Saw IV- Detective Rigg stumbled upon his colleague Hoffman and Matthews who is still alive being captured as well. But accidentally deactivates a trap that kills Matthews and Hoffman revealed his identity to Rigg and left him to die. Saw V- Strahm ended up witnessing Jeff killing John and kills him in retaliation when the man starts acting aggressive. He was captured by Hoffman and was trapped but managed to escape. Hoffman then saved Jeff's daughter to make it look like he's not suspicious. When Strahm almost defeated Hoffman after learning his identity he still got killed by a trap. Saw VI- Some of his fellow officers started suspecting Hoffman. But when they did, they were killed in resistance. Hoffman then tested Easton, who denied health coverage on John and other people. He still got killed in the end by the vengeful son of a father he also denied health coverage. Jill tries to kill Hoffman to end the legacy, but he manages to survive. Saw 3D- After finding out about Hoffman, the cops have a large manhunt. Jill seeks help on Matt Gibson; the officer Hoffman saved in the past. Although he tries his best in capturing Hoffman, he was killed. Hoffman then captured Jill and ended up killing her but Gordon imprisoned Hoffman as a justice. Jigsaw- Logan gets his revenge on Detective Halloran for letting a murderer go who killed his wife. He also made a game similar to the first game Jigsaw created in his past. Spiral- A copycat who started targeting corrupt cops was on a flee. Detective Zeke was trying to find who the killer was. Only for him to be his colleague Detective William who faked his own death to get his revenge on the corrupted cops. It all finally ended when Zeke was framed along with his dad and William just quietly sneaks away.

The saw timeline is a tricky one, but this certainly is not it. Your must keep in mind that saw 4 and saw 5 are flashbacks. 4 takes place at around the same time as saw 3 (the endings overlap) and saw 5 takes place right after 4.

Even so, a large part of the movie does take place in the future, 10 years after John's death so if we can place Jigsaw chronologically after saw 7
@@dhanushm2233yeah, really all you need to know is that it’s a murder fest with blood and gore that can be hard to watch with times, and I’d say only some parts even have plot to it, it’s moreso just a gore fest. It’s fun as hell for most of the time if you like horror movies though. Yes, it does have an overarching story but I’d say it’s mainly just a fun movie for you and any homies you have to watch on the couch.

The saw timeline is a tricky one, but this certainly is not it. Your must keep in mind that saw 4 and saw 5 are flashbacks. 4 takes place at around the same time as saw 3 (the endings overlap) and saw 5 takes place right after 4.

Even so, a large part of the movie does take place in the future, 10 years after John's death so if we can place Jigsaw chronologically after saw 7

feels more like: Jigsaw, saw i, saw x, saw ii, saw iii, saw iv, saw v, saw vi, saw 3d, jigsaw again and then spiral. why jigsaw is in two places is in my theory that the scenes with the victims are before all the other games, while the scenes with logan and halloran are 10 years after john died which most likely is after 1-3d, buts thats just my theory, i may be wrong :/
