- I get this all the time - "How do I not beat the crap out of the back of my arm when I'm working with kettlebells?"
Thanks, Nick Noyes for the question.

Agreed
2nd ^ that x 1,000!
"Around the hand". Exactly right. The bottom of the KB never sees the ceiling. This tip helped my technique enormously.
02:58 "That sucks, don´t do that" - great words of advice. Thanks Mark, I love your videos.
I'm new to kettlebells - Corona purchase. Very helpful advice mate. I''ll give this adjustment to my technique a go tomorrow. Thank you!
Can confirm this statement. All new to me and just purchased a new set too. Before going wild it is very helpful to get your advise. Love the way you tried to title the video at the end. Thank you
I just purchased one today. Excited to workout with it. Working wrongly could destroy you .Great one bro. Would give you a feedback in the evening.

Curious how the kettlebells are going for you 5 months later?
hello, Mark Wildman, thank you for making available on your CZcams channel your techniques, routines and invaluable insights into kettlebell training - it’s no exaggeration to say that your down-to-earth, no-bullshit approach has inspired and motivated me, and has changed my life; the training videos are a joy and I look forward to every new post. I appreciate my increased functional strength and ability to deal with everyday physical challenges. Good for you, sir!
It does me good to hear it’s helping people
I was doing that for so long because noone explained it. Form is so important for bells..thanks!!
I have been training with kettlebells for close to 2 decades, and have seen and read alot on them obviously with strength training being a passion of mine. I would have to say this is top tier and easily one of the best instructional videos I have seen on the clean. Good work sir.
I've watched quite a few Wildman videos in the last few days, like many, appreciating the brevity and accuracy of the information given. I've had kettlebells around me since 2006, quite a while, but I was never very happy with my clean technique. I didn't know why. After watching Mark's instructional, I have sorted out my elbow position, adjusted my wrist position and my cleans are much improved.. 14 years late... CZcams does what CZcams does and promoted a video to me about how to clean by a channel with 10 million subscribers (that's a huge amount of YT income), and after watching it, I can honestly say that my clean would of been just as bad as it was if I had followed it alone. The information gleaned from this channel is gold. Mr Wildman, you are appreciated!
Hugh Lutley I’ve noticed that my technique has improved greatly but is there still a bit of tenderness that is expected from using bells. Is there slight hardening process involved when using bells in your experience
@@jpipaj I think what you will notice is that sometimes you get it right and the bell lands correctly but you can't always do the movement so cleanly. Every time you bang your forearms you must note that you fluffed that one up and really concentrate on the technique to get the next rep smooth. Eventually reps will get smoother and smoother. Remember, it's 10,000 reps to master a skill!
Hugh Lutley thank you for your time and advice... I’m really enjoying using bells and I have a lot of work to do if I want to master it...lol... thank you Hugh
Always nice to hear someone who knows what he's talking about
This was probably the best no b/s technique video I’ve ever seen.
This is the most detailed and clear instructions on snatch kettle bell

This is the best explanation on kettlebell clean i've seen. Thank you for this video.
After training with a 12kg cast iron kettlebell for the last three years, because I had bought that one before I watched your videos about good starting weights (shame on me...well I guess it wasn't too bad, that was still good training), I recently got a 16 kg competition kettlebell and suddenly had problems with handling the kettlebell correctly although I never had that problem before... Guess the higher weight and the "new" uncovered a flaw in my grip... So I came back to this video which is still freaking awesome and so precise and clear... I had to comment then because apparently I already liked the video already three years ago...
Awesome tips! I'm just starting out and was doing this a lot! Thank you for the directions and good SEO on the vid title!

DUDE! Thank you so much. I've struggled with the kettlebell for a while with it killing my forearm while in that top hold position and especially while doing an overhead press. Looking forward to trying this out.
This is great!! I have been doing this all wrong! Thank you for showing the hand position through the the entire movement! Such a game changer !!

Nice. Great lesson! Thank you.
This is the best explanation ive seen for this. Thanks for being raw, honest and a beast! cheers
Thank you for this!! I never had the bell at a 45 degree angle and yes, my wrists were feeling a little banged up. I now have my own KBs and need to start back to snatches and cleans and this is a game changer for me. My KB trainer helped me when we were training a few years ago, BUT I think I missed this piece. (I am a tad older and it takes me a few tries to solidify the training :)) I am about to try it out. Thanks again!
Perfect vid. It completely fixed my issue. Thank you!
Excellent instruction on this Thank you!!
Great instruction. thanks for the video!

That video has helped me 100%
Pretty knew to kettlebelling and feeling the benefits.
Thanks for this, because of COVID, I'm unable to get proper DBs for home WODs so this is gonna help me not mess up my wrists/arms for KB movements.
Great tutorial! Thanks
THANK YOU!! It finally makes sense 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Fixed it.
Best explanation of the KN clean, thanks Wildman
Mark thank you for another great video! Ive been meaning to ask u what your thoughts are on racked carries with a kb? Is it a good exercise to build upper body strength apart from the abs?
