    I am discovering that I struggle with the lunge with the kettlebell in the overhead position. So yesterday, I implemented a breakdown. I started from a standing position, cleaned and pressed the bell, lunged down, brought the bell down to the rack position while my knee was still down on the ground and then completed the rest of the lunge. I then repeated for reps and sets. I figured that was the "eccentric" way to do the overhead lunge since the getting off the ground with bell overhead part is harder for me.

    Another brilliant lesson! Mark I am doing your Club bell program twice a week, KB hand to hand twice a week as well as ocean swimming 4 days a week. I will be 75 in September. TKU are the weakest part of the program..shit they are tough. Should I take one day a week and do a non-stop 20 minutes( or work up to it ) exercise with either the Clubs or the Kettlebell as well for its obvious benefits?

    I added club swinging about a month ago, after I stumbled upon one of your videos. I have spent the past 12+ months with nagging back, hip & leg pain. In 2 weeks the symptoms were drastically improved. I am still working on it, but now I only have an occasional "stiff" day. Am saving up to get one of your programs.       I got 2-handed club. LOVE IT!! 110% recommend. The framework is, unsurprisingly, _outstanding_. The execution of the videos & the program is excellent. I bought the 1st 2 levels (of 7) and am having a blast & seeing growth. Just beware forearm flare-up; maybe I’m not keeping elbows locked, maybe additional grip/wrist/forearm warmup is beneficial. Get the program!

    Very good and effective exercise. The upper body controlled rotation adds to the heaps and spine health even if the weight of the club is small or no weight at all, like with Indian clubs. You can do something similar with light cattlebelle, but heavy club make it more fun.

      @@BluegillGreg actually do work i have a very intensive labor job and I do Jiu jitsu, gym and Bulgarian bag training outside of work I know exactly what's it's like to move. Standing in one spot lightly swinging and rotating a club won't do shit for you.

    When I started doing double KB front squats august of last year, I lacked the flexibility to go past 90 degrees. I am now able to go full range and there are just so many aches and pains in my mid 50s body that have been fixed. One of my favorite exercises!

    Did traditional body building and then got into CrossFit and then Olympic lifting. But as a father of 4 and busy, I don’t have that time anymore. Been focusing just on KB training for a year and half and just want to be able to do my job in healthcare and play with my kids. 4 days a week with a quick workout in the AM and I’m done and good to go
