Well done mate yet another informative video if that customer had taken that vehicle to land rover they would have had the car 4 weeks charged over £3k and still not have it fixed🤣🤣

Had enough of the crap -went bought a 1980's saloon & will drive it till it dies, fix it & drive it more. No sensors. No chips. Sod all electronics. Parts are roughly 8 quid for anything. What do I do for a living? I fix customers cars - while wondering are they all touched in the head nodding & agreeing that their 40k pile of dung needs 3500 spent on it so it starts & gets them to work. Feck that. At some point, you have to question what way we are all going. Forwards or backwards?
I agree with you I’m a mechanic I drive a 05 Toyota Yaris can’t be bothered with all that stuff sick of watching customers spending money to keep a car going

All sensors related to DPF (Leave them when there's no change)
Door handles?
Various other components?
Change the battery.
Better, but still DPF faults....
New DPF?
Adblue tank?

4 Hours labour
.....
Then someone finds the broken loom.
New loom!
Another 2 hours labour?

Cost? More than the value of the vehicle.
Another Good Job done... Its just a pity Range Rover designed those wires to be left exposed to the elements
You pay for Quality ( Joke), I had a 2016 Discovery with the Ingenium engine this issue does not surprise me in the slightest my Disco was plagued with electrical issues from the factory I hated the car it was a happy day when it went in 2019.
They actually caused the fault by applying too much protection!
The heat sleeve with the exposed edge was both adding weight, stretching the cable and swinging sideways which wore through the insulation.

Nice one Jimmy, ive a 17 plate R line Tiguan, a glow plug fault has come up, wheel sensor and a few more besides. But i heard that a weak battery can cause this??
