Vintage Fender Stratocaster 1964 - Demo

Some information: BS took over Fender early 1965 and these pre CBS Strat are seen as the pinnacle of Fender instruments in general as when CBS took over fender tended to lean more and more toward mass production and not caring so much anymore about quality, resulting in this quality being lost with its least favorable period at the end of the seventies.
The First owner of this fabulous guitar was an Indonesian gentleman.The second owner is someone I have known for 35 years and trust fully. This is therefore an original guitar with original lacquer, Alder body, flamed maple neck, The trussrod has been replaced, furthermore it comes with Brazilian rosewood slab board, original parts, tremolo and pickups of which two grey bottoms (24th November 1964) , and the middle pickup black bottom (15th of May 1964) During 1964 the switch was made from the earlier black bottom pups to the grey bottoms meaning that the black ones were probably slowly used up/phased out resulting the mix found in this guitar. also the pickups and covers show equal wear. Furthermore original pots and cap, original plastics. pick guard somewhat shrunken which is normal. vintage tremolo. and of course real natural relicing by years and years of use! A true piece of history!
