 and safe Christmas and a very prosperous New Year, love the channel and I think that you are a great couple, God Bless John Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺

Did you guys change how the sink is mounted yet? Those little inserts will not hold up well with dishes or water in there...and seal the gap between the sink and wood! Think of it this way... if you had them pull out during installation.. they will definitely come out under use.

Toilet drain? Usually shower & sink is considered "grey" water & toilet is "black" water. You're mixing the two? I've usually seen it that way because that's how you dump at campgrounds.

Okay it's looking good except for one thing that I noticed when I was watching the video when you put the strainer assembly sue the top of the sink to the bottom there is a fibroid washer that I guess he put on the sink side and then when the strain or screws onto it from the bottom side. Where that fibered washer goes there used to be plumbers putty that was put underneath that live so when you tightened it down it would give it a waterproof seal. Are they not using that anymore last I saw they were still using that when putting a new sink in

First... it's great that the two of you are doing this, I've been following along now for a bit. Really need to go back to the beginning of the build. Second...locktight isn't necessary when using fiber locknuts. Thirdly...I mean no disrespect but your choice of music sucks. Fourth... After watching this video and the work that went into raising and lowering the tank, the holes drilled into the rubber mat should have had large fender watchers used on either side of the threaded rod top and bottom. Lastly...Other than what I just finished saying you guys are doing a great job, hope my bus turns out like yours.
