Great playing on a great guitar! Headstock decal looks 100% legit to me. In fact it’s the most common for the decal outline to show on these. Personally I’m fine with refins if they’re well done.

I'd click an up-thumbs on this just from watching the visuals! And wow. That demo. Right off the bat is perfect. But I wouldn't rather go blind ...
And try some 5881's in that Vibrolux and see how you like 'em ...

Many...many years ago I met a Mr Glass from VOX and we were talking about this Rose-wood veneer. He said that the first few rose-wood slab boards had problems adhering to the maple neck underneath, having an arched veneer actually gives the rosewood more area and a more solid adhesion . I agree with Mr Glass( He was a cabinet maker for vox) he was an old geezer and I was 20 and wanted to know everything about "Electric " Guitars and amps" , he also told me that he made some vox combos with F like amps shoved in them( maybe for research)?

So I guess that’s an aftermarket pick guard. Cuz I saw a guy on the Gear Page say they never turned green. 😂😂😂 knob.

looks fake? no way does a headstock decal leave the factory like this in 64? Leo would have had a FIT! first off they are nitro decals in 64' and they are blended so you never see them cuz after the edges are blended they have a very thin coat of nitro clear over them so they look as if they were silk screened on... this one looks like how they are doing the customs hops these days, pure laziness not even close to 64 in looks or application ..

Looks right to me. I’ve handled quite a few vintage strats.

It amazes me how two people who both seem experienced and familiar with vintage guitars can have such differing opinions. Gotta love it !

@@MichaelDeFillippo8889 Probably because one person is talking bollocks! There's a lot of experienced internet surfers about who know everything about things because they have fished it out of the internet.

@@MichaelDeFillippo8889 Apparently it doesn’t even look close to a real 64 lol. I appreciate authenticating stuff as much as the next guy, but emerald city has the reputation that they do for a reason 🤷🏼‍♂️. They aren’t the type to lie about something like this. A 64 strat for them is just another day on the job
